My idol whom I have grown up watching her performances everytime ,attending her baithaks at her home as a child ,remaining awake till the wee hours hearing her beautiful rendition an being spellbound . Till the age of twelve I was blessed to see her n the stalwarts in the music industry attend these sittings after which we shifted home. Many years later saw her perform at Saptak in Ahmedabad n went backstage to just see n touch her feet. Was stunned to see my idol still so beautiful but was too shy to introduce myself to her. Today she is no more but her music n her memories will always be with me. ❤
