Been using FL for 6 years and never knew about that CTRL drag up feature, game changer! Also when selecting clips you can hold CTRL and left click/drag to choose only the clips you want to consolidate, in case there's other stuff going on at the point in the track 👌
1:00 this was a life changing moment for me haha For years I've been wondering why my keyboard shortcuts arent working... Amazing video, I also learnt alot ☺️
Man... you're absolutely the best at making tutorials. Always attention to details, explaining every step of what you're doing and giving little tips too along with it. I've been a Reason user for years and I finally wanted to experiment with FL and you've been a great help! Thank you!
Mike, this is professional level TEACHING, not to mention professional level mastery of music production. You're very clear, structured, didactic, and easy to follow. A pro teacher.
You're often my go-to when it comes to learning tricks and functions in FL studio when I don't know how to do something. There's a lot to learn! Thank you for your helpful videos :)
I can hardly think of any better FL teacher! Your videos are so well done, easy to understand and just provide more than I could ever ask for. Thanks so much for putting this out, brother. :)
Best place to come on RUclips for FL Studio knowledge! I learned so much from this channel about FL that I didn’t even know existed. Makes the hobby even more fun! Thanks brother! Cheers 🍻
Excellent tutorial. Concise, addresses potential beginner pitfalls, and comprehensive. Switching to FL from Ableton right now and your tutorials are indispensable. Thank you!
I... can't even believe how little I still know about this software after using it for a year xD That cut in a straight line tool is a godsent, plus turning off the keyboard to piano option to enable keyboard shortcuts, and that was only the first minute!! Thanks as always for your awesome vids!
Been watching lots of your tutorials on youtube on my tv where i am unable to sub,but today i needed help consolidating audio so your tutorial came up and as im on my pc ive put that right,i have to say you presentions are first class professional and very clear, no yo bro yacking on about nothing for the first 2 mins. keep up the great work Tom
Omg I never knew you could consolidate audios so easilyyy.....These past 2 years I've been muting some tracks and exporting the rest so as to save them as whole and to use it as one ........This honestly makes it so much easier woww ... Thanks a lot for this video !
I was working on my album from last 15 days and I was having the same problem.... Thank you so much sir....♥️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🇮🇳... I used to go to audacity and then edit those to make a single one
It's really really great that you put the shortcuts used on the video and the timestamps to go to the different sections of it in the comments section, it's something infinitely useful for all of us watching your videos. Great video as well!!
Oh my god, I was having a problem with the clicking and I didn't know that declicking mode existed. For a work around I had something entirely too complicated in mind and I came to this video looking for something that would've been just a small part of my solution, but that one simple thing at 1:20 fixed my problem completely! Seriously I love you man, thank you so much!
After watching your videos and tinkering (VERY timidly) around with FL for over a year, I finally feel like I'm getting to the point where I can put what I'm learning from you to use! Thank you so much!
"Very basic tutorial" I wouldn't say so... it's been 8 years since I started using FL studio and most of these tricks and shortcuts are unknown to me :D These little things are what separetes pros form advanced users. It's so important not to lose any time when working with music otherwise the inspiration is gone. Knowing all the important shortcuts is essential. Thank you
Hello In The Mix Guy. I don't know you personally but let me tell you I love you. Apart from my wife you are one of the handful of people making my life easier than harder. Thank you a lot and best wishes from Switzerland!

4:17 you could Ctrl + left click on the track header for the tracks that are muted to select them all, then do Alt+Shift+M to unmute them. Great video though! That Ctrl and drag is a gem
I'm a beginner and I'm learning little by little from your videos about this application so much, your videos are really really very helpful, thanks a ton to you for explaining all the little parts in depth 🤗👍🏽
I recommend all your videos to upcoming sound engineers to take their lessons here because it really help me a lot. Thank you very much for your Good work you are doing. I wish to see you among FL studio developers one day.
Consolidating MIDI tracks is the best way of saving memory. I used to mute all tracks except one I want to consolidate and then export the track and import again. Thank you for the tip!
Thanks so much for all of your content, you have my vote for FL Studio community MVP. I bought your Vital presets recently and they are awesome. Thanks again.
Thanks so much bro, you are teaching me almost everything I need to know to be a better producer.. May God Blessed you... LOVE from LIBERIA, West Africa...

I feel so at peace when im producing music and watching your videos, like you are 100% the best producer teacher on youtube for fl studio!

Doesn't work for me, unless I hold both ctrl and shift, then can I click to perform random selection
for me also :D ctrl drag definetly changed my workflow
just hold the button and move it with up and down buttons on your keybord, like that more
it doesn't work for me, if i hold control drag up, it selects other stuff
@@worlarusham you have to click and hold first and then hold down control
