I ❤Jade. She is so awesome. Love the way she talks, just straight. I was $320k in debt, we started Dave baby steps at the beginning of the pandemic, and now we are $60k left. We are exhausted, happy, emotional, and proud of our hard work.
@MarriageKidsandMoney We are planning a trip to Alaska and watch the Northern lights. After we finish the debt, we will continue living within budget and planning for purchases, trips, and house renovations. Most of our snowball is going to investments and retirement.
denying yourself things and waiting for them actually can increase the enjoyment. As Jade said: she hustled and sacrificed for 7 years, and then it felt so good to enjoy Black Friday and shopping (within a budget - but they made it high). She still remembers and she still feels the joy. It lasts longer !
I'm happy for her. She's quite lucky because having that much consumer debt often destroys a marriage. I wish them the best. @@judithgrace9850why do you think Dave is a hypocrite? He knows what it is like to be living paycheck to paycheck but also to be financially stable. I remember he went from wealthy to losing it all at one point.
@@judithgrace9850please explain the hypocrite part. Strong word with no basis in fact . That would imply they actually have debt and do not live the Baby steps.
JADE is such a "breath-of-fresh-air". She is MULTI talented and she has a rich and vibrant personality that draws people to her like a magnet. A wonderful, wholesome, strong and bright individual who gives very sound financial and Life advice. Always a joy to watch her. Looking forward to viewing some of her musical talents as well. Thanks for sharing your most interesting life story. Greetings from Ontario, Canada.
People need to give their teenagers the truth that they must make financially responsible choices about education. Don’t tell them that they should just follow their dreams and hope that the government will someday relieve them of their debt. Tell them to say no to the immense greed of the universities. Find a better way to get the degree. You don’t need to live on a campus and party and drink for four years for $200K. No. Use the community colleges and online courses, work full time for companies that reimburse tuition. Say no to the usery.
Another great interview! I think I started watching you around 2k subs. Great to watch you grow. I feel like you’re about to explode! Keep giving us great, inspiring content.
Her and her husband "graduated" from Tennessee state university in 2007. But yet their names are not in the class of 2007 yearbook. Did she even go to that school, or any school? Or is her whole story a lie?
Jade is a great example of how fighting the good fight, going from deep debt to saving for the future and financial freedom changes a person or couple and installs a confidence that even those with high incomes but big debt...lack.
I was paying 0% on a loan for a year and a half. I still had more than year left to pay it off but paid it off a few months ago. Sure I could invest the money, but I just got tired of paying debt.
Her story is encouraging; however, I thought she and her husband heard of Dave Ramsey while driving in the car with her brother and they became interested. That's the story he told 5 yrs ago. I just saw the video. Weirdly she and her husband's story never line up. It happened on a Dave Ramsey episode recently when her husband was a guest. They may need to get their stories straightened out before being interviewed.
@@BloomByCC I understand that completely, but in these two instances the stories were very different. Someone was flat out lying 😄. I got second-hand embarrassment during the 1st incident on Dave Ramsey .
It doesn't matter how they heard about Dave Ramsey. 10 people could watch an incident happen and all ten would have different stories. What is relevant is how they got out of debt.
Not that it matters one bit, but yes we heard Dave on the radio in 2007 Together. Jade gave a quick answer - seems you missed the point of the interview here.
Well no you know better yourself people cant think their way into something without a mathematical way of getting there!!! I know because you commented to me making 200K a year "helped" you reach 1 million. Well by my math 200K is about 2 million dollars! So exactly how is someone making 50K doing to reach 460K without taking 10 years at minimum. You yourself must understand math has a lot of way of not working out because it is math!!!!

What do you think of the advice from Jade Warshaw?
I do not like her. And feel she is a side piece of hypocrite Dave.

Great story! But many times people just want what they can't afford and the banks make it so easy to get loans or credit cards.

Andy, criminal that you only have 9k subs at this point. I think your subs will snowball pretty quickly though at some point and take you over 100k
Too kind! I’m too stubborn to stop so you’ll keep seeing more of me in your feed 😂
