Love the video. We’ve failed several times trying to get out of debt but we realized the trick for us was being honest. We love to eat out and in the past we always tried to just quit eating out or severely limit. That didn’t work for us. Once we put in a realistic dining out category everything fell into place. I think people sometimes get frustrated when they deviate from the ‘approved’ plan everyone else is using. You are so correct. Put money away for the stuff you know is coming. Don’t stop at $1k. I know it saved us.

Exactly! Being honest about your habits is the key. Nobody wants to be miserable while they're on this journey. Thanks for watching!

I just added $10K of debt for a new A/C system for my house. It will slow up my debt snowball, but I will get it done before the interest kicks in 18 mo from now. I’m still working on paying off my car by June. I’ve paid off about $30K since February 2022. 🙌🏽
    I need a 2nd job.

A new AC is pretty important, especially since it's about to get hot! Great job on setting your goals. You're going to reach them and it will feel so good. And great job on paying off $30k! That's awesome!

Thanks for sharing! I definitely want to learn more about being a virtual assistant. How did you get into that??

Of course! I will see if I can do a video on it. I just figured out what services I wanted to offer, then reached out to people (local and online) that looked like they needed someone to provide these services. Today I'm down to one client (a blogger/youtuber) that pays pretty well and I've been working with him since 2019. If I feel like I want to earn more money in the future I will pick up a couple more clients, but for now, I'm content!

@@WellBalancedWallet oh that’s awesome! I’m just starting the process of paying off my debt and I realized that I need to find a way to make more income but have been struggling to find something that will offer me the flexibility I need. I’ll have to do some more research on virtual assisting and will definitely check out any videos you make! 😁
