THANK YOU . thank you for moving fast & doing it while driving on a set corse simulating racing. I get tired of seeing boats that go fast in a straight line for top speed. I like watching them make those runs but I want to see race oval setups, & it looks like your set to go. Your boat is on edge in the corner but flying stable in the straight. Thanks for your video.
Pretty sweet turning boat. Thanks for showing. Any chance that you at some point could show this, the Zonda and new zonda doing a lap or two around the track (or general bashing)? I am guessing the last two mentioned are more straight line runners, but it would be cool to see just how different the turning capabilities are between those 3 :)
Hi Ørjan, I sure can do! But the Two zonda’s are just notorious for throwing the rear and spin out mid turn. That means its very tough to get a full run actually. :) I have run both the TFL zonda and new zonda on this track also.
@@EmilWilkensRC Cheers for that! I totally get what you are saying. It would just be nice to see how big of a difference it is, and if there is any difference between the two zonda’s. You dont by chance have any experience with TFL Cheetah?
@@orjlan they are more similar than different on the circuit for sure :) i will see if i can find some clips with those two also. The cheetah i have no experience with, but only heard good things about its handling ability - also for track.
Dear Emil, winter ice has shut down testing here in NE Pennsylvania. I have now a question regarding the timing for the stock 1900kv motors in my MG36. They’re set as supplied with appears to be 7.5*. On my D wind Zonda 2075kv’s, 0* timing has yielded very good results. As I don’t know what type (D or Y) motors are supplied in the MG36, am I leaving performance on the table with 7.5* with the MG36 on my 700ft pond? Interestingly I have observed that the MG36 V2 has been discontinued by Proboat. Thanks for any advice you can provide.
Very good driving, nice running boat!

What cells were you running here? Great video!

Great video Emil, keep it up :)
Thank you so much! Means a lot coming from you. Old footage, 2023 will be next level hopefully :D
@@EmilWilkensRC Haha can't wait, any news on the public release of the R6 II ?
@@KiTrisExtremeRc its on the shelves already! Im still saving up 🤣
@@EmilWilkensRC Ah ok, the A7s III took months until the first stores got them :D
@@KiTrisExtremeRc i was contacted by my local shop about a week ago, but decided to wait until Jan/Feb :)
Greetings Emil, do you have any knowledge of why Secret Squirrel has had no new videos? I really enjoy his content.
Hi Christopher,
I know he is busy with other things currently. I myself also 😅👍🏼 but im sure he will be back.
What props does Thomas run on this oval racer?
42mm CNC props from TFL
Any chance you could share what CG % the boat is running? Boat looks super locked in, is it blueprinted?
It’s not my boat, but i know it’s is very front heavy.
@@EmilWilkensRC cheers mate
But the boat is more or less stock, so should be possible to get an idea from the battery placement
