    Thank you for the review. It is nice to watch a video with no unnecessary music, without 'funny' segments and lots of tests with different filaments and settings. You totally seem like a guy how knows what he is doing. I'm sold and going to give this printer a try. I perviously had Tevo Tarantula, but over 6 months I was printing (and buying) upgrades 90% of the time. The factory parts were wobbly and the print quality reflected that. I got frustrated, sold the pice of junk and decided that I will never touch any cheap printers out there, but this printer seems to get job done. I salute you and you have earned your subscription and like from a guy who never rates videos. Again, thanks a lot.

    Not only did you provide perhaps one of the most comprehensive and detailed reviews I have EVER watched, but you always suggested several basic upgrades! I’m hoping to receive one of these for Christmas in replacement of a heavily modified MP Mini v2 I have.

    I purchased one of these and am impressed with the quality and the finish. Both are great. The machine comes well packaged and was easily assembled. I did have a problem with the auto leveler that turned out to be a problem that I designed myself. I put a ty rap on on of the legs of the printer and routed it around to the wrong side. When the printer went to the top it pulled the auto level component out of the circuit board. Was not a big issue and was up and running quickly. Over all the machine is wonderful and I would suggest to anyone that this is a perfect machine if you want to run PLA. There has been talk lately of the problems with ABS and concerns that it might be toxic. I don't know if that is an issue at all but PLA is made of corn and I feel more comfortable with using it as a material. About six years ago I purchased a Qidi printer for my grandson and it worked pretty good. This machine is easier to work with though it does not have the two extruders. For the price of the Anycubic Kossel you won't find a better printer. Did I mention the support? Anyway, these guys are great and will have a note back to you in one day if it is not the weekend or Chinese holiday (October 1-8). I found my machine on ebay for $200. I couldn't be happier.

    Word of warning, do not lose a slider off the end of a rail. If the balls come out and you lose some of them, even though they are the same as the HGN12HC, they are not the same. The AnyCubic ones are tighter tolerance ones than the replacements you can buy. The replacement ones will wobble on the AnyCubic rails. You can use the ball bearings from the replacements to replace the ones in the AnyCubic sliders. Leave a gap between the first and last one or they will not work right. And the AnyCubic sliders will not slide onto the short stub of plastic rail that comes with the other sliders. Your other option would be to buy a slider and rail as a set. If it wobbles, send it back as they should not do that when new.

    I bought this as my first printer after watching this video. Keep in mind I had no other experience with 3d printing. I had no problem assembling it but the firmware was problematic. Thankfully nowadays there is a firmware called "Marlin" with appropriate config files for this printer. After finding and installing this new firmware the printer is 2x better than before!

      How has the Anycubic been? Have you had any issues?

    • @sergiu4real
      @sergiu4real 6 лет назад

      anonimuso, it's a great printer. I've printed about 3kg worth of filament parts.
      Firstly I've printed upgrades for it: frame corner reinforcements; belt tensioner (which broke and I've replaced them with the upgraded version from thingiverse), extruder fan shroud, cable clips, buffer legs, ring LED lights. After the structural reinforcement upgrades, the prints became much better.
      I had an Anet A8 before and compared to it, this Anycubic Kossel Linear Plus is twice as fast, good for details but it does have some wobbles.
      Have you bought one too?

    • @anonimuso

      Sergiu S No, I haven't. But thank you for the info. I'm still deciding, but now I'm leaning towards the Tevo Tornado because build size is very important to me.

    You review and presentation overall is good however there are problems with the presentation on assembly. I do realize that this is not an installation guide but you do take on the task of showing how to build the structure. Within that context here is the list of concerns:
    A - there is no mention on keeping the tee-nuts aligned within the aluminum track to achieve the best anchoring methodology.
    B - There is no mention of not allowing the linear sliders from moving off the track as the loose bearings will fall out.
    C - There is no mention of aligning the railing with the bottom frame.
    These above issues are indeed critical and by omission they do not guide your visitor down a safe pathway.

    Great information as usual. Hard to watch these without commenting as people are usually quick to criticise but seldom give credit where it's due. I also like your testing techniques as you really try and find if they have any weak spots.
    For your next challenge (haha) swap out your controller for a 32 bit one (ie. Lerdge-K) with better micro stepping as the 8 bit boards are supposedly punished with all the floating point maths that's required. The Lerge boards have inbuilt FP unit and run at 168Mhz off memory.

  • @danhouse7565
    @danhouse7565 5 лет назад

    been building mine since 10/3, the mechanical assembly was easy, but now I find the manual is inconsistent for z stops compared to the image in the manual, and it wont home or run the levelling process correctly.
    If I have I to do firmware corrections or anything other tahn uploading a new version, then its going back. Not a good kit for a beginner. Glad yours work good for you.

    I am reading this on an Amazon rating: "Cura is a pain, sometimes it makes layers shift when using supports it generates. Flavors don't always work save with Marlin and it shifts layer riprap and it's fine." It seems other reviews on Amazon also state that Cura is not the best to work with. Rating posted on: April 22, 2019.

    Hi great vid. You seem to be the lucky one as my printer will not auto level. When it is powered up it just says welcome Anycubic Kossel and does not show which firmware version it is. When I try to auto level it will only probe the left side and goes off the print bed as well. I had lots of QC issues Two corner pieces at the bottom were upside down. The power supply was dead. The screen never lit up because the usb jumper was set incorrectly. Sorted all therse problems out and now it wont auto level. I think there are quiet a few people with this problem. Any chance of you leaving a link to a firmware that works cheers Tim

    Your review is great. Could you share your Cura profile for this printer? I am using same printer for quite long time and i can barely achieve half of your quality. What is more, my models are always over extended (for example when i print model with hole 5 mm i get only about 4mm and so on) so whenever i want to print model which join some elements together it never fit to each other. Further more i always have to turn cooling fun manual from printer while printing, because setting it from cura profile don't work. I really can't get over this issues, and i think that it could be maybe software of printer or bad setting of cura profile, but i do not know to what i am suppose to change (yes i tried some changes)

    Thank you very much for your video, I decided to buy the anycubic linear kossel plus printer after watching your video. I am very happy with the printer, but I have a question, and I would be very grateful if you could answer me. What profile have you used in the Cura program? I am using the DeltaBot profil. Thank you very much

    Any chance you could share your CURA profile you are using as i cannot get mine to print well.

    I THINK you should try silent steppers, flying extruder, tpu, and also enclosing the whole thing for ABS.

    Just one last thing... The calibration sensor should be removed after the levelling?

    • @b54v55
      @b54v55 6 лет назад

      ComputermanAM13 Yes it should be removed as it obstructs the nozzle. You’d end up damaging the sensor

      Yes, thank you.
      I have just received it and works fine!
      How much did it take to print the vase? Did Cura solve the 0.5mm issue in the latest update?

    I am a Korean. This is a translator. I made a 3D printer in March, 2017, when I was 13 years old. And it doesn't get any better.If possible, tell me how to set up the CURA. My 3D printer model is an anycubic kossel delta 3D printer pulley.

    Hi I know I am a bit late, but could you share your Cura Profile/Settings? I can't get mine to print as nice as yours. Or do you use a different programme? Thanks! We actually bought this printer after seeing this video.

    I bought this printer and it is having trouble homing and getting the z axis position, was wondering if you might be able to put up a link to your firmware. it looks like a lot of these machines are coming with problems with the auto home and I'm hoping that your software might fix this.

    You print Benchy but you don't measure him? It'd be nice to know if the Kossel LP prints a 10mm line when you ask it to.

    Hey Nexi, dunno if you remember me but I'd bought the CR-10 Mini from your affiliate link after chatting in your CR-10 video's comments section last April (you mentioned the Mini was better because the smaller bed heats up faster than the large bed in the CR-10). I've learnt a lot over the last 4 months and I'm ready to try something different. I'm tempted to get the anycubic kossel linear plus to have the delta's speed, but I'm not a fan of the small build volume. What are your thoughts? Would you recommend it? Or would you get something like an Ender 3 instead?

  • @timsmith6815

    I need a little help, I just put my Kossel Linear together and it's working great I print from SD card only no PC connected to printer. Whenever I turn on the printer and start to print I must run the bed leveling procedure or it will start the print like 10 inches from the build plate, running the complete leveling procedure then printing from sd works perfect. I must be missing some simple step can anyone help? It's a pain to run the leveling procedure all the time.

    Great review! Did you run in to any of the issues with the software that were mentioned in other videos like the hotend crashing into the build plate during auto level?

    • @NexiTech
      @NexiTech  6 лет назад

      tykelly310 Thanks! Crashing in to the Build plate? Wow! Not at all. Maybe they didn't follow instructions or did not connected wires to the motherboard correctly. When I connected my auto probe I test it first with the finger is it work or not. I can't image someone push "auto home" on any 3D printer without extra check all wires and connections and confirm are they connected and I are they actually work in the first place.

    I’m the owner of the same model. After watching it through, I’ve noticed that you get much higher bed temperature. I’m allready struggling to get to 95°C and it takes quite long... Did you had any issues with the temperature or do you have any Idea what could be the issue?

    Could you please tell how you modified the gcode to resume print

    • @NexiTech
      @NexiTech  4 года назад

      Nirman Aggarwal Open your G code file with the Note plus program, measure by hand exact point Z-height where your printer stop, Ctr-F to found the Z axis point in the G code file, then delete all G codes from the beginning up to your Z measurement or closest one( Don't delete the start G codes only the movements!) Then add G0 Z( your measurement) before the movements line, to tell the printer to rise up print head first to that height and save the new G code. Done

    If you compare thia delta to CR 10 or CR 10s, do they have same quality? Is this good for mass production printing?

    • @NexiTech
      @NexiTech  6 лет назад +1

      SimRacing Gaming I got to say that for mass production printing CR10 OR CR10S is better choose and yes, they have slightly better print quality.

    So good review Nexi, as always! I found this printer on Aliexpress with a considerable lower price, do you recommend to buy this one on Aliexpress? Thanks in advance!

    • @NexiTech
      @NexiTech  6 лет назад

      Thank you mate! Considerable lower price? I just check price on Anycubic store on Aliexress and price is very similar. Depending of country it can add more shipping cost. Make sure that you was looking in the same version like in this video (Linear plus version with Auto level). There is a lot of version of this printer. Some don't have auto level, Linear rails, Big power-supply, metal spool holder etc... This is the best version that you can get. And of course you can order it from Aliexpress directly from Anycubic store if you like. It's safe. Cheers :)
