Maybe show this video to a local museum and see if they can save these pieces. This is part of history and should be saved.

One of the family pictures in ground level belongs to the Iran's last Queen , FARAH PAHLAVI ) and her children , after revolution in 1979 they ran from Iran to Egypt, France, US .
Most of SHAH relatives and hi very close affilates also ran to France . The Queen herself had been living and studying before marrying SHAH.
I suspected this little mansion was one of his follower.
Persians love and adore rugs especially hand made ones. They cover floors with thicker one and the walls with thinner ones as a decoration.
Thank you guys for the effort you make for the beautiful videoes.

Gentlemen, I am truly grateful to you for letting us “tag-along” with you during your incredible investigations. From the beginning of this, I knew you would have to work hard 😓 just to lay eyes on the place. Your channel is my very favorite, because you both conduct yourselves with dignity and decorum. You’re always recognizant of the lives that these houses represent. I truly hope that both of you are in college...You two will continue to contribute so very much to this world. 🗺 All my best.

Keep at it boys. I love how respectful you are of the homes you visit, and I'm grateful for the glimpses you give us of the lives of the people who who once lived there.
BTW: People used to hang tapestries on the walls to cover the bare brickwork and even to keep out draughts.

Hello Maureno and Remon, Awesome to see both of you in a video again... What an amazing explore you have shown us, very unique home and furnishings. The past occupants definitely stayed with the same theme for decorating it, such beautiful ornate antique furniture, worth a small fortune I would imagine... did 'work' in such small rooms, but deserves to be saved In a much larger space. Again, awesome job and can't wait to see you both exploring together in the future!! Stay safe and happy in your travels!!

Hi Maureno & Remon, such an amazing place, those cabinets and chairs in both of those rooms blew me away, they are gorgeous and so intricately carved too. It's really hard to put any kind of style to the house, in some parts Indian and others French. For once you found treasure although it was in a purse and not a treasure chest, still it was very cool to find. Thank you for battling through all that undergrowth, much love. xx💖🤘

That style of decor is Iranian. The picture on the wall tells me whoever lived there escaped the country before Ayatollah Khomeini took the power of Iran 1979, exiling the Shaw of Iran around that time. The picture of the table is the shaw of Iran and his family behind. Ayatollah Khomeini took a once modern and thriving country back to the stone ages. Many people fled the brutal regime of the Ayatollah and were dispersed throughout the world as refugees of war. I was 16 when that happened. I remember seeing it on tv. People were burning there furniture and books. They were not allowed to have furniture. The only book they could have was the Koran. Women were made to quit their jobs and put on those black veils. IT WAS HORRIABLE> They killed anyone that did not obey and didn't even try to hide it. They want the country to be Shari Law and nothing else. Now Iran is nothing but rubble today. Check out what it was like back in the early 70s it was beautiful, progressive, and modern. Obviously, the family had money at one time probably when they fled the country they brought that stuff with them. What a beautiful place, and a garden that would have been. Magical! Glad to see they found peace. Because the would have gone through hell to get there

The family in the photo was actually the wife and children of the shah of Iran. They were the royal family of Iran. The owners of that property we’re probably Iranian and that was a tribute to the royal family. I guarantee you those medieval tapestries and Persian carpets are worth some money. It is DEFINITELY the former "Shah of Iran" whom died of cancer in exhile. His wife Farrah endured 2 suicides by her children. First the daughter, Leila Pahlavi, in 2001, then her son Alireza Pahlavi in 2011. Very tragic family, and why so much is left behind. The mother Farrah, in the dyed red hair, is still in exile in Paris, France.

Definitely a strong cultural influence from “somewhere”. Amazing furniture for such a little cottage. Beautiful tapestries, rugs and quilts. It is mystifying that they left everything? Someone definitely mussed the place up a bit as I am sure the family did not live messy like that. Thank you for this intriguing explore!

Hey guys, great job. This was a treasure indeed. People from the Middle East. They perhaps lived there but had to leave. There’s a lot of people from Libya and Iran that live in Paris. Very common. That is definitely the Shaw of Iran in that picture. Those tapestries and the furniture are amazing. That is not trash...very valuable stuff. Good find. Stay safe!!

This is a magnificent place!!! Too bad that the gorgeous antiques in this place can’t be restored & given love once again. They are 1 of a kind...I’ve never seen beautiful antiques like these! Very sad that it was & probably will continue to be vandalized 😞 This is a phenomenal place with phenomenal furniture!!! Thank you sooo very much for sharing this beautiful property ❤️

Once again a great explore. The furniture is beautiful, its a shame it cant be saved. You did the right thing with that purse. These people would of be Iranian, the photo on the table tells that. They must of fled when everything went belly up and found peace here. Very touching. Thanks guys. Take care and stay safe 😊

It appears the family escaped from a richer home and settled in safety with what they could take like fine furniture and tapestries. My heavens

The garden was a dream! It had to be so glorious when it was tended to.
The interior reminded me of Romanian, and Bohemian. Absolutely stunning.
Most think Persia. Regardless, it was stunning. Best explore I've ever seen. Thank you!🌹

Hey, thank you again! Super explore and indeed, a very strange one. It lefts me thinking about so many possibilities of who these persons were. My assumption is as follows. A rich noble family who used to be wealthy and living in a castle in France got to move out because the "vie de chateau" is expensive. The couple, French and Persian, or French and Hungarian (ref. to the portrait of the woman in the bedroom), got old and broke, moved to that little house with their belongings: antique furniture of the 18th to 20th centuries, medieval tapestries, Bakhshayesh and Caucasian carpets and so on. This is just after the 1st watch. I may got more hints of other things that could happen.

This may help identify this family. On the table showing the family there is a photo of the former Shah of Iran. Therefore I believe this family to be from Persia or now Iran. Thanks for all you guys do. Chuck in NJ, USA

Moments in time G I don’t think it was their home. I think the people who lived there were Iranian and they had a photo of the royal family up on their wall.

Just did a little digging. Most defiantly the family of the exiled shaw of Iran with his last wife and children. After he was given sa Sanctuary by Jimmy Carter he also died in the US. His last wife love to Paris and spent much time there after his youngest daughter became addicted to drugs she had been a model at some point in New York she wound up going to Paris or France area also I think that it's her house that you found she died of a drug overdose in the early 2000s and the brother that's in the picture committed suicide I think around 2011 if you look at the picture of the shop with his family the young girls picture that you found in the house is the young girl in the picture
