Hello from Bournemouth. Thank you for the video which was lovely. I was pleasantly surprised at the low cost and the informality. Used to dressing up for the occasion. Squashed sandwiches aside, the food looked good. Keep it up!! Regards.
Hi from Bournemouth 🤗 for the cost I think it was reasonable and it was bottomless. I found it too noisy and busy but I think going to meet friends for lunch, it would have a cool vibe. I saw people with all degrees of clothing styles so there is not any dress code and people just walked in jeans, shorts etc for a bite to eat. I think in reflection I’d rather pay more for a more elegant calm vibe especially for a special occasion. I like to include different price options though as afternoon tea can be very costly. I have quite a few cheaper options coming up this year. Thanks for the ongoing support. I hope you’re having a lovely week! 🤗
Hi in Scotland, I’ll hopefully be there later in the year. The tea and coffee options were pretty limited and listed on the menu especially compared to other places. This afternoon tea is half the price though so it depends on what you want from an afternoon tea and the budget people have. The majority of people I saw were also just having lunch or a drink instead of the afternoon tea. Thanks for the support! 🤗
A busy and not relaxing place to enjoy afternoon tea. The sandwiches did look rather sad and limp not a bit tempting. The chocolate look very creamy. Thanks for sharing Jos. Take care.
Yes I was super busy and you’re packed really close together. The staff were very attentive though. There were very limited tea options and were listed on the menu but they did allow me to have a hot chocolate included in the price instead as it was a really nice hot chocolate with chunks of chocolate and milk. Thanks for watching! 🤗
£44.50 for an unlimited afternoon tea is a decent price for a very well known venue in London. A friend of mine said the Wolseley is famous for its breakfast. I have never been so I cannot vouch for that. Thanks for sharing.
Yes I thought it was a reasonable price. I’ve done afternoon tea vlogs on other places too that are £20 that were really nice too. I can imagine Wolseley also being popular for breakfast as it’s in a great location and right next to The Ritz
@@josatkin if I’m going to break my streak of not going for afternoon tea I would break it if the price is right 🤣! If I ever feel tempted I could go for this one. I do wonder if patrons can take the pastries home. Last time I had afternoon tea (2017) I was full on sandwiches, scones, and tea. The pastries were boxed and I enjoyed them at my leisure. ☺️
Dear Jos: Sorry to hear that the experience was not a very nice one. Your observation about the noisy ambience is very important and valuable ( I detest noisy places and people) The fact that the place looks rather elegant in an old-fashioned manner but, at the same time, allows its patrons to dress slovenly is ironic and shameful at the same time. The cheese and pickle sandwich looked wonderful and so did the coronation chicken. The scones looked nice but you were there and I was not 😭😭so I must agree with your judgement. I ended up visiting the kitchen, as I always do after watching your videos. My wife blamed you for the 2 kilos I put on 😆😆You look lovely, as always. Regards. Claudio.
Yes it was very loud but I could tell it was a popular place to go to for a work lunch meeting. The inside of the place was really lovely tbh but it was worthwhile me going to get a feel for the place. My waiter was also really lovely and quite funny which suited the casual vibe of the place. Thanks for watching! Have a lovely week! 🤗
@@josatkin Thank you for your reply. I am glad you enjoyed the moment there and that the waiter was very nice. Thank you for your lovely videos. How is the weather treating you? Here we had a horrible week, with lots of rain. All the best! 🥰🥰🥰
@@arslongavitabrevis5136 where I am at the moments is gorgeous and sunny which is lovely. I’m been at the beach over the weekend so making the most of some relaxing time out at the moment.

I do love my afternoon tea sessions. 😋
Looks delicious great that you can get refills for the price!
Yes it was a cheaper afternoon tea option. It appeared that most the people around me were there for lunch though so a popular spot.
Hi there love your videos I watch from Scotland uk ... how was the selection of afternoon tea/ coffee there was no feedback 😕 😊😊

@@shadowguard3578 it is great to be able to have some items boxed up. I often give some of them to my niece and nephew to try.

One of the shortest videos I’ve seen from you, still love it tho 😅☺️
Yep it was a mini video this week. Glad you enjoyed the video. 🤗

For some reason the hotel puts me in mind of Paris!
Yes the inside has a particular style about it. Thanks for watching! 🤗
Please take care that these people can sew you! Please pixelize their faces just in case 🤍🙏🥰
