The best part of this is how the audience loses its mind when they see Dick Van Dyke. When he does finally leave this Earth he will surely hear God say "Well done my good and faithful servant.,"
Who doesn't love this girl? Never afraid to be herself, she jumps right in and gives it her all. What a wonderful tribute to a beloved actor, singer and dancer!
10 years after your comment I agree 100%. Even more now. This would definitely bring me back to watching tv again. Until then I’ll just keep watching clips like this on RUclips with my Premium account.
That was great fun! Loved Dick Van Dyke in that role Mary Poppins & Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! So much fun! God bless him! I hope all that joy that he gave us all & more comes back to him many times over! 😃💗💕
Who doesn't love Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, I was surprised to learn that in December 2021 Sally Anne Howe who played Truly Scrumptious passed at aged 91, & Anna Quayle who played the Baroness passed in 2019, so DVD has out lived those two ladies who were actually younger than he.
This play is absolutely fantastic. This makes me want to go and see it again. I saw it in Sacramento and we had an encore of supercalifragilisticexpialidocious at the end of the play with everyone on their feet.
Rosie had another "fine" performance. She's real and fun, even when she thinks she messed up. Jolly good show to step out of your comfort zone & rock it.
I love her Rosie o Donnell she is very talented and amazing actress ever the bestset incredible woman she is i love her so much like movies and shows she is most talented greatest actress ever also
He Always Will, my family and I met him and part of his family, Barry and Stacy in AZ, When my family lived there, years ago, they are the Greatest, so kind sweet, loveable, REAL! also reminded me of a Doctor I had, that saved my life. They look alike. HEROS! ❤️💙🕊️🕊️
I want to make a point...we love this man, because of the joy he brought in his song and dance. Keep in mind, most of these songs we love were written by the same two men...Robert and Richard Sherman. Yes, the two guys who brought you It's a Small World to drive you crazy, were later hired by Walt Disney to write songs for the movies we loved. The hearts they touched for decades and decades to come are numerous. These men, who've brought joy to millions of children, crossing language barriers, economic barriers, political barriers, and even religious barriers, are unknown to most people.
I met him as a kid in the 70s. I don’t remember it at all. I guess when I lived in Arizona we were at the airport and I saw him, and mind you, I was so obsessed with Chitty Chitty Bang Bang that my Grandma says I just about tackled him. My Nana said he was sweet to me and his wife played with my curly hair.
I never recognize celebrities (I don’t have a working TV) but I did get a thrill seeing Dick Van Dyke buying coffee at the Malibu Starbuck’s about 9 or 12 years ago... All the songs... I think they make a celebrity larger than life somehow... same thing seeing Julie Andrews (just ahead of me in line) at the Zabar’s grocery checkout in NYC now, gosh, 26 years ago... Anyway, thanks to Rosie for being a sport and giving Dick Van Dyke such a welcome on her show... she is admittedly not a dancer, but a real sport, for true......
I love Rosie, and this song, step in time was my favorite..still is ..the dance routine for that is crazy!!! Wow these guys are wonderful, extremely talented!
OOZiTen She knows the words. Are you deaf? She says them loud enough, that's for sure. Right, she's SOOOO dumb that she's appeared on television, in movies, and had her own radio show, mostly with her own production company. She's also an author and a philanthropist....in case you don't know what that word means, she gives of her money, herself, and her time to underprivileged youngsters with 🎭 her "Rosie's Theater Kids" Foundation which introduces kids to Broadway and allows them to see Broadway shows and participate in their own shows and productions, something they may never have otherwise been introduced to. What have YOU done to help humanity, besides being a boil on the butt of society? Hmmmmm?
I remember when the Rosie show was on the air, I'd often complain about how annoying she could be. Now I realize it was a case of not appreciating what you have, because TV nowadays is so awful, I find myself longing for shows like this to exist again.
I like rosie, it was very good and he really deserved it and still does now. He is an amazing man and always will be the best ever man born on earth. In amongst Winston Churchill and those types.
I loved how Rosie said, that she wasn't a dancer but she was keeping up with the dancers on stage. She mad about 2 or 3 mistakes but you have to look vey close to catch them.
I love Rosie, and I love Dick Van Dyke , I feel like the new Mary Poppins can't compare I mean I love Emily Blunt but Julie Andrews was and always will be Mary Poppins. Are these extra lyrics from the original movie? I forgot I commented 2 years ago lol oops oh well sometimes I comment again If I love it so much.
The best part of this is how the audience loses its mind when they see Dick Van Dyke. When he does finally leave this Earth he will surely hear God say "Well done my good and faithful servant.,"
Yes be sad when Dick Van Dyke pass away and Julie Andrews if when she pass away
Why? Does he have Jesus as his savior?
Who doesn't love this girl? Never afraid to be herself, she jumps right in and gives it her all. What a wonderful tribute to a beloved actor, singer and dancer!
I don't, she is a pig.
Dick Van Dyke 97 years old and still got the energy😁
well, more like 84, as this video is 13 years old
99 now
It's December of 2024 now, and Mr. Van Dyke will turn 99 this month.
He won a daytime Emmy last year!
And, he's still going strong!!!
Ok with me December 2024 new show hollywood story life look back at movie theater in
It's so heartwarming to see all those people so excited to see him. I'd have screamed my head off if I was there, too.
A great tribute to a great dancer, actor and human being.
@Justin Kane with friends like you, who needs enemies?
the master of that role. and still knows the moves.
OMG I loved it ❤️
Rosie is great. We need good musical television BACK!
I loved the fact that she was willing to dance whilst she is in her words, "Not that good". Bravo Rosie for getting out there & doing her thing.
10 years after your comment I agree 100%. Even more now. This would definitely bring me back to watching tv again. Until then I’ll just keep watching clips like this on RUclips with my Premium account.
Not anymore. She used to be.
Watched Mary poppins with my daughter. Didn't know then how precious and fleeting it was
Incredible performance! They don't make shows like this anymore.

So good. The man is a LEGEND!!! Love him.
Even Rosie was shocked by the Audience's reaction!
He is a legend!
He still is such a great guy!!! Great production!

I loved her show so much because she was such a fan. She was from my era, so everybody she loved, I loved too.
Why can't people just be good hearted like Dick Van Dyke? No wonder he looks so great at his age.
Wow, he's still as handsome as ever, I just adore that man!
how can you not love him?
Have me crying so excited to see him 😭 alive and kicking wish you long life Dick Van Dyke
I love ROSIE! She is the best. Met her in person and she could not have been nicer!

I love Rosie's musical dance tribute to the amazing Dick Van Dyke. I just get tears of joy every single time I see this!!! Too cute.
Rosie had another "fine" performance. She's real and fun, even when she thinks she messed up. Jolly good show to step out of your comfort zone & rock it.

Yup, this brought me to tears, too.

I love Dick VanDyke!!!
Hate it when American's imitate the british with a cockney accent baddly but when van dyke did it he was brilliant
and he used a speech at an award ceremony to apologize for it
If I saw a cameo of DVD id be screaming too!

I though “a bag of weed” song from Family Guy was an original song 😝 didn’t know it was based on this song
Edmund Yu I doubt there’s a original song in any FG episode
COOL DANCE
❤️❤️❤️
1:30 - Why is the WB tower in the background just as 'Mary Poppins' is a Disney movie?
we were filming on the Warner Brother's lot the entire month so that backdrop was always there
