Razer 16 has 2 panel options.. Also the Dual Mode Mini LED panel - with 1000 nits brightness.. Loving how thorough your reviews are. Having lived in the US for a number of years.. I really miss not having the likes of Best Buy or Microcenter here in the UK!
Brought one immediately upgraded to Samsung 990 pro m.2 bios doesn't fully support which is crap if you want to install your own windows. but overall happy with purchase
Are you sure the Dolby software enhancements were enabled during speaker test (try changing them...)? Sound quality indeed was surprisingly poor...
Could not tune in during the live session. Is the Aorus 15 9kf(i5 12500h, rtx4060) a good deal at $778 US ?
Where are the temperatures in the benchmarks?
I had a prev Aero 17 HDR (3080 series), now I own an Asus 18g 2024y 4090.
And I want to say the quality of gigabyte was twice as better than Asus.
The main issue I had at gigabyte was the keyboard - it's not a standard layout. You can understand it only when you buy it. Especially if you typing blindly. I always take detached keyboard with me BC of that issue. I don't know why those idiots made it, but it's 1 button shifted to the left from standard.
Aero was made of aeroplane allumenium, asus - plastic very markable cheap plastic.
Airflow - gigabyte much better and silent. Asus - noizy.
And main issue Asus has this tinny throttle squeak on the motherboard not everyone hearung it but i do. I thought its a bug, but in the shop they showed me its a standard.
Aorus boxing so mimics Apple.

FYI this review made me return my 17X and go with a 2024 LegionPro 7i. The performance between these two laptops is night and day. Gigabyte should be ashamed of themselves with this offering.

Been happy with my Legion Pro 7i .. I use it constantly and I’ve had rarely any issues if none at all . I would highly recommend to anyone
