I agree, just use a quality mineral oil and change it at correct intervals and your engine will last a long time I doubt using full synthetic is going to make your engine last even 31,000 miles longer.
I use all Sinto product for 12 years and its by far the best treatment you can get for your all lubrifiant need! Congrats for making video, more people need to use this!
Now 90K on conventional oil. Original owner. Later in the year, I’ll try Synthetic Oil. I’ll keep you posted. Hope after 1 oil change a year (10k miles), instead of conventional oil at 3,750 miles per the owners manual
Modern mineral oil is fine for intervals of 10k km or 1 year. Follow owner's manual maintenance procedures and your car will be good for years to come.
Is it ok to switch from mineral to synthetic with out any issues especially old vehicle say 2008 models? How we can know that? Is there any precautions needed while switching?
My 2006 V8 f150 leaks around the heads with synthetic oil. The particles are smaller they find a way out easier. To the comment below, it's a 15 year old vehicle why does it matter. Rich people say a car is old when it's 4 years with 120,000kms. If it's lasted that long the type of oil shouldn't matter. I worked at a oil shop my 600,000kms Honda civic burned oil I used the used oil too keep it filled. I had to scrap it because it was rusting out. The engine worked amazingly.
There are no better oils now days, they all have an API rating of SN. What matters is that you use the Typ of oil specified in the oweners manual for that car.
I personally have been using synthetic lubricants since the 1980s. I've learned the product and industry over that time. Very good lubricants...
KEEP YOUR OIL CHANGED AND CONVENTIONAL WILL WORK FINE. IT'S BEEN WORKING FOR CENTURIES
1 century
But modern engines benefits more from synthetic.

DO NOT run 10 thousand miles on ANY oil, no matter what the bottle says. Stick to the recommended 5k mile or 6 month interval.
