UPDATE: I’m having much more success by applying an extra layer of skincare first, then only using one pump of foundation for the entire face. This means my coverage is lighter but the finish is much better.
I wear prescription Retin A and have been told that going up from 0.05 to 1.0 is unnecessary(it doesn’t make any further difference) for those of us using it for anti aging rather than acne
I agree BK Beauty brushes are fantastic synthetic brushes but nothing beats my Sonia G brushes. They are pricy but wow so worth it. Also Wayne Goss' edit collection. Love your channel ❤
Oh no I bought the Fenty foundation in 170 on Friday and waiting for it to arrive 😮 I’ll let you know if anything works for my but I love my Givenchy powder with all my foundations. I love those cheek tints though they look so good on you 👌
@@hanbeauty101 I got the 101, 109 and 104. Looking at those brands too. I’ve got some good brushes but I’ve had them all for years it’s def time to invest in some new ones - I’m phasing out my fenty ones as they haven’t aged very well
You should try the Danessa Myricks Balm Powder in the t zone where you get oily. I use it with a damp sponge over my foundation or tint in the shade universal or 1 in place of powder and it is a game changer for oily dehydrated skin like me ❤
@hanbeauty101 I'll have to try that one. I love the balm bc it takes the place of powder and doesn't look cakey and controls my oils so well without drying out my skin 🥰 You should try it to set with a damp sponge (except under eyes)
@@DanielleNicoleMakeup funnily enough I got mine out the other day to set, I used a wide dense brush, it also gives great coverage but for me it never dries down and always feels a bit tacky and I feel I need powder on top
As someone with a super cool undertone and a bit yellow of an overtone I also struggle but I do find most cool tones lean a bit more neutral as neutral is way too yellow/peach/orange so I stick with cool undertones. Tarte has exact matches for me but haven't tried Fenty yet. Do you think it's a "dupe" for the Makeup Forever new glowy foundation?
This has saved me some money. No good if it goes cakey with powder. Have you tried the new Sisley phyto teint perfection foundation? That is basically the same as the Louboutin foundation but for oilier skin. Our shade is 0N dawn. Normally about £80, but i got mine on My Origines website for £50 (new)

I think we may be shade twins! What other foundations/shades do you use?

Love the way you film. Nice chat about make-up and your reaction when something is beautiful, wonderful!
It makes me happy🩷
That is so kind of you, thank you so much.
Makeup does bring me so much joy so I’m so glad you enjoy it too. ❤️

I won’t go back up to that again, I’m restarting next month at 0.025 ❤
Thank you for your honest review of the foundation. The blushes are lovely on you, and what a beautiful eye look!
You are welcome! I love the cheek tints. I’m wearing the Chanel Jade Facette eyeshadow ❤
You can mix them together for your perfect shade.
I’ll definitely try that ❤️

BK Beauty are my fav for face brushes, Sonia G and Rephr for eyes. Thank you ❤️

A lot of people get on very well with it so you might find it’s great on you. I’d love to hear how you get on. The cheek tints are stunning ❤
@@hanbeauty101 I’ll keep you posted on how I get on and I’m really into liquid and cream blushes at this time of year so these do look great ❤️
@@emmaroyle719 looking forward to hearing your update. Yes they are beautiful ❤
Just ordered my first 3 BK face brushes as you mentioned the Mother’s Day code which is great thankyou. Excited. Next to research eye brushes……
I love them. Which ones did you get? I love Sonia G and Rephr for my eyes

I love peachy orange shades on my warm skin tone, cool tones look very off on me so will definitely try the rosy peach one 😊

I use the new Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Water Powder Serum in my T-zone, it’s incredible, I don’t get oils coming through even with skin tints ❤

@hanbeauty101 really? I use a damp sponge and it's incredible for me. Too bad. The By Terry Powder is my fav powder tho but $$$
@@DanielleNicoleMakeup I’ll try it with a damp sponge tomorrow ❤️. My fav powder is Givenchy prisme libre
I recommend Dr Sam Vit C serum (it’s new) the only one I can tolerate and it doesn’t lift makeup

It is a similar finish but I find MUFE more reliable and cakes less ❤

I haven’t but at that price I’m now tempted! Just looked on that website they have great prices on the Guerlain perfumes! Thanks for the tip off ❤️

Hi Han. I own all Westman Atelier Baby cheeks. But im interested in the Armani Silk tint cheeks. Do they offer the same look?
