Level Zero: Extraction is a multiplayer extraction horror. the developers put out a roadmap, there are new maps, characters, mods, etc
That's it, if I ever make any game, my difficulty levels will be like "6 days in Faluja", "Blackhawk Down" and "UN peacekeeping force kidnapped in Africa"

I'm glad the clunky movement is something the devs are aware of. Cause it definitely does feel weird moving around or even just moving your gun around while aiming. As mentioned in this video, it feels like moving your gun/aim/crosshairs has movement acceleration. Then, once you stop moving, your aim feels stiff and clunky. Definitely doesn't feel natural.
Played the demo, played as a player (killed like 2 people and then got killed)
Played as an Alien (killed 3 dudes with relative ease)
Safe to say, it still needs some balancing

Yeah but you don’t get gear or much or anything as an alien also the alien plays after people have extracted until the last man your going to have way more time to kill people as an alien than a player
@@Crimsonking03 those abilities are op though. And too easy to recharge
@@MrSuperman957 no they aren’t I’ve got like a 63% extraction rate aliens are easy to deal with if you know what you are doing the passive healing perk and poison resistance nullify most of the alien abilities and as long as your torch is off when they emp it’s not affected if anything aliens need a slight buff not a nerf they die super fast to lights

I get the feeling it isn't supposed to be a run and gun kind of game.
Alien verus Human feels very slow, methodical.
I'm trying to slowly drain their health with spit, clouds, eggs, and drain their batteries and pressure them into backing into the turret or the zombie things, while managing my energy and keeping an eye out for electrical spots to recharge.
If I rush in, anyone who knows what they're doing will kill me, because EMP doesn't work on flashlights that are off, and a decent gun can kill the alien pretty quickly.
I don't play as the human as much, or as well, but I get the feeling it's supposed to be more like that also.
Ran into a group of two humans, and I turned to run.
They chased so I found a box to hid behind, aimed where their heads would be with my flashlight off, and sat there to see if they'd come.
Their flashlights gave them away.
Finding that as the human I'm not turning on every light possible, because it alerts everyone where I am.
But I was also playing solo.
I much prefer the aliens.
I usually max out mouse sensitivity, and humans have an aim movement multiplier which I think affects down the sights aiming.
I dropped about 10 times today and it was INSANE. this is a good one

I like how you have $100M and all these guns but its nearly impossible to even get money or guns in this game.
I didnt know what the game was, downloaded and jumped into a match without any equipment, two strangers felt bad for me and instead of killing me they carried me and gave me ammo and resources, big W for my first experience
I still haven't played an extraction shooter, seems very stressful.
I'm sure it is if you go with expensive equipment, but I've been going in with the free starter kit.
When I haven't been playing the aliens, which I prefer anyway.
Can the M4 be found in the map or is just a trade item?

Would love to be master race but am doors. While I can afford a $500 Series X once every, say 5 yrs it's a much bigger financial burden to have to buy at least a $1k+ new computer every few yrs. My kids and wife gotta eat too.

ima have to disagree with the aiming part. Makes it a challenge for everyone. Everyone wants aim that feels the same as other games so its easy for them. I prefer the challenge of aiming like its more realistic

I just got done with a run and yea, the gunplay ain't my cuppa at all. I just don't understand why these Extraction games have to be "realistic" with anything, hell it just doesn't add anything imo.
But now that I think about it there's two things here to note- TinyBuild has a really weird reputation that I believe is just they publish half-baked games over and over and never stick with one game to make it great. Second is I fear this game might not make it just due to the fact that there's literally nothing new they bring to the table. Feels like a buzzword game made by Ai lol
I played the earlier play test and it was terrible, hopefully it has Improved

the game looks fine and has great concept and atmosphere, but the only reason im not going to play it because how bad the gunplay is, now i don't mind slow movement overall i think it fits the game fine, it doesnt need to be cod or anyother fps shooter out there where you can slide/jump/sprint around like mad, but aiming is just clunky and terrible at best, its like im playing late 90s early 2000s fps game on console but worse, similar to perfect dark.
Also singleplayer?

I get i probably just fkn suck but my good ness it gives you nothing to start that can kill the player aliens fast enough not to mention how long it takes to swap inventory slots ie, from gun to flare. every one has had the EMP so by time we even know theres a player alien it just sprints at us and kills us before we can even swap to flare

Balancing is awful.. Went went up against 3 squads and ran out of stims and ammo for player aliens/AI.. after that.. too small a map for that many… they are targeting Hardcore tarkov players and will have a small community after ppl try it.. I don’t get these devs

If it was just the left 4 dead vs format I would absolutely love this. But with other humans with guns shooting at you this is a hard pass. I'm sick of pvp fps games. You could be doing well and clearing rooms and fighting off the monsters, then some sweat soaked ReAl HaRdCoRe GaMeR pops you in the back of the head after running into the room. F that.
If your looking for the same type of game but without pvp you really need to be looking at games like GTFO, being upset because you lost to a skill issue is a part of extraction games- it's why grey zone is struggling compared to games that are pvp focused like this.

@@YeetwithSwag Please provide your evidence because as of right now, if you check the steam charts for example, there are 31k players (51k peak.) Thats 8% of the total player base. They have lost 91.56% of the player base since the launch. in February. No one gives a damn about these warbonds or the 1-2 stratagems we get. Do the math guy, games continuously dying.
@Tripplesmoke 31k isn't "dead" though lol. That's like saying getting a papercut puts you critical condition.
