  • Albannach, Gàidhlig for "Scottish" or "Scotsman", is a Scottish music band. Their traditional warlike tribal music is heavily percussive; driven by bass drums, bodhráns, and bagpipes. This track is from their debut 2006 album 'Albannach'.

I was at a wedding at Grandfather Mountain NC in front of the stage. The music goes down into your DNA and brings the medieval 1500's out of you. It was the most exhilarating experience bar none. I have been to heavy metal, Rock & Roll, Country, Bluegrass and this is the only one that raises the hair, increases your heart rate and has you dancing around......Love It.

I love Albannach. Hooligan's holiday is my favorite song from them. If I ever get married, I want Albannach to play at my reception ❤

My late wife and I saw Albannach in Charlotte, NC in 2009. If you don't at least move your feet, much less dance, when they play their music, there is something seriously wrong with you.
