Thank you so much for your love and support these past 8 seasons friends❤ No matter how this season turned out, I have enjoyed this series fully and I will miss these uploads so much. My love to you all ❤
I think I speak for most of us when I say we appreciate you for taking us on this wild ride with you. Your emotion and insight to the series we all love has been incredible. You are a great reactor and a greater person. It's been quite the journey. Thank you. Blessings to you and your family.
I don't like that tyrion said she was always evil but we didn't see because she killed only evil But what make oters better Every character did something like that Jon kill that kid Arya kill more enimies Sansa killing ramsy brutally Tyrion kill his father and wife I know they all disserve death I just saying what tyrion said was stupid And i am not supporting deanerys But evil is that only her
@@jyothijose7840 Jon executed those who betrayed and literally killed him. Arya killed those who were directly responsible for the death of her brother and mother (note that she spared Frey's wife). Sansa killed a man who brutally tortured and raped her. Tyrion's reason for killing his father is portrayed waaay better in the books but still, he killed Shae who betrayed him, and Tywin who sentenced him despite knowing of his innocence. Notice a pattern here? All these characters' kills are of people who were directly responsible for some evil towards them. Contrast that with Daenerys killing evil people indescriminately because they were 'evil'. The Merereense masters, the Khals, burning the Tarlys for not bending the knee... Now it is debatable whether killing for revenge is 'better' than just killing 'evil people', but there's a definite difference.
Thank you, my friend, for your honest reactions to this show! Your note taking and reviews were superb! I look forward to chatting with you soon. Seven blessings! 💚🥰💚
The ending makes perfect sense. I'm amused by all the hate the ending gets. Everyone fell in love with a show because the beginning told them it would be an unhappy and unpredictable ride, then are upset because it ends the same way.
@@mr.noride7226 he is right. I agree that this season wasnt good but thats because it was rushed so much and not because of general direction of the story. People just want to hate on everything for no real reason
@@amberanubis8336 There are many things that are dumb though. Like Arya killing the Night King randomly when having no past connection with the white walker storyline. Bran doing absolutely nothing and becoming the king. Arya doesn’t use her faceless abilities once in the entire season. Jon Snow only has two lines of dialogue that are “I don’t want it” and “You are muh queen” Jaime ruins his whole character arc with one line and that is “To be honest I never really cared much for them; innocent or otherwise” All Cersei does the entire season is stare through windows and complains about not having elephants. Dany’s dragon Rhaegal gets shot out of nowhere because uh “Dany kinda forgot about the iron fleet” but in the next episode she’s able to wipe out all of Euron’s fleet and the scorpion weapons on the Kings Landing wall without getting hit. Tyrion is as stupid as ever and gives Dany horrible advice. Cersei doesn’t kill Tyrion for some reason when he confronts her at the gate to ask for her to surrender. Now, I do like the idea of Dany becoming mad, but it is poorly executed. Instead of there being an inciting incident to cause her to flip, she burns down the city after they’ve already surrendered. Euron, after losing his whole fleet, just so happens to swim to the same beach that Jaime is at to fight him. Jaime and Cersei die to bricks. Arya finds a horse and appears to be riding out of Kings Landing then the next episode she’s still there and on foot. The Unsullied don’t kill Jon on the spot after he kills Dany for some reason and just keep him prisoner. The Unsullied just let Tyrion and everyone else elect Bran as the king and flee to Naath. Sansa is allowed to rule the North as an independent kingdom and no one else from the other kingdoms care or ask for their kingdoms to be independent as well, especially Yara because she made the pact with Dany to make the Iron Islands independent in the first place. Varys dies underwhelmingly as well. With a boring final council scene, anti-climatic montage of the Starks going separate ways, and an abundance of cock jokes I decree Season 8 to be a Microwaved mess of an ending for what was the greatest show of all time.
Here are some true facts about season 8: 1. HBO was ready to do GoT for 10 seasons or at least have a full-length 8th season with at least 12 episodes 2. Dumb and Dumber didn't want to go through with more episodes because they were offered to write a new Star Wars (they got fired later on and replaced) 3. There was no lack of budget for HBO's hit series 4. Dumb and Dumber are simply terrible writers who could only write scripts based on already written stories (note how the quality dropped after book material ended)
2 is a straight up lie and propaganda. The number of seasons was EXPANDED from 7 to 8 and episodes from 70 to 73 in total, taking into account that S7 is roughly 80% of the length of a standard season and S8 is 75% the length of a standard season. The number of episodes was finalized way before Star Wars. The writers refused to pad out the story just to get more content and turn it into a Walking Dead kind of situation. And it was D&D who bolted out of Star Wars to work on 'The Three Body Problem' series on Netflix. So, why the need to lie like this?
@@SerbAtheist nope, it's a fact.. They were hired to write a new Star Wars film before Game of Throne had ended. The only source that said they "walked away" from it a couple years back was from David Benioff and D. B. Weiss themselves. That's hardly a reliable source. In most cases when writers say they are walking away from a project, it's because the people who hired them don't want them anymore and the writers are given the courtesy of saving face by BS'ing to the media as to why they're "walking away". Also, you mention they refused to "pad out" the show by making more seasons/episodes than what we got. George R. R. Martin said himself in an interview on the red carpet for season 8 that there was enough material to keep going for a few more seasons. Once again Dumb & Dumber thought they knew best and disregarded George, just as they did when they slowly ostracised him from being an influence on the show. Please look up the definition of 'propaganda' before throwing it around, and you should especially get your facts straight before calling people liars. I don't think you're lying, but I do think you're misinformed and assumed that what you were saying was correct.
Daenerys earlier : "I will not be the Queen of Ashes" Dany after : procedes to burn King's landing to Ashes. The morality of the story : Never trust intentions. Things change, opportunities arise, CHAOS IS A LADDER.
You can think of it like this bran couldn’t be lord of anything because he knew he would be king, if you call a king a lord it is an insult to said king 😅😂😂😂 funny statement but it’s true, that’s why davos corrected Danny when she called Jon lord
Just to establish some "facts" about the second part of season 8: Grey Worm becomes Euron Greyjoy. Bronn becomes Petyr Baelish. Varys becomes Ned Stark. Jon becomes Jaime Lannister. Dany becomes Cersei Lannister. Sansa becomes Mance Rayder. Aria becomes Dora the Explorer
Drogon's grief is so powerful! This has never been his war. He's always wanted to go back to Valyria but had to stick by his mom. Even after he saved her from the Masters he refused to take her back. Now he's condemning the throne that he never wanted any part of because it's made him lose everything and everyone he's known. From Daenerys to Jorah to Missandei to Viserion to Rhaegal. He has nothing left except his mother's dead body . Powerful scene!
Daenerys is my queen. And always will be. No matter the ending. Thank you for your reactions, it was a pleasure to watch you experience it. I hope now it's time for House of the Dragon
maybe if he didn't take the throne more people would have died....bran taking the throne 1st the north is free and no war because if somebody took it jon would maybe excuted and that would have started the war...and bran is the 1st character george rr martin wrote about him
I doubt he knew anything about anything. All of this is just random happenings "I can never be lord of anything" -Lord of the six kingdoms. All thought went out the window with the seventh season
@@godemperorofmankind3.091 If we accept that Bran can't do anything with the knowledge of the past/present/future he has as the three-eyed raven, what's the point of making him king? How is he better than any other candidate?
Jon got to do what Ygritte told him he could way back when. "you can fish the streams, hunt the woods, take a woman". Be free. did you notice the ONE blade of grass pushing up? last book of this series is "a Dream of Spring."
It's in that prophecy vision too in season 2 i think. Denaerys sees the iron throne, she touches it, never sits upon it and suddenly she enters a place where she meets khal drogo and her child symbolizing her death and she getting together with drogo and her unborn son once again!
Thank you for these months of work and time and tears and the always fun ring of your bell. You are a true delight and have provided many hours of enjoyment for all of us. Thank YOU, darling Aish! ❤️❤️❤️
Your GOT reactions have hands down been the best I’ve ever seen. I’m so glad we got to go on this journey with you. You had the perfect reactions to both the highs and the lows. The writers completely lost the plot by the final season, but it was cathartic to see you have the same feelings I had while watching it. I’d love to see your take on the behind the scenes of this season as well as some of the actors interviews where they express their disappointment with how it ended. Also, I can’t wait to watch you future reaction videos!
It has been a long journey with you Aishwarya re-watching Game of Thrones with your reactions. I used to wait eagerly for your videos for the past few months. Sad that this journey has come to an end. I'm sure a lot of people share my feeling. Best of luck to you!
I heard someone say that Drogon burned the chair because he saw something pointy sticking out of Daenerys and assumed it was the chair that stabbed her lol
The dragons are smart. It's stated countless times throughout the books. Drogon knew what killed Daenerys. The throne(the conquest to capture it) is what killed Daenerys.
@Darkstar definitely bad writing but even more so that GreyWorm was dead set in justice....but still allowed Jon to go back to the "Wall"... so he obviously forgot those intricate pieces or again more bad writing. Perhaps they supposed to be repairing the wall? Who knows...it was never said, like most things honestly but def agree. They wanted us viewers to believe the Starks had gained the "1 up"
Aishawarya, thank you so much for your incredible reaction series to Game of Thrones. It’s been a wonderful journey full of laughter and tears and having had the chance to rewatch the series from your perspective has been amazing. Really hope you’ve enjoyed it. Excited to see what you plan to react to next ❤❤❤
I realize this is a very unpopular opinion but here goes... With the exception of how the Night King storyline wrapped up this series ended exactly how it should. We learned the Targaryens were the "villains" in the first episode and it was evident as soon as Daenerys took over the Dothraki horde that she was well on her way to becoming a tyrant. She never liberated anyone as much as grew her army so she could take the Iron Throne. That was her sole purpose the entire series. She slowly descended into madness (no surprise) and got what was coming to her. Jon, while having a good heart, is probably the most indecisive person in the entire show. He couldn't lead anything effectively much less the seven kingdoms. Bran, being as cold and logical as a computer, is the perfect person to rule because he'll never make a rash, emotional decision. I totally understand how the fans fell in love with Daenerys but her story was, like most in the series, always supposed to be a tragedy. I know most people completely disagree with me but with the exception of the aforementioned ridiculous conclusion to the White Walkers saga this season went exactly how I thought it would. Still a great show over all.
Sansa's coronation gown : Hands dressing her are those of Michelle Clapton designer- The color of the gown represents the North and House Stark - The weirwood branches and red leaves is homage to the old gods and her brother Bran, - Her right sleeve is layered in fish scales representing and honoring her Mother's house, house Tully. The right sleeve transform into a cut style like Arya's cloak and morphs into a Dire Wolf the sigil of her Father's house, House Stark. The Dire Wolf morphs into a black train representing Jon Snow, it continues down and become dishevel representing her baby brother Rickon. Sansa's collar represents her Father Ned Stark,- The crown represents Robb. Sansa's chain connects to her needle which is her bond with her sister Arya and the chain represents Sansa's years of bondage. The fabric of the gown and the style of the sleeves is the one thing that honors the only non Stark, Margaery Tyrell. Sansa's necklace ( not shown here ) is a circle representing unity and continuance worn since S5 on. Per Michele Clapton.
Drogon burned the throne because he knew that was the real reason Dany died. Brianne filling in Jaimes part of the book literally broke me the most somehow, as well as the ending due to the fact that it’s done and over. One of the best stories in the world honestly… over and done 😭
@Darkstar no, it’s people like you who choose to ignore some good symbolism even if your characters didn’t end up the way you want even if a lot of the writing wasn’t good. Dragons are more intelligent than people, and also with that experience emotion, the symbolism of the throne being the issue of the entire show is legitimate because it IS. And him taking out his anger on the thing that drove her to death makes complete sense. What you wanted it burned with her still trying to get it…?!
great series of reactions!!! they missed everything when they DIDN'T make drogon spit fire on Jon making it going through him and melting the throne and not him cuz you know..! that scene would have been so sick!!!! when dany died, drogon's screams should have alerted at least some guards or grey worm, maybe even tyrion and arya to step in and watch jon not being burning in dragon fire, emerging through it butt naked just like dany had before. They would have know hes the TRUE DRAGON and is the king. everything else could have been the same, bran could have been the master of whisperers keeping an eye on everything that happening and has happened. Tyrion could have been the hand of course! sansa, the queen or wardeness of the north.
I enjoyed watching your GOT reactions so much! I agree with the reasoning that Drogon burned the Iron Throne because he saw it as responsible for all the misery and corruption, including his mother's that eventually led to her demise. He realized Jon had to do it and blamed the throne for it. Can't wait to see your reactions to House of the Dragon!
You have our sympathies for having to go through this last season. And the reason they gave us fewer episodes in season 7-8 was because the showrunners were getting tired of the show and got an offer from Star Wars to work on a trilogy so they wanted to rush everything to get to that and instead of just giving the show to other people, they wanted to take all the credit and finish the story themselves. It was an ego problem
That's just wrong. They always had 7 seasons planed.Star Wars theory is obviously bs because they quit not Disney. The truth is that there wasn't enough source material after season 4. The showrunners did agood job to adapt a series of books, which according to Martin himself were written especially to be unadaptable. But Martin wrote himself into so many corners. It's been 10 years and we still wait for WoW. There was only one solution to this mess. Martin should have helped the writers but he bailed after season 4 to finish WoW lol.
@@pulpficti "quitting" is always the face saving option afforded b4 firing. The UK PM Liz Truss just resigned today, do you think she also did this voluntarily or was forced out? Pointing to the "official line" as the proof that discredits the idea that disney got cold feet is not the "case closed" you seem to think it is.
@@bernard6255 they got a 200 million deal with Netflix and they couldn't do both. Kennedy herself acknowledged that. That's what I mean. We can't talk about what wasn't good or bad with the writing because people always talk about bs. It's like people need an enemy and I guess the showrunners are an easy target? It's so boring
I have been on this path with you since Season 1x1 and looked forward to each reaction. Your overviews, opinion and honest emotions are second to none that I have seen and I have watched many. I love how you express everyone's feelings at what happened at that absurd council. It really defies all logic and all political reality of Westeros. Well done to the writers, no-one could have devised a worse ending for this series.
@@godemperorofmankind3.091 because you maybe understand the characters and the world's internal consistency better? You would know that Dorne and the Iron Islands were independent and fought for independence far longer than the North to accept the ridiculous arrangement they accept for Sansa. You would know that no House in the Reach would accept a random like Bronn as ruler. You would know Jon's heritage would not be ignored. You would know that Arya killing the night king makes no narrative sense. You would know that Jamie returning to Cersei is killing his character development. You would know that Euron Greyjoy is a cartoon compared to his book counterpart. I'm not a writer but as a reader I know what a good story looks like, and season 8 wasn't it.
@@bluehope42 dorne has not been a united kingdom longer than iron islands or the north. the iron islands is consistently portrayed as stupid idiots for attempting independence when their sole advantage is in their fleet. the north is culturally different from the rest of westeros and unconquerable by outsiders. its too big and too wild. even fucking Cersie knew that one. dorne is under an entirely new family after the last one, House Martell, got exterminated. he has to earn legitimacy and loyalty first, before he ever thinks of ruling it as an independent monarch.

I found this as emotionally charged as you did and that's what matters to me the most. Your GoT journey was very memorable! It was a pleasure to watch! I don't know if you've already done it in patreon so this might be redundant, but if you haven't then you should definitely react to House of the Dragon. I have really enjoyed the show.
of all the GoT reactions I have seen, yours is right up there with the best of them. Watching you take this journey has been so much fun. I hope more people find your channel because your reactions are better than most.
I will miss you my dear. One of my favorite reactors ever. Unfortunately I'm not into most of the trash that isn't game of thrones. Hope you watch House the Dragon:)
Bear in mind that this was always the supposed ending with few minor differences. Danny saw this burnt version of iron throne hall in season 1. The issue was the speed at which they showed it. As George RR Martin said , if story of season 8 was portrayed in 3 more seasons , if would have made much sense and we all would have understood her state of mind and intentions of all other characters. We just could not digest that she lost her mind overnight.
"a few minor differences" Believe me, it's a whole lot more than a few minor differences George himself has said in his blog semi recently that quite a lot will be different in the books, which is where they got the idea for the ending from
Ive seen this finale 100 times. This is the first time i cried.. you made me cry. I always loved your reactions because you were a real fan. You werent just reacting, you were a fan. I apreciete it. I recomend Attack on Titan. You shoukd make a poll, it will blow up in the 90%+
When I first watched the show I was like you I didn't understand the choice of making Bran king. Because we followed the journey of all these character and Bran's was not the most exciting we don't understand that choice, but rewatching it I really understand the logical choice there, he has powers, he has a good story without bloodshed, he don't want the throne and I think those who don't want it knows what it means, and by the way he said "Why do you think I came all the way here" because he forsaw he would be chosen to be king, and if people want him to be king he will do what he has to do
Dany *was* a tyrant .. from the very beginning. It was only her counsel that kept her dark impulses in check. Note the things she did when she didn't have them: Burning the House of the Undying, Murdering all the Khals, Massacring the Masters, and ultimately (after losing Missandei) burning King's Landing. She was *never* a good person, she only got good results (freeing slaves). We only liked her because she was beautiful and had baby dragons... But never forget, she was also a Dragon. She was magnificent. She was brutal. She had a fiery temper. She burned bright and burned out. From the very beginning, she acted like she was entitled to the throne and manipulated *everyone* around her to achieve her goals. She even said - very early on - that the people would bow to her or burn.... this is not the mark of a stable ruler. Brilliant writing for her character, honestly... making us love a brutal tyrant
This guy watched it and got it. Not a "i'm team X" person. But it's fine, being a "i'm a team X" person is a great part of the narrative of Game of Thrones, and where it leads ultimately.
I think they kind of tricked Grey Worf with sentencing Jon to join Night Watch. Night Watch isn't actually needed any more so he can become leader of the men behind the wall.
3:34 Also in the vision, the throne room is destroyed. It still makes me upset to think just how good Dany's turn would've been if they just gave the last 2 seasons time to breathe. Instead, we got 30 episodes worth of material stuffed into 13 episodes.
I didn´t saw this reaction. In my world you just finished the first season. But i am impressed by your reaction so far. I love your smile, your laughter. I feel your sadness with you and i have to fight not to cry with you. In addition you are very smart, its a pleasure to listen to your suggestions. I LOVE it when you are angry and over all i love to listen to your voice. Really. Thank you very much Mam. Greetings from germany.
Not sure what hurts more. Watching my fave show destroyed by bad writing, or watching someone who clearly enjoyed this as much as I did until the last couple of seasons feel the same way.
I think the books will end ' bitter sweet' by the 3 eyed raven taking the throne through bran but we'll see in the books how the children/ 3 eyed crow orchestrated events to ensure the others were destroyed and they can assume power (i.e they're sending the lord of light visions/voices in the flames). Sweet ending= starks on the thrones and cersi defeated, bitter = it was all orchestrated for the ' old gods' to take control of the seven kingdoms.
Arya had a small part in killing 'The Queen ' by talking to Jon before he went to talk to Dany. Not sure if she gave him the dagger or not. But her words seem to help Jon snap out of it a bit. That and when in Danys speech she mentioned Winterfell (not The North, but Winterfell), Jon kind of 'snaps out of it a bit" like Ned, he chose his Family over his honor by killing her. Trust me hun, it took me a few years to come to terms with what happened. My guess is since Drogon was seen flying East, maybe the Red Priestess that spoke to them with the gorgeous eyes, will revive her? Who knows, maybe she will show up in the 'Snow' sequel. (Wishful thinking hopefully a changed person, back to sweet Dany we fell in love with. Disclaimer: this is my thoughts, wishes, opinion, so haters, be kind....we all have our thoughts. My girl Arya going off to explore parts unknown is the perfect way to see her end the series. Sailing to freedom and discovery with a smile on her face. It's what I would want for my Daughter

The show runners always planned for 7 seasons; HBO asked for ten, they settled on 6 full and 2 split seasons. If they added 2 or 3 more episodes between 7 and 8 and expanded on Bran and Dany's story line and kept some of the cutscenes it be ranked higher.
IN THE SHOW! Bran didn't want to fall from the tower. Bran didn't want to travel north to see the 3 eyed Raven. Bran didn't want to become the 3 eyed Raven. Bran didn't want Hodor to die. He didn't want to be bait for the Knight King. Bran didn't want to be King..........., but it was all his destiny. He knew this. This is why he couldn't be a lord of anything. Jorgen Reed explained to him how important he was all along. "Without Bran we are all lost" he said. It was all alluded to if you listen to his storyline carefully.
So many bad decisions written into the last season but destroying Dany, making Bran King and banishing John?? The worst possible ending of the best series of all time! Absolutely everything about the last 2 episodes was a betrayal to the series and to us. But thank you for making all of your videos! I've really enjoyed watching with you 🥰
@@frankiefranks1560 Dany becoming "mad" is literally what i wanted and used to expect earlier in the series. Its not just "you didnt get what you wanted" lol, its just that is was terribly written
Some of the actors like Charles Dance (Tywin) spoke out against the ending. Others like Conleth Hill (Varys) you can see clips of his massive disappointment when he read the script for season 8, and others again like Ian Mcelhinney (Barristan Selmy) were shocked to find out how his role was cut compared to the books. I don't know how contracts works for HBO, but I hope that in the future they take into account and have backup plans if the show runners for a particular show suffers burnout and just decides to end a show of their own accord. Both GRRM and HBO wanted more seasons, and I don't know if it was ego or something else that prevented D&D to pass the torch to one or more of the talented directors they worked with for GoT like say Miguel Sapochnik or Alan Taylor.
I have thoroughly enjoyed your reactions to this incredible series! I live alone, and I work several jobs, so I hardly get to see and spend time with my friends and family. Watching this with you made me feel like I was watching with a friend. Your intelligence, humor, and empathy have set you above others who review the show. And now that your “watch” has ended, I look forward to watching House of the Dragon with you. Indian Calypso: Long may she reign! ❄️🔥
Are you open to suggestions? I recommend watching The 100, it's about a post apocalyptic future where the only human survivors are the ones that were on space during the nuclear war, and after generations they attempt to get back to earth
I have always been ok with the series ending, not perfect but nothing is. In previous episode I always thought at time of bell ringing, just when Drogon is going to take off, Dany gives a grimace and takes a deep breath. My interpretation was that she was going to do something hard to do, I see it as a Harrenthal creation same as Aegon1 did, Monument to what happens when you go against the Ruler. This is a world that is " Ruled ", by love or fear. Cersei basically ruled by fear as well, so Dany had to go bigger or go away. Also thought would have been neat that when Jon knives Dany's heart, that they both die due to their mystical connection. Drogon burns throne, then flies away with both of them, one in each claw.
Indian Calypso, you are a wonderful person. Your empathy with all the characters has been amazing. Thank you very much for all your reactions. I watched the show for a 2nd time and saw clues that explained what happened with Daenarys. Fun fact: those children walking with Jon Snow at the very end, a couple of them were the children of some of the producers.
@UC_hnJNj5POo-Crj8F-0j3yQ seeing Daenerys as a failed hero was more wishful thinking. As you mentioned, her judgements were sometimes harsh and her advisors changed her mind. The Drogo/Daenerys scene to me was just as a way of dispose of her body. Same thing with choosing Bran as the King. He never expressed a desire of being King. He is also kind of weird because of the 3 eyed Raven thing. Probably is more a philosophical conclusion, making the source of all the history in charge of their future.
1.Drogon's cry broke me. That was hard. 2. Bran said he will never be a lord, because he knew he will be king.😆 3. Loved how Bryanne finished Jamie's story that started bad and terribly short. Epic.

LOL... Sansa has the support of the north, that's clear in the show, she has the support of House Arryn too and more than likely the Riverlands. Jon and Bran abdicated, Sansa got the north ready and protected them as well as could be done; we also know ( even if they cut the scene ) she saved some by killing a undead along with Tyrion, those survivors will talk of Sansa saving them; Cersei made a point of it about her cackling hens saying how she protected them in the holdfast. No the north took her as the Stark in Winterfell.
I would have never bet on Bran to be king, but what Tyrion said make sense. Bran knows the history. He saw the mistakes, the horrors and the wrong that lead to atrocities. With his vision, his entourange can help him to rule in peace and build a better world. I'm not saying that Westeros will be at peace forever, but at least, it will be as long as Bran is king
I think the problem is not even if he will be a good king, it just that it didn't had a build up and goes against what he said before about not wanting to be lord. It's just like Arya being the one who talks about keeping the family together and yet being the only one to leave Westeros in the end.
enjoyed sharing the journey with you.. more fun to see some one react to the things they never have seen but we were all anticipating.. loved your emotions and honesty
I always saw it as ‚she is a killer who can kill him, Jon ,who Dany loves and sees as a rival and family. The people of Kings Landing are just casualties of the war.‘
@@user-bk9bs3oc8c in my opinion u watched the got after knowing her mad like many of my friends but I didn't know so I liked her and Jon I have never seen why would she kill him because she has only him who can help her build her house because incest is very common in targaryen family
Brilliant! Definitely at the top of the list of reactors to GOT. I refuse to comment (as many have done) about the good, bad or indifferent story writing of the last season or two. I do however applaud HER. She has shown a clear understanding of what was in front of her and presented her opinions with dignity and grace. We as viewers cannot ask for anything more than that. Be well Lovely Lady. I look forward to your reactions to the new show. TC.
When Drogon was trying to wake up Dany that broke me! And him burning the throne was so important. Drogon burned the iron throne because he knew that it cost him everything, he knew his mun and his 2 brothers died because that throne. Tyrion did say that dragons might be smarter than humans.
This was one HELL of a ride with you!! Watching this from Season 1 with you was amazing. Will miss your GoT reactions but I'm SO looking forward to House of the Dragon now!!! You absolute rockstar ⭐
I've enjoyed watching your reactions to GoT. All the issues aside with the last few seasons, the series finale made me deeply sad (still) that Drogon is now alone. He lost his brothers and his mom. That bit where he nudges Dany's body is truly heartbreaking. Second, Arya and Jon's goodbye makes me tear up every time. I remember folks being underwhelmed by their reunion which is true in some respects but they [Jon and Arya] have a track record where their goodbyes hit you in the feels so that final one was very on brand for them. Lastly, the one correct prediction I had was that Jon would end up back up North. He never struck me as a king or a Lord. Interestingly, when I first started the series, Jon was one of my least favorite characters. Over time, I fell in love with his character.
Exactly.. When i started watchin got last year, i got lucky i didnt wait for a year to see another season. I finished in 6 days the whole seasons. For me, my least character is tyrion but i ended became his fan. Jon snow character is lit..
"everywhere she goes, evil men die and we cheer her for it" i hate this line with all my heart. it's basically the writers saying that we are guilty for cheer the end of slavery, because she killed **slave masters**, it's like we are guilty for being happy that she didn't agree with all those khals that were about to rape her. the writers keep finding ways to tells us that this was always her nature, but there's no natural progression between killing slavers and rapist to burn an entire city full of innocents.
Ah, you forget two things: First, it was she who instigated violence against the slave masters, not the other way around. And it was her who started insulting and threatening the khals before they ever suggested she get gangraped in lieu of becoming Dosh Khaleen. You say there is no natural progression between killing slavers and burning an entire city of innocents. Have you EVER opened a frikkin' history book? The French revolution, the communist purges, so many other examples... there is a CLEAR progression between violence and cruelty against 'evil people' and against civilians. To give just one example, do you think Hiroshima and Nagasaki were justified, for example? Several hundred thousand people were murdered in those blasts. Some would call it genocide. Oh, the Japanese were absolutely nasty, arguably even worse than Nazi's themselves. But that is the problem. It's frighteningly easy to convince yourself that even the bloodiest forms of vengeance are justifiable. S8E5 is the closest real-life depiction of the reality of war.
@@SerbAtheist never thought I would see someone defend slavery and rape in a single take, lol. so you're telling me that she was supposed to let things be? so she was the one who "instigated violence" against slave masters who were buying and selling human beings already?? for each unsullied there was a dead baby (part of their training). missandei was 5 when they took her from her home and killed her entire family. grey worm was born to be castrated and to become a soldier. but yeah, dany instigated violence when she decided to stop this "culture". poor slave masters 😭 "it was her who started insulting and threatening the khals", they literally kidnapped her and made her walk through miles while they were wiping her back (please, watch 5x10, 6x1, 6x3 and 6x4 again). the old Dosh Khaleen told Dany that she could be punished for going to explore the world and that she would have to have faith about what the khals would decide to do to her. it was only later in the episode that they made an **audience** about what they were going to do with a woman (seriously, the way people try to defend this is insane), and they were throwing insults and literally saying that she had no saying about her own life. so rape is justifiable when someone is throwing insults at you? get some help. khal Moro step up and was going towards her while he was saying those horrible things, it was self defense. your argument doesn't make a point cause the bomb of Hiroshima and Nagasaki killed thousands of **civilians** for no greater cause (USA being USA). you can say that the Japanese soldiers were evil just like the Nazis, but we are talking about innocent civilians. i keep my point, there is no natural progression between doing something to end an oppressive system for a greater cause (killing Nazis and abolishing slavery) and to kill thousands of innocents for no reason at all. when slavery was abolished, thousands died, and while some former masters and the government would would actually fight against slavery, some other countries would defend it with all it's strength (the confederate flag is a great example). so you're telling me that by wanting to abolish slavery, they were the one who were instigating violence aswell? lol
@@Nihilanth 'so you're telling me that she was supposed to let things be?' No, I'm telling you she was an active participant in the conflict between them. Most people consider these men guilty not just by virtue of their actions and their culture, but literally based on the conflict between them and Dany that she herself started in both cases. 'so she was the one who "instigated violence" against slave masters who were buying and selling human beings already?' Yes, she very much instigated the violence. The fact they were slave masters is irrelevant. They treated her like a legitimate trading partner and made a fair deal with her. She chose to renege on her side of the bargain, kill them and burn their city down. Whether this course of action justifiable is up for debate, but who instigated the violence isn't. In the books Dany kills all boys in Astapor past the age of 12. So literally, she groups barely pubescent 13 year olds right alongside lifelong slavers. 'they literally kidnapped her and made her walk through miles while they were wiping her back' Again, Dany is the one who identified with the Dothraki culture, you know, the bloodthirsty patriarchal culture of genocidal rapists. You can't say you're a khalese, then not follow what is expected of a khalese. 'your argument doesn't make a point cause the bomb of Hiroshima and Nagasaki killed thousands of *civilians* for no greater cause (USA being USA)' You're literally proving my point. The Japanese army acted in monstrous ways, so the US literally took it out on hundreds of thousands of civilians while touting that it was for the CAUSE of ending the war and saving the lives of American soldiers. If the US, a modern-day democratic nation that prides on its superior morality, can do such a thing, what do you think a jilted medieval ex-heir to the Iron Throne with three dragons is capable of doing? ' there is no natural progression between doing something to end an oppressive system for a greater cause (killing Nazis and abolishing slavery) and to kill thousands of innocents for no reason at all.' Of course there is. It's easy to get riled up over someone you believe is the enemy and then acquire the moral self-righteousness that makes it easy to treat this enemy mercilessly and in the last step also take it out on anyone even remotely connected to this enemy. This is exactly what happened to Dany. The citizens of KL, by virtue of flocking to Cersei, became her enemy. She regarded them as 'free men/people' who made their choice and were thus legitimate targets. 'so you're telling me that by wanting to abolish slavery, they were the one who were instigating violence aswell? lol' Yeah, tell me what happened afterwards. Did blacks get equal rights or did the North cynically bring South back into the political fold by throwing the newly freed slaves under the bus? Look at the Unsullied. They are now 'free' to do the exact same thing they would have done had they been purchases by an actual slave owner. The choice to use violence to end slavery can be a legitimate one, but it must be the main objective, and not merely a ruse to acquiring greater power, like in Dany's case. I select you watch this brilliant movie called 'Manderlay' for a further and deeper exploration of these themes.
@@Nihilanth Oh, good for you! Being against slavery is such a BOLD stance to take in the 21st century. Next thing you're gonna tell me is that men and women should be equal!
It took you 8 months to finish watching the series..me and thousands of others took almost 9 years, and despite not having a great ending, we all suffered a lot with the end of GOT. Congratulations to everyone who waited to watch one episode a week until they finished ten episodes (one season) plus the year-long, peak waits for a new season to follow. It is to be praised who loved such a formidable series... Now House of the Dragons is being very, very bombastic... they learned from some mistakes that tarnished very little GOT.
Thank you so much for your love and support these past 8 seasons friends❤ No matter how this season turned out, I have enjoyed this series fully and I will miss these uploads so much. My love to you all ❤
I would've loved John Snow or John Targaryean on the throne lol. Hope you watch House of the Dragon next!! Enjoy!!
I really hope you can react to the series House Of The Dragon, which is a prequel to Game Of Thrones
I think I speak for most of us when I say we appreciate you for taking us on this wild ride with you. Your emotion and insight to the series we all love has been incredible. You are a great reactor and a greater person. It's been quite the journey. Thank you. Blessings to you and your family.

Tyrion: " You killed hundreds of thousands of innocent lives"
Dany: " I can only count to 20"
more criminals than innocents
I don't like that tyrion said she was always evil but we didn't see because she killed only evil
But what make oters better
Every character did something like that
Jon kill that kid
Arya kill more enimies
Sansa killing ramsy brutally
Tyrion kill his father and wife
I know they all disserve death
I just saying what tyrion said was stupid
And i am not supporting deanerys
But evil is that only her
Tch tch, you clearly dont know a killer when you see one
@@jyothijose7840
Jon executed those who betrayed and literally killed him.
@Cannibal Teddy i am not talking dany is good
She is pure evil
But everyone did something like that everytime
Jon: " You are my queen, now and always"
Inner Jon: "The Lannisters send their regards"

Drogon really said: " If my mama can't have it, nobody can!"
Absolutely & I think maybe he realized her relentless pursuit of the thrown ultimately was her demise.
Trusting Tyrion was her demise!
This series is just like my rushed essays, they start so interesting and end up making no sense
That is so relatable lol!
The ending makes perfect sense. I'm amused by all the hate the ending gets. Everyone fell in love with a show because the beginning told them it would be an unhappy and unpredictable ride, then are upset because it ends the same way.
@@Thomas-kj1fk You’re nuts
Here are some true facts about season 8:
1. HBO was ready to do GoT for 10 seasons or at least have a full-length 8th season with at least 12 episodes
2. Dumb and Dumber didn't want to go through with more episodes because they were offered to write a new Star Wars (they got fired later on and replaced)
3. There was no lack of budget for HBO's hit series
4. Dumb and Dumber are simply terrible writers who could only write scripts based on already written stories (note how the quality dropped after book material ended)
👌
2 is a straight up lie and propaganda.
The number of seasons was EXPANDED from 7 to 8 and episodes from 70 to 73 in total, taking into account that S7 is roughly 80% of the length of a standard season and S8 is 75% the length of a standard season. The number of episodes was finalized way before Star Wars. The writers refused to pad out the story just to get more content and turn it into a Walking Dead kind of situation. And it was D&D who bolted out of Star Wars to work on 'The Three Body Problem' series on Netflix.
So, why the need to lie like this?
Except to my understanding they still had plenty of material they could use, they simply chose not to.
Almost all lies.

Perhaps if you think about it you can see Bran's hand in the whole series
Also it makes little sense to have a stark on the iron throne if the North is a separate kingdom. He is a foreigner !
Dany meets Night King
Dany: Night King?
Night King: Did you do it?
Dany: Yes.
Night King: And what did it cost?
Dany: Everything...
Love how Tyrion was slightly offended that Jon had a better quip on Duty then he did. Lol
The council planned it right. They knew there was no more Night's Watch. This was Jon being free....they outsmarted Grey Worm
They wanted us viewers to believe the Starks had gained the "1 up"
Sad to know the journey is over. Then again HOTD awaits... 😍

It’s been a wonderful journey full of laughter and tears and having had the chance to rewatch the series from your perspective has been amazing. Really hope you’ve enjoyed it. Excited to see what you plan to react to next ❤❤❤
Your reaction to Bran becoming king.. exactly!
Ser Davos to Greyworm: "Start your own house with the unsullieds as your bannermen."
Greatest line of the show!
"Davos kind of forgot that the Unsullied are eunuchs"
Wait till you find the real reason behind this scene
great series of reactions!!!
they missed everything when they DIDN'T make drogon spit fire on Jon making it going through him and melting the throne and not him cuz you know..!
that scene would have been so sick!!!!
when dany died, drogon's screams should have alerted at least some guards or grey worm, maybe even tyrion and arya to step in and watch jon not being burning in dragon fire, emerging through it butt naked just like dany had before. They would have know hes the TRUE DRAGON and is the king.
everything else could have been the same, bran could have been the master of whisperers keeping an eye on everything that happening and has happened. Tyrion could have been the hand of course! sansa, the queen or wardeness of the north.
A dagger killed Drogon's mom, so Drogon melted the dagger's mom.
Thank you for sharing this with us. It was so great to be able to watch this great show again through fresh eyes.
See you in HOTD
Grey Worm: "you are not here to speak"

It was an ego problem
...and the irony is they lost the star wars gig primarily as a result of the backlash from their subpar finish to the series.
Well that worked well
@@pulpficti "quitting" is always the face saving option afforded b4 firing. The UK PM Liz Truss just resigned today, do you think she also did this voluntarily or was forced out? I have been on this path with you since Season 1x1 and looked forward to each reaction. Your overviews, opinion and honest emotions are second to none that I have seen and I have watched many.
Thank you for the hours of enjoyment. But your journey does not end here and I look forward to continuing the path with you. Hail Queen Aishwarya!!!
I love how you express everyone's feelings at what happened at that absurd council. It really defies all logic and all political reality of Westeros. Well done to the writers, no-one could have devised a worse ending for this series.
whats yours then? it better be good, given your self confidence. ill fact check
@@godemperorofmankind3.091 you'll fact check? Lol. I bet you haven't even read the books.
@@bluehope42 what does that have to do with crafting a better ending to the show?
@@bluehope42 dorne has not been a united kingdom longer than iron islands or the north.
the iron islands is consistently portrayed as stupid idiots for attempting independence when their sole advantage is in their fleet.
the north is culturally different from the rest of westeros and unconquerable by outsiders. its too big and too wild. even fucking Cersie knew that one.
dorne is under an entirely new family after the last one, House Martell, got exterminated. he has to earn legitimacy and loyalty first, before he ever thinks of ruling it as an independent monarch.
enjoyed watching you on your got journey. you have such a delightful personality. never liked seeing you cry, but many of us wept with you. thank you for sharing you got reactions.
Don't be sad because it's over.
Smile because it happened.
I always loved how John was not running away as he expected Drogon to kill him as a punishment.
I recently started watching ur reactions to GoT (around a month ago) and I watched every sinlge reaction and recently caught up during this last season and oh boy what a journey thank you so much for being you, sharing ur emotions crying and getting angry/happy over this show and publishing it for us, Loved it!! Im definitely staying watching other shows you react to aswell:)
Tyrion at the end in the chair of his father, adopting the exactly same pose and hand movement is priceless
Sincerely, I can't believe how fast the time went to get here. Incredible journey viewing with you. Looking forward to more...
That scene where Bran warged into a Dragon and battled the Night King for 35 minutes was EPIC!
Oh wait.. 😟
He can't warg into Dragons.
I found the scene after that more fun. Ya know, that epic sword fight between Jon Snow and the Night King
of all the GoT reactions I have seen, yours is right up there with the best of them. Watching you take this journey has been so much fun. I hope more people find your channel because your reactions are better than most.
There’s a good behind the scenes table cast read for S8, shows the real reactions some of the cast 😂
Yes...Jon, Arya, Varys & Dany. Well worth watching Aish
"a few minor differences"
Believe me, it's a whole lot more than a few minor differences
George himself has said in his blog semi recently that quite a lot will be different in the books, which is where they got the idea for the ending from
Ive seen this finale 100 times. This is the first time i cried.. you made me cry.
I always loved your reactions because you were a real fan. You werent just reacting, you were a fan. I apreciete it.
I recomend Attack on Titan. You shoukd make a poll, it will blow up in the 90%+
100%!!! AOT is probably my favorite show ever 😅
@@frankspike4062 I mean she watched, even encouraged her brother’s gruesome death solely because he was in her way… she was not a good person
Top to bottom, front to back, phenomenal reactions. Thanks for bringing us along!
Finally someone sees it
I have read an interpretation that Drogon burned the Iron Throne because he was resentful about all the hurt caused in pursuit of the Iron Throne.
How did Jon understand the speech in High Valerian?
@@stevencolatrella3257 He just heard ' Winterfell to Dorne... Lannister port to somewhere'. It doesn't take any genius to figure out her intentions after what she has done in king's landing.
Also I thought she was speaking Dothraki. She started her speech by saying moon of my moons.
@@stevencolatrella3257 I don't think he did, he understood her tone in her voice. But maybe , a guess, her and her soldiers got ready to go to Winterfell, went to Winterfell, fought a war there, and was there after... could be he heard it enough that he knew the translation? Poetic license and as SpongeBob says "I-m-a-g-i-n-a-t-i-o'-n" as a 🌈 appears over his head. 😁🙃😁
Example, I don't know a lot of Czech that my Grampy taught me some before he died when I was five. But I can recognize a Czech 🇨🇿 word, last name, and pay attention.
The show runners always planned for 7 seasons; HBO asked for ten, they settled on 6 full and 2 split seasons.
If they added 2 or 3 more episodes between 7 and 8 and expanded on Bran and Dany's story line and kept some of the cutscenes it be ranked higher.
It’s been a wonderful ride with you. Hope you will continue on with reactions ❤
I've really enjoyed watching with you 🥰
Why because it's not what you wanted 😂😂
@@frankiefranks1560 Dany becoming "mad" is literally what i wanted and used to expect earlier in the series.
Its not just "you didnt get what you wanted" lol, its just that is was terribly written
@@frankiefranks1560 😆🖕
Dany will most likely have the same fate in the books too! She will never get the throne I dont think it's her destiny
being a Dany Stan is like:
50% hating it cause it didn't make sense
50% loving it cause she served during that speech
Thank you, Calypso.
I wish you good fortune in the reactions to come.
2. Bran said he will never be a lord, because he knew he will be king.😆
3. Loved how Bryanne finished Jamie's story that started bad and terribly short. Epic.
You’ll love House of the Dragon. Totally different and the writing and actors are superb. Beware the time jumps.
Jon - King beyond the wall.
Sansa - Queen in the North

"One thing I can say, in general enough terms that I will not be spoiling anything: not all of the characters who survived until the end of Game of Thrones will survive until the end of A Song of Ice and Fire, and not all of the characters who died on Game of Thrones will die in A Song of Ice and Fire... You barely need a functional brain to recognize writing this bad lmao
What? it wasnt the hollywood ending and i commend the makers for not giving in.
It was a real life ending, the end justifies the end for the greater good has been behind a fat chunk of the genocides of history.

Sansa: "Northmen will never kneel again... except to me. The one they DIDN'T choose"

I took it that Drogon melted the Iron Throne because he understood that his mom was dead because of her obsession over the iron throne.
@@SerbAtheist never thought I would see someone defend slavery and rape in a single take, lol.
so you're telling me that she was supposed to let things be?
so she was the one who "instigated violence" against slave masters who were buying and selling human beings already?? for each unsullied there was a dead baby (part of their training).
missandei was 5 when they took her from her home and killed her entire family.
grey worm was born to be castrated and to become a soldier.
but yeah, dany instigated violence when she decided to stop this "culture". poor slave masters 😭
"it was her who started insulting and threatening the khals", they literally kidnapped her and made her walk through miles while they were wiping her back (please, watch 5x10, 6x1, 6x3 and 6x4 again).
the old Dosh Khaleen told Dany that she could be punished for going to explore the world and that she would have to have faith about what the khals would decide to do to her.
it was only later in the episode that they made an **audience** about what they were going to do with a woman (seriously, the way people try to defend this is insane), and they were throwing insults and literally saying that she had no saying about her own life. so rape is justifiable when someone is throwing insults at you? get some help.
khal Moro step up and was going towards her while he was saying those horrible things, it was self defense.
your argument doesn't make a point cause the bomb of Hiroshima and Nagasaki killed thousands of **civilians** for no greater cause (USA being USA). you can say that the Japanese soldiers were evil just like the Nazis, but we are talking about innocent civilians.
i keep my point, there is no natural progression between doing something to end an oppressive system for a greater cause (killing Nazis and abolishing slavery) and to kill thousands of innocents for no reason at all.
when slavery was abolished, thousands died, and while some former masters and the government would would actually fight against slavery, some other countries would defend it with all it's strength (the confederate flag is a great example).
so you're telling me that by wanting to abolish slavery, they were the one who were instigating violence aswell? lol
@@Nihilanth 'so you're telling me that she was supposed to let things be?'
No, I'm telling you she was an active participant in the conflict between them. Most people consider these men guilty not just by virtue of their actions and their culture, but literally based on the conflict between them and Dany that she herself started in both cases.
'so she was the one who "instigated violence" against slave masters who were buying and selling human beings already?'
Yes, she very much instigated the violence.
'they literally kidnapped her and made her walk through miles while they were wiping her back'
Again, Dany is the one who identified with the Dothraki culture, you know, the bloodthirsty patriarchal culture of genocidal rapists. You can't say you're a khalese, then not follow what is expected of a khalese.
'your argument doesn't make a point cause the bomb of Hiroshima and Nagasaki killed thousands of *civilians* for no greater cause (USA being USA)'
You're literally proving my point.
' there is no natural progression between doing something to end an oppressive system for a greater cause (killing Nazis and abolishing slavery) and to kill thousands of innocents for no reason at all.'
Of course there is.
'so you're telling me that by wanting to abolish slavery, they were the one who were instigating violence aswell? lol'
Yeah, tell me what happened afterwards.
@@SerbAtheist i stop reading in "the fact they were slave masters is irrelevant". ain't gonna discuss with slavers and rapists sympathizers
