I love this song it helps me to forgive my past of all my failures, screw ups, lost of friends, failing catholic school, and things that didn’t go the way I wanted and also helps me to forgive others and makes me ok with my past and also forgiving me for doing others wrong. Most of all carry on…
I was about 13 at the time these guys were around. As a kid I was obsessed with 60s-90s rock and pop. Never appreciated them back then but I sure do now
I don't always watch the Grammy's but there are a number of memorable moments. This one stands out as I remember that I was already enjoying the performance until the rain started and it was moving, but also the former contractor in me started running in my head through all the details required to make sure they were not all killed by electrocution on stage! Another great one was Sia a couple years later when Maddie Ziegler & Kristen Wiig performed with her.
This is such an inspiring performance. All their blood, sweat, and tears leading up to that moment of their life. On the biggest stage. In front of so many other inspiring people. And they left it all out there. Truly amazing.
Not sure where i was when i saw this performance. Heard the song for the first time. Did not know who they was or what the song was. It felt and sounded foreign. I was captivated. I never forgot it. A year later i am at the gym, and just hearing this song come over the speaker's, i knew it was it. The rest speaks for itself.
Nate is doing that on purpose. He repeats the same notes @ 1:24 and 1:34. It is a stylistic choice and I kinda like it. I miss the band so much it take me back to the days with my best friend he played this song to the point I hate it now I listen to it and fill close to him again. Come back Fun
I will never get over his voice I hope he makes a comeback
Glad I’m not the only one

@@fennaraaijmakers9300 ik right. I’m glad there’s others that still remember them and wish for him to comeback

I've re-discovered this band in 2024 and the lyrics hit SO much harder than when I was 14. Amazing.

2:36 is probably the best “Carry On” solo that I have ever heard.
This makes me miss 2013. I graduated high school back then and this gives me memories of those days and my old friends
Who's here in 2023??
I'm watching
Me

All of their songs are so great but this performance will always be a standout. Awesome anthems!! 👏🏻

떼창으로만 듣다가 이렇게 들으니 느낌이 또 다르네요ㅎㅎ

Suara yang sangat khas❤
Nate is love♡ come to

Amazing voice ❤ he should be the lead singer of a band or something 🎉
Wow.
Didn’t love the way Nate played around with the notes here, but the one thing he killed as always was the high notes. Fucking insane voice
❤❤❤
Que ricaaaa vooozzz🤤🤤🤤🤤💫💫💫🔥💝
😀👍👍👍
God, Bleachers is great, Nate is heard from here and there, and then there’s Taylor, but I really wish they could do 1 more album together!
Nate Ruess sounds like Freddie Mercury.
But the artificial rain / just why? It’s the enemy of live performance
Queen - Carry On 😂😂😂
This is the only band that measures up to Queen, Led Zeppelin, The Stones, Pink Floyd!
who is the girl that comes out at minute 4:16?
Janelle Monae. She featured on their song “We Are Young”
dang, they were much much better as a band, what they do now feels only 1/3 of what it could be.
he always reminds me of john mulaney
0:19 sour note lol. he went a bit high there. still amazing tho
It wasn’t a perfect vocal performance but I feel like that made it better. He was clearly going for it.
@@davedarling6512 totally. This shows us that We are all human and no one is gonna be perfect.
