I’m so happy to see someone give Seaside Kingdom love. While the gameplay might not be the greatest out of all the kingdoms, the music and visuals are absolutely beautiful. And as someone who’s a huge fan of beach and underwater aesthetics, I love how well it manages to mix the two.

I love how luncheon kingdom is linear, yet open to explore many places, and i love how in luncheon kindom you can explore many places, and have fun jumping around. Additionally, the visuals are splendid.
Lake is so underrated. The music is top 3, the veil over the underwater dome is gorgeous, traveling in the water is made entertaining, the design of the locals, the zipper is cool, and the overall aesthetic is my absolute favorite in the game (it has this elegant feeling that I really like)
Ruined is, for me, the worst. One of the biggest disappointments in my life. I absolutely loved the atmosphere, but what they did with it is ridiculous. It could be a great place, with the Boos (who are practically absent in the game, except for the ones in Peach's Castle). Cloud Kingdom delivers everything it promises, because it don't promise that much. But Ruined, it promises the world and delivers a grain of sand. Oh, and Wooded is the best for me. I love the atmosphere, the music, the setting. I'm not a fan of the Sherman capture, and Deep Woods is kind boring, but the upper part compensates.
It always seemed like a tease for an upcoming game, though that didn't seem to be the case. When we get Odyssey 2, they can revisit it as a full kingdom. Definitely a chance to finally fulfill the promise of that kingdom.
I used to to think that I was an only person who think sand kingdom and seaside kingdom are the best. BTW, I'd be very grateful if you make a video about predicting Mario Odyssey 2 Kingdoms. Just an idea. Love your vid as always man.
Seaside kingdom is my favorite also for many reasons. The biggest one though is that when you get near to the edge of the kingdom, it doesn't just drop into a void. It blends into the ocean. The other kingdoms just dont feel like kingdoms sometimes because it just drops. I get that it is a game and they have limits but it just didn't feel realistic or like a kingdom, more like random floating islands

Metro, Desert and Seaside were my favorites. Luncheon kingdom is one of my least favorites in terms of completing the missions. Bowser Kingdom had some fire music too
No other Mario has captured that Mario 64 essence until this one. I bought a Switch OLED for TOTK and bought Mario Odyssey as well because well you can’t go wrong with Mario and they’ve always been my favorite Nintendo games. This game is a 9.5/10

The Metro Kingdom is my favorite because it feels like going through a city and The Wooden Kingdom is definitely a good one the music is good to gives me a Sci Fi kinda feel to it.

yeesss I'm so happy seaside kingdom got first! it's my favorite kingdom too and I'd argue it's underrated. the atmosphere with the sunset is immaculate. the sense of exploration is great and the boss fight with the squid dude was actually thrilling :p
I love how part of the sand kingdom involves using a gusher and another part involves using rocket flower. I get to use the favorite parts of my favorite kingdoms all in my favorite kingdom

My top: 17 Cloud Kingdom: Biggest missed oportunity in mario history, so many ideas to put in a giant collecthathon cloud kingdom but it was just a boss fight arena. 16.Ruined Kingdom: Another dissapointment, the dragon boss is trash and the level had 0 sense even by mario standars. 15.Cap Kingdom: A good tutorial level but not much else. I like the aesthetic like ghosts and caps but the moons of this kingdom are pretty boring. 14.Lake Kingdom: Pretty meh to me, lake kingdom have a boring visual style and didn't got to his full potential. It could have been a atlantis kind of mario level with secrets and stuff but the moons are pretty meh and the broodal is super easy. 13.Dark Side: some of the moons are good and fun but other are beyond frustation. Don't get me started in with the annoying photo moons. 12.Cascade Kingdom: pretty good start level, some of the best start levels in mario games. Wish it was bigger and have more variety with the moons but good kingdom nonetheless. 11.Lost Kingdom: a underrated kingdom, kind of forgotten like his theme in the game. The aesthetic is one of the most unique mario has brought to the table, is a poison wood but also with palms and wigglers and ect...is so weird and i love it. The music is top notch and the wiggler is fun to use and his moons are pretty fun, plus the moons with clepto are awesome and notalgic. 10.Moon Kingdom: The endgame of the game, mario stopping the wedding, bowser final battle, the bill banzai in the moon caverns, the ending, so much memorable moments in the game. Plus the mayority of the moons are good. 9.Mushroom Kingdom: This is the nostlagic one, a good kingdom with so much nostalgia and fun moons ( yoshi ). The problem i have with is that half of the moons are toadette giving you awards, it just demostrates the amount of filler that odyssey has. 8.Snow Kingdom: Idk if people hate this kingdom i love it. The race part is some of my favourite part in any mario game. The whole place reminded me of Ice Age and that was good, plus not all the moons are boring. But in the other hand i agree sometimes the snow kingdom feels kinda empty. 7.Darker Side: the final level, so awesome. It feels like a Galaxy level for how frenetic it is. All the captures are here and that mades for a blast of a level, not as hard as Champion's Road from 3D World or not as iconic as Grandmaster Run from GALAXY 2 but awesome nonetheless. 6.Sand Kingdom: One of the best levels in the game, objectively the best level in terms of desing. There is a pretty good balance in terms of filler moons and challenging moons, this one have the best ones. The bullet bill is good to control but the jacksi and the glydeon are GOATED capture abilites. The style is pretty unique for a mario game, who would have tought of a sand ice level? Cool. This was the level that made me fall in love with the game. Idk why nintendo is obseced with hands? Cool boss. 5.Metro Kingdom: the most iconic kingdom in the game. Such a blast! Fun moons ( the majority ), iconic moments like pauline festival. Is probablty the weirdest level in mario history. A city with humans is not a concept you think it could work for a mario game but here we are. The part of fixing the factory is awesome, the boss is also pretty good. 4.Luncheon Kingdom: One of the best kingdoms, the aesthetic is probably the most unique in the game, such a cool concept. A lava world of food? Pretty goofy but still worked for me. The lava thing is fun to use and show some of the best moons in the game. The boss is funny but super easy. Overall i have a blast with this kingdom. 3.Seaside Kingdom: The ultimate water mario level, a beach. Probably the best water level since the galaxy games, the purple octopuss is awesome to control and the french style makes it more eleganth. The boss is good tho pretty hard. Is one the better kingdoms in terms of exploration there is a real sense of finding moons in this kingdom, some of the better hidden ones are here. 2.Bowser Kingdom: you may called me biased but screw it! Bowser kingdom is the best! A chinese theme for a bowser level is a refreshing thing in comparison to the generic "lava castle bowser levels". The boss is the best in the game and one of the best boss fights in mario history. Awesome level. 1.Wooded Kingdom: my favourite level in the game and probably my favourite mario level of all time! The wooded kingdom is awesome! Is the biggest kingdom like fr this is the kingdom where i feel lost, which is good because it have the "lost woods" vibe! The mechanis are awesome and the style is pretty original! The boss is kinda easy but it have a unique UFO desing. The only problem i have i that i don't like the deep woods part, is so confusing where to go and most of the moons of that area and confusing and bland but aside from that the best kingdom in the game imo.

My list teehee: ... 15. Cloud Kingdom I actually like the aesthetic here, it just feels peaceful. Wish they did more with it. I like how big the moon appears here too. 14. Ruined Kingdom I hate that this isn't my #1. It actually frustrates me. Still gonna put it ahead of Cloud Kingdom because I still think the atmosphere is on point and the boss is stellar. 13. Cap Kingdom Love the Tim Burton old London vibes here. Coolest intro world ever, love the atmosphere here too, one of the best there, but beyond that, it's just okay. 12. Snow Kingdom I like the rolly polly ball game, but the kingdom ended up being so disappointing after what was probably the most promising kingdom introduction behind Cascade. Still enjoyable though! 11. Lake Kingdom Neat water level, got stuck trying to find the entrance to the top of the big glass dome for months though. Literally couldn't find the way to progress. Also the zippers are cool. Beyond that it's just alright. 10. Moon Kingdom The kingdom of contrasts! That's why I like it, you go from the serene, desolate, almost frozen in time surface to the ABSOLUTELY ROCKIN AND ROLLIN UNDERGROUND! I like going to this kingdom just to look at the Earth and hear the music. It's awesome atmosphere! 9. Mushroom Kingdom I never played Mario 64. Sorry. Still fun to mess around in though, and I found the painting here way before ever reaching it so that was both confusing but intriguing! 8. Bowser's Kingdom Love the music, colorful clouds, and the whole idea of Bowser's world being like feudal Japan. I wish it wasn't so gosh darn linear, but the Pokio birds were super fun. Also running on rooftops! 7. Cascade Kingdom Hands down the best themed level (I love dinosaurs), best music in a level, and best setting. Looks like Iguazu Falls everywhere and I freaking love it. I wish the level was bigger and less linear, but for what's basically an intro level part 2, can't ask for much. #1 for introductions though!!!! AND THE T-REX!!!!!!!!! 6. Lost Kingdom This one grew on me, I thought it was a little annoying when playing it, but it may have just been an unexpected challenge when I surely expected to be going to New Donk City. The orange lighting on the purple poison water is super pretty and the moons are delightfully challenging, it really feels like you're stranded, like FOR REAL. Gotta hand it to them! 5. Luncheon Kingdom When I found the painting in Lake Kingdom that led here, I was literally like "WTF WHERE AM I" especially since it was the first painting I found. After playing so much game to get here, I didn't expect it to be as WACKY as it was. Silliest kingdom for sure, but abstract food land won my heart still. Just a satisfying kingdom to play all around! 4. Wooded Kingdom I have a soft spot for deep temperate woodsy environments that look like this, so I thought this one was super fun to traverse. The citizens being rusty watering cans is fun, the Deep Woods spooked me, and it's surprisingly confusing to figure out where you're going, which I like as it adds to the "lost in the woods" feel! Also banger music. 3. Seaside Kingdom Such a relaxing kingdom to just sit in, loved the boss too, and just generally a creative level design being split into a cliffy beach and an ocean. Best water level ever. Also the section with the Unagi eels coming out of the walls was honestly one of my favorite sections in the whole game, it was intense! 2. Metro Kingdom After seeing all the trailers showing a bright and sunny, bustling city, I did not expect complete Gotham vibes with the dark, rainy night and flies everywhere. Love how treacherous the start of this kingdom is, and how you don't even see the city all bright and sunny until you defeat the boss, which I'll admit wasn't, like, THE BEST boss ever, but certainly not the worst. One of the coolest looking and most intimidating though. Then flinging yourself around the city during the daytime is just a blast, there's so much to explore in such a compact area. So many creative ideas packed into one of the most unique kingdoms, and who can forget the festival? 1. Sand Kingdom The biggest, the baddest, and the best. This is the best kingdom. When I finished Cascade Kingdom, I had no idea the absolute adventure ahead of me in the next kingdom ALONE! When I think of Mario Odyssey, I think of this kingdom because it just has so much content in it that I genuinely felt that Mario Odyssey WAS THE SAND KINGDOM if that makes any sense. It took the longest to complete by far, and I genuinely forgot what the screen when you move to the next kingdom looked like because I was so enthralled in the world of the Sand Kingdom. No other kingdom made me feel like it could've been the entire game on its own. Not to mention the entire sequence where you lift the upside-down pyramid out of the ground and it turns to night? That had to be the most magical part of the game for me. Love all the references to the boss around the kingdom, and the sheer diversity of the kingdom as well, from the Mexican town, to the ancient ruins, to the oasis and moai area and poison lake, I mean it's just amazing. I could go on and on but you get it lmao. ... Anyways if you read all of that I guess I'm a good writer but also why did you read all that holy guacamole!
Finally, someone actually appreciating Seaside and Wooded, I would put wooded second, but apart from that it’s quite an accurate ranking. Seaside is the best!
I love the fact that you also think that Seaside Kingdom is the best kingdom as well. But what really love the kingdom besides the gameplay and the beach atmosphere was the music. You should do a video ranking the music from all of the kingdoms in Mario Odyssey someday.
I’m gonna throw my opinion out before seeing this. I’m just curious to see what your least favorite is. Mine is easily the Luncheon Kingdom. I loved every other kingdom but that is the only kingdom I actually hated. It felt unpolished and unfinished. And it was so ugly. Mushroom Kingdom is easily my favorite. I loved Mario 64 back in the day, so that was a treat to see
Try playing "Tostarena Night" (or whatever the desert town is called) in the Cloud Kingdom next time you do the post-game. It made the Cloud Kingdom a top 5 world for me. Sometimes, you just need the right atmosphere.

I was really late getting mario odyssey, so I knew most of the game. I watched smallant most of the time, but somehow i didn’t remember the seaside kingdom. So playing that kingdom was a magical experience. Same for lost btw
No one has ever mentioned this but has anyone thought the squid capture in seaside kingdom was kind of a reference to mario sunshine the way the moves worked.

@@Driggsdamonstah I don’t really remember the gameplay; I honestly think they were both equally as short as one could get in this game. But the dragon fight was cooler than of Bowser’s in the cloud kingdom at the very least. But that is true that there is missing potential. Although, seeing as what is of Cloud Kingdom, it didn’t have much potential other than a boss arena.
@@zay2k539 only to have the Mushroom Kingdom refight be better? Truth be told. I’m not too fond of the Final Boss since it’s the same fight as the Cloud Kingdom encounter, and it gets lampshaded by the escape sequence, Fighting a Dragon is awesome but it’s thrown out when there’s a better fight of it in a better kingdom.
I’m sorry but I personally dislike Seaside Kingdom Yeah, it’s a pretty Kingdom but I hate navigating it because it’s so hard for me to visualise where everything is because most moons are underwater. I also have exploring underwater because it’s slow and awkward even with a cheap cheap. I massively prefer Lake Kingdom because the water area is more contained
Someone finally saying how subpar snow kingdom is. Snow is one of my least favorite kingdoms. The fact you have to go through TWO loading zones before even getting to the “center” of the town just bothers me. I love kingdoms where you can explore and see the whole thing from a top view like wooded and seaside, some of my favorites. The outside is basically boring and barren while the race zone is just… the race. The freeform sandbox element is what makes Mario odyssey magical. Restricting him to small loading zones and four doors is CRIMINAL to me.
While I don't fully agree with your ranking (for me Metro is the best, Bowser and Lost are some of the best, and I'm not that big a fan of Seaside and Sand), it was an enjoyable video. It also says a lot about the game when the worst real kingdom (which I agree is Cap) is still a ton of fun!
I love snow and sand kingdom the best snow feels so cozy even if your outside the Polar bears? bunker and sand kingdom got me to love it so much by the demo, yes the demo like if you've played the demo its the first kingdom you see

Metro, Desert and Seaside were my favorites. Luncheon kingdom is one of my least favorites in terms of completing the missions. Bowser Kingdom had some fire music too
No other Mario has captured that Mario 64 essence until this one. I bought a Switch OLED for TOTK and bought Mario Odyssey as well because well you can’t go wrong with Mario and they’ve always been my favorite Nintendo games. This game is a 9.5/10

The Metro Kingdom is my favorite because it feels like going through a city and The Wooden Kingdom is definitely a good one the music is good to gives me a Sci Fi kinda feel to it.

yeesss I'm so happy seaside kingdom got first! it's my favorite kingdom too and I'd argue it's underrated. the atmosphere with the sunset is immaculate. the sense of exploration is great and the boss fight with the squid dude was actually thrilling :p

I love how part of the sand kingdom involves using a gusher and another part involves using rocket flower. I get to use the favorite parts of my favorite kingdoms all in my favorite kingdom

My top:
17 Cloud Kingdom: Biggest missed oportunity in mario history, so many ideas to put in a giant collecthathon cloud kingdom but it was just a boss fight arena.
16.Ruined Kingdom: Another dissapointment, the dragon boss is trash and the level had 0 sense even by mario standars.
15.Cap Kingdom: A good tutorial level but not much else. I like the aesthetic like ghosts and caps but the moons of this kingdom are pretty boring.
14.Lake Kingdom: Pretty meh to me, lake kingdom have a boring visual style and didn't got to his full potential. It could have been a atlantis kind of mario level with secrets and stuff but the moons are pretty meh and the broodal is super easy.
13.Dark Side: some of the moons are good and fun but other are beyond frustation. Don't get me started in with the annoying photo moons.
12.Cascade Kingdom: pretty good start level, some of the best start levels in mario games. Wish it was bigger and have more variety with the moons but good kingdom nonetheless.
11.Lost Kingdom: a underrated kingdom, kind of forgotten like his theme in the game. The aesthetic is one of the most unique mario has brought to the table, is a poison wood but also with palms and wigglers and ect...is so weird and i love it. The music is top notch and the wiggler is fun to use and his moons are pretty fun, plus the moons with clepto are awesome and notalgic.
10.Moon Kingdom: The endgame of the game, mario stopping the wedding, bowser final battle, the bill banzai in the moon caverns, the ending, so much memorable moments in the game. Plus the mayority of the moons are good.
9.Mushroom Kingdom: This is the nostlagic one, a good kingdom with so much nostalgia and fun moons ( yoshi ). The problem i have with is that half of the moons are toadette giving you awards, it just demostrates the amount of filler that odyssey has.
8.Snow Kingdom: Idk if people hate this kingdom i love it. The race part is some of my favourite part in any mario game. The whole place reminded me of Ice Age and that was good, plus not all the moons are boring. But in the other hand i agree sometimes the snow kingdom feels kinda empty.
7.Darker Side: the final level, so awesome. It feels like a Galaxy level for how frenetic it is. All the captures are here and that mades for a blast of a level, not as hard as Champion's Road from 3D World or not as iconic as Grandmaster Run from GALAXY 2 but awesome nonetheless.
6.Sand Kingdom: One of the best levels in the game, objectively the best level in terms of desing. There is a pretty good balance in terms of filler moons and challenging moons, this one have the best ones. The bullet bill is good to control but the jacksi and the glydeon are GOATED capture abilites. The style is pretty unique for a mario game, who would have tought of a sand ice level? Cool. This was the level that made me fall in love with the game. Idk why nintendo is obseced with hands? Cool boss.
5.Metro Kingdom: the most iconic kingdom in the game. Such a blast! Fun moons ( the majority ), iconic moments like pauline festival. Is probablty the weirdest level in mario history. A city with humans is not a concept you think it could work for a mario game but here we are. The part of fixing the factory is awesome, the boss is also pretty good.
4.Luncheon Kingdom: One of the best kingdoms, the aesthetic is probably the most unique in the game, such a cool concept. A lava world of food? Pretty goofy but still worked for me. The lava thing is fun to use and show some of the best moons in the game. The boss is funny but super easy. Overall i have a blast with this kingdom.
3.Seaside Kingdom: The ultimate water mario level, a beach. Probably the best water level since the galaxy games, the purple octopuss is awesome to control and the french style makes it more eleganth. The boss is good tho pretty hard. Is one the better kingdoms in terms of exploration there is a real sense of finding moons in this kingdom, some of the better hidden ones are here.
2.Bowser Kingdom: you may called me biased but screw it! Bowser kingdom is the best! A chinese theme for a bowser level is a refreshing thing in comparison to the generic "lava castle bowser levels". The boss is the best in the game and one of the best boss fights in mario history. Awesome level.
1.Wooded Kingdom: my favourite level in the game and probably my favourite mario level of all time! The wooded kingdom is awesome! Is the biggest kingdom like fr this is the kingdom where i feel lost, which is good because it have the "lost woods" vibe! The mechanis are awesome and the style is pretty original! The boss is kinda easy but it have a unique UFO desing. The only problem i have i that i don't like the deep woods part, is so confusing where to go and most of the moons of that area and confusing and bland but aside from that the best kingdom in the game imo.

I actually like the aesthetic here, it just feels peaceful. Wish they did more with it. I like how big the moon appears here too.

I hate that this isn't my #1. It actually frustrates me. Still gonna put it ahead of Cloud Kingdom because I still think the atmosphere is on point and the boss is stellar.
13. Cap Kingdom
Love the Tim Burton old London vibes here. Coolest intro world ever, love the atmosphere here too, one of the best there, but beyond that, it's just okay.
12. Snow Kingdom
I like the rolly polly ball game, but the kingdom ended up being so disappointing after what was probably the most promising kingdom introduction behind Cascade. Still enjoyable though!
11. Lake Kingdom
Neat water level, got stuck trying to find the entrance to the top of the big glass dome for months though. Literally couldn't find the way to progress. Also the zippers are cool. Beyond that it's just alright.
10. Moon Kingdom
The kingdom of contrasts! That's why I like it, you go from the serene, desolate, almost frozen in time surface to the ABSOLUTELY ROCKIN AND ROLLIN UNDERGROUND! I like going to this kingdom just to look at the Earth and hear the music. It's awesome atmosphere!
9. Mushroom Kingdom
I never played Mario 64. Sorry. Still fun to mess around in though, and I found the painting here way before ever reaching it so that was both confusing but intriguing!
8. Bowser's Kingdom
Love the music, colorful clouds, and the whole idea of Bowser's world being like feudal Japan. I wish it wasn't so gosh darn linear, but the Pokio birds were super fun. Also running on rooftops!
7. Cascade Kingdom
Hands down the best themed level (I love dinosaurs), best music in a level, and best setting. Looks like Iguazu Falls everywhere and I freaking love it. I wish the level was bigger and less linear, but for what's basically an intro level part 2, can't ask for much. #1 for introductions though!!!! AND THE T-REX!!!!!!!!!
6. Lost Kingdom
This one grew on me, I thought it was a little annoying when playing it, but it may have just been an unexpected challenge when I surely expected to be going to New Donk City. The orange lighting on the purple poison water is super pretty and the moons are delightfully challenging, it really feels like you're stranded, like FOR REAL. Gotta hand it to them!
5. Luncheon Kingdom
When I found the painting in Lake Kingdom that led here, I was literally like "WTF WHERE AM I" especially since it was the first painting I found. After playing so much game to get here, I didn't expect it to be as WACKY as it was. Silliest kingdom for sure, but abstract food land won my heart still. Just a satisfying kingdom to play all around!
4. Wooded Kingdom
I have a soft spot for deep temperate woodsy environments that look like this, so I thought this one was super fun to traverse. The citizens being rusty watering cans is fun, the Deep Woods spooked me, and it's surprisingly confusing to figure out where you're going, which I like as it adds to the "lost in the woods" feel! Also banger music.
3. Seaside Kingdom
Such a relaxing kingdom to just sit in, loved the boss too, and just generally a creative level design being split into a cliffy beach and an ocean. Best water level ever. Also the section with the Unagi eels coming out of the walls was honestly one of my favorite sections in the whole game, it was intense!
2. Metro Kingdom
After seeing all the trailers showing a bright and sunny, bustling city, I did not expect complete Gotham vibes with the dark, rainy night and flies everywhere. Love how treacherous the start of this kingdom is, and how you don't even see the city all bright and sunny until you defeat the boss, which I'll admit wasn't, like, THE BEST boss ever, but certainly not the worst. One of the coolest looking and most intimidating though. Then flinging yourself around the city during the daytime is just a blast, there's so much to explore in such a compact area. So many creative ideas packed into one of the most unique kingdoms, and who can forget the festival?
1. Sand Kingdom
The biggest, the baddest, and the best. This is the best kingdom. When I finished Cascade Kingdom, I had no idea the absolute adventure ahead of me in the next kingdom ALONE! When I think of Mario Odyssey, I think of this kingdom because it just has so much content in it that I genuinely felt that Mario Odyssey WAS THE SAND KINGDOM if that makes any sense. It took the longest to complete by far, and I genuinely forgot what the screen when you move to the next kingdom looked like because I was so enthralled in the world of the Sand Kingdom. No other kingdom made me feel like it could've been the entire game on its own. Not to mention the entire sequence where you lift the upside-down pyramid out of the ground and it turns to night? That had to be the most magical part of the game for me. Love all the references to the boss around the kingdom, and the sheer diversity of the kingdom as well, from the Mexican town, to the ancient ruins, to the oasis and moai area and poison lake, I mean it's just amazing. I could go on and on but you get it lmao.

The best music for me was from a Small World. It’s titled Ice, and it’s the one in the sand kingdom sub areas.
I’m gonna throw my opinion out before seeing this. I’m just curious to see what your least favorite is. Mine is easily the Luncheon Kingdom. I loved every other kingdom but that is the only kingdom I actually hated. It felt unpolished and unfinished. And it was so ugly. Mushroom Kingdom is easily my favorite. I loved Mario 64 back in the day, so that was a treat to see
I would’ve placed bowser kingdom way higher myself (N.2 right after seaside, my personal favourite)
Try playing "Tostarena Night" (or whatever the desert town is called) in the Cloud Kingdom next time you do the post-game. It made the Cloud Kingdom a top 5 world for me. Sometimes, you just need the right atmosphere.
I prefer the night theme over the day theme and I love how the desert looks at night and during sundown in Luigi's balloon world.

@@zay2k539 Ruined has more wasted potential and is less varied than Cloud gameplay wise. You can’t rely on style over substance.
@@Driggsdamonstah I don’t really remember the gameplay; I honestly think they were both equally as short as one could get in this game. But the dragon fight was cooler than of Bowser’s in the cloud kingdom at the very least. But that is true that there is missing potential. Although, seeing as what is of Cloud Kingdom, it didn’t have much potential other than a boss arena.
@@zay2k539 only to have the Mushroom Kingdom refight be better? Truth be told. I’m not too fond of the Final Boss since it’s the same fight as the Cloud Kingdom encounter, and it gets lampshaded by the escape sequence, Fighting a Dragon is awesome but it’s thrown out when there’s a better fight of it in a better kingdom.
Funnily enough, I already knew what number one was going to be. And sand kingdom, would be my number two as well.

I’m sorry but I personally dislike Seaside Kingdom
Yeah, it’s a pretty Kingdom but I hate navigating it because it’s so hard for me to visualise where everything is because most moons are underwater. I also have exploring underwater because it’s slow and awkward even with a cheap cheap. I massively prefer Lake Kingdom because the water area is more contained

Someone finally saying how subpar snow kingdom is. Snow is one of my least favorite kingdoms. The fact you have to go through TWO loading zones before even getting to the “center” of the town just bothers me. I love kingdoms where you can explore and see the whole thing from a top view like wooded and seaside, some of my favorites. The outside is basically boring and barren while the race zone is just… the race. The freeform sandbox element is what makes Mario odyssey magical. Restricting him to small loading zones and four doors is CRIMINAL to me.
Snow kingdom is so underrated
While I don't fully agree with your ranking (for me Metro is the best, Bowser and Lost are some of the best, and I'm not that big a fan of Seaside and Sand), it was an enjoyable video. It also says a lot about the game when the worst real kingdom (which I agree is Cap) is still a ton of fun!
