  • I've wanted to do the Pink Rib for a while now, so I asked my lovely friend to come with Riley and myself as she has climbing experience. Having her there to plot a safe route was a godsend. The route we took was to the side of the Pink Rib. it was steep, Heather in places and very rocky. we had to do alot of careful picking our way through and traversing rocks and a gully. At the time i have to say I was terrified at some points of the climb, but when I got on terra ferma it seemed like it had been super easy.
it was an amazing experience and I cant wait to do another Scottish scramble soon.
hope you enjoy the footage I did take, due to the steep ascent I had to keep both hands free for climbing.
    enjoy.
if in doubt just get out 🩷🥾

Wow Emz! Respect to you for completing this scramble route, and for 'feeling the fear and doing it anyway!'🤩🙌. You are so right, sometimes feeling that fear is what makes us feel most alive, within reason of course!😆. You looked so pleased when you got to the top, and the views were spectacular! Bet you were super proud of Riley too🤩. Epic effort all! And what more can we say about the Glen coe area, simply stunning!🥰. Thanks for taking us along.
    Happy weekend!

Love your toe tapping intro 👍Lovely smiley start 😁 great views and a fabulous day weather wise! Gosh it does look steep and being scared of heights you are allowed a wobble or two! Love you got up there with Ruby dangling a jammy dodger infront of you 🤣 Riley did really well, you all did! Shaking like a pooping Labrador 🤣 priceless! Well done 👏 great shots of this fantastic day ❤️

🤣🤣🤣ha yeah and did you notice the bloody jammy dodger was a teeny tiny one when I got up close. ..I thought I was far away from her when she had it dangling off the end of a stick 🤣. Thanks so much for watching. Really appreciate it x

Hats off to you for this one, that was some climb, some height and some scramble too - you both did amazing! The views from the summit were unreal and so worthwhile the effort you had to put in to get there. That looked a great path down and a lot less stressful but I like the fact you said how scared you had been going up and that did not change afterwards as well. I have seen too many people who do climbs like that suddenly change their tune after getting down, saying how easy it was and there's nawt too it etc. Haha, loved the photos at the summit, cheers Alan

Evening Alan. Thank you. Riley was amazing. He was like a mountain goat. And even when I had my little melt down half way up he stayed super calm and just talked to me. Having our friend there she was a huge help. I really want to do more. So if you've any ideas or suggestions on where please let me know. Hey ill always admit when I'm scared. I can't help it 😅. Thanks so much again for watching and the support

Grand views Emz and what a day for it. Don't worry about the pronunciation us south of the border all get them wrong haha. Yes to the right of Ben Nevis were The Mamores, then The Grey Corries then the twin peaks of Stob Coire Easain and Stob a'Choire Mheadhoin. Great to see your confidence growing on steeper ground, I recommend Bauchaille Etive Beag next, it's a good introduction to the Munros in Glencoe, then I'm sure one day you will stand on its big brother, Bauchaille Etive Mor. Take care. Mick.

🤣🤣indeed we do. I always feel bad when I don't pronounce Scottish names correctly on account it gets me when people don't pronounce cheviot right 🤣🤣. Now you mention the mighty buchaille I did it 2 years ago on my own first attempt I tried up the coire but the mist came and I couldn't see passed the end of my nose so the next day I went up The middle from laraig Gartain....I got to the water slab and got stuck. A guy who was coming down offered to take me up past the slab so I managed to get up but only on to the top for a look then he came back down with me 🤣. Ridiculous I know. I'm enjoying pushing myself past my fear at the minute. I really want to do more. So I'm looking for more scrambles to do ones that I won't have to call the boys in red for 😅. Thanks for watching mick 👍 😀
