Wow.. Mr Otto must have loved his wife Mrs Annie very much to let him turn their home into a little girl's pink fairy Palace and decorating it like a giant doll's house. I don't normally think about it, but this is a timely reminder that I need to make a will so this doesn't happen to my home should I die suddenly!
Maureno, I definitely have to say that you stepped into it with this explore. You'll never find another place quite like it. On the one hand, I'd have to say it's absolutely captivating. "Little girl's fantasy dream" is the perfect description here. You just can't stop looking. On the other hand, my practical side says it would be a nightmare to clean. Could I live in a home like that? Probably not. I could easily if the drapes etc. were contained to one or two rooms. But the whole house? I don't think I could manage it. Did anyone else notice she even upholstered the ceiling with white satin, and lined the seams with pink satin ribbon? I can't imagine the work that was invested in this place. Just wow! This is beyond a labor of love on her part. Definitely an unforgettable experience.
Woes. Somewhere along the line she lost her childhood and otto loved her so much he gave her free rein to decorate as she liked. They probably stoped caring for a lot of the home as they grew older. Sad but true. I am 72 now and there’s a lot I can’t do anymore but fortunately I have grandchildren that help me. I saw no signs of them having children. A few photos of children mean nothing. I hope the home and its contents don’t decay completely before they totally are ruined. I love how u respect the homes u visit and the former occupants. God bless and stay safe.
It probably got run down due to their age and not being able to properly care for it. Probably didn’t have much help in the later years so the home suffered. Bless their hearts you can tell they filled it with love. ❤
It's like a hoarders house with all those curtains, ornaments & dolls. It's so busy, you don't know where to settle your eyes. My auntie in Vienna, Austria has the exact same fireplace in her living room as that light brown one upstairs in the bedroom, so they must be a Germanic Europian thing/style. Greetings from Manchester in the uk 🇬🇧 Love your video's ❤ What you do is amazing. You are so respectful, too. Especially compared to other explorers. I find your voice very soothing, too. Could listen to you all day 😅 Thankyou for all your hard work & dedication xx
The house is so unique. From the outside it looks like a farm in Switzerland, that's actually true. In southern Germany there are also many such houses of this architecture. Unfortunately, some things are said to have been stolen from this house and you have to be careful. Another Urbexer caught the thieves and alerted the police. This abandoned farm is no longer completely unknown and unfortunately there are also criminals who take advantage of it. It looks like there used to be a carpenter's workshop. I now have my theory as to why she collected so much. You have to think about when she was born. Either shortly before or during World War II. I think she felt cheated of her childhood and may have experienced something that left her life traumatized, like so many people who spent their childhoods in war. And that's why she created her "dream castle" to make her life worth living. It's just my opinion. But through my family I have also experienced many people who had a rupture in their soul as a result of these experiences. By the way, the device next to the Pfaff sewing machine is a hot mangle. This is used to flatten large items of laundry, such as bed linen, tablecloths, etc. My grandmother had something like that too.
Iagree also you have to remember that people who lived through the depression had lived so poorly that they had to ration all they had so afterwards many people that age had learned to save and accumulate all they could now because of having to had become traumatized by the effects of the depression and ww2both and what happened in hitler leadership traumatized generations of German and anyone who was Jewish I know personally from experience people who would be in their 90scollected so much things that our baby boomers would call their grandparents and parents hoarders but I understand the reason why they would have kept all the things they could I personally knew that people that age would’ve even hid money 💰 in walls and buried underground at their homes money because they never fully completely trusted banks so they left little money in banks and felt more safe to hide there money I had a elderly person once tell me that they had a relative that made a hole in ther floorboard in a metal box 📦 I felt so sad in my heart ❤️ when he told me that because I felt it had to be because of whatever happened to them that traumatized them when they were a child 🧒 they would have never really recovered from what they mentally and emotionally and financially suffered from 🇺🇸👍❤️😇👼✝️🌎☮️✡️👏🧒💯

Hola Explomo!
Do Brasil!
I can’t believe this place! It is so unique and magical! Really one of a kind! It is soo interesting that there are these pastel, satin drapes covering the rooms’ walls too, not just the windows. This really makes this house feel so cozy and fairy tale-like. ❤
Oh my goodness, Oh my goodness I so relate to her, the colors, the décor I collect teddy bears and stray cats. I'm almost 75. Me her have never grown up. Fairy's live here. I need that beautiful home. 🧚♀🧚♀🧚♀🧚♀💖💖💖💖
Wow, this is definitely one of the most unique interior designs I've ever seen, they must have been a very special couple or family. I also imagine cleaning this place, must be a nightmare 😁 Thanks for another great documentation ❣️😘❣️
Hi your Mary was a good girl but also a sinner like every human, only our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST is immaculate! Please stop your idolatry and turn to our living Savior JESUS CHRIST and be rapture ready because HE is coming soon- not to some piece of wood! Listen to real theologians like Dr. Ron Rhodes on end times chronology.
Hi Maureno, she definitely had a wild imagination, she loved living her fantasy. What I find strange is that they have millions of photos of them outside hanging inside but have no photos of them inside hanging anywhere. The house appears to have started to fall into disrepair while they were still alive, it looks rather large for two older people to maintain. This was definitely an odd one, but a great find. Thanks for sharing it. Love from N.Y.
Beautiful home with all the drapes on the walls, ducks and other animals on the floors as if you were in Alice in wonderland. 😊The colorful furniture, photos of her and family in the garden and all the other beautiful touches. Also, very sad, seeing her garden overgrown with weeds and everything left behind...beautiful but sad.😔
This is a beautiful home,it is very sad to see everything just wasting away, the bike is from the war, seems like she had a sad life, but when she was free she slipped into her own world of everything she missed in life,it is a shame the family is not taking care of the home, thank you for sharing the video.
Wow! Another great explore! Like you said, it's.a one of kind place. I think the husband loved taking picures his wife and the garden. So odd that there aren't any photos of children or grand children on the walls. Very mysterious. Thank for sharing this story with us.
You're right. This is a house like no other. She made her home into a little girl's dream. I'm wondering, did the house have bathrooms or is that something you don't normally film.
A tragic fairy tale ...So many enchanted details..You are so respectful of this beautiful house. The love remains behind in each room...Great explore..I love this enchanted location. It is sad No family member us there to claim it and bring it back to Life. This place deserves to Live Again with another Family if possible...So Sad..
That thing in the sewing room was probably to "iron" the long pieces of material she made that draped almost the entire house. So much effort must have gone into making all of those drapes! I can't even imagine!
Yes, the machine next to the sewing machine is a linen ironing machine. My friends had one and it makes your sheets and pillow cases beautifully pressed without wrinkles. Some people just love perfect linens. And, possibly she used it on the huge collection of drapes she had!
l,m glad..Very beautiful, pretty, Pink home. Garden, flowers, toys, animals, babys with curtains. Thank you very much Maureno and Remon. l love yours 🏆🏆🤗🤗💝💐👏👏🍀👍
Oh cooler Ort.
The big thing by the sewing machine is a perm press machine. You would put items in it and the foot pedal would roll the item around and press it. Sheets, dress shirts , towels, pillowcases, dresses, table linens are some of the things that you would use that for. This is a lovely place and yet sad too. It longs for someone to come in and breathe and bring life back into it for it you live on. It is possible that maybe the children and or heirs are trying to get it legally settled so they can take the next step. And it's possible that the children are legally deadlocked as it is sometimes called when there's taxes and other costs are owed on it and they are trying to pay that off so they can get the deed to sell it...... there's lots of problems or possibilities that could be a holdup we don't know. I hope the window you all went in was able to be closed to help keep it from getting mold and birds along with other critters. It's sad that mice have already gotten in but the cleanest houses can get mice rays spiders bugs and my house gets cobwebs because it is old and I live where it is dry windy blowing dirt and humid, about every 6mths I have to clean cobwebs and vacuum the sofa and bed and wash walls.because it gets dusty and dirty. So cobwebs can be anywhere clean or dirty 😚 It's so sad that there's no family to enjoy life in this quaint but lovely home.
I so enjoy your videos they are always so amazing and your narration brings us to the location you are speaking about. Thank you for sharing this wonderful story with all of us.
Hello Maureno! Really incredible house. They are very crafting people . They were love made nice details around of the house. Sad the Family not take care of the place with full good memories. You are always nice narration and respectful there. Big hug 🤗 ❤ 💖 👍😊
Great regards from France ♥️
❤ beautiful! Thank you for sharing this amazing time capsule. I reconized a mirror in the last (blue) bedroom, I do own the same.😊 I pray this house will be love and restored again. God bless you and keep you safe on all your explorations.
I am with you it’s like stepping into fairyland I can never seen so much material. Oh my goodness she sure had imagination to decorate every little corner, nook and cranny does it says her art thank you for sharing. You guys are great. God bless you.
Just to let you know people that are in there 80’s or older did not have colored photographs at there wedding they where still only black and white . So that photo at the beginning was probably one of there children’s wedding or another family member. Love you documentaries! Love from Chicago Il !
I'm from Germany and that style we would call *kitschig* over here. The horns was the post office signs back in the days. I hope Anni and Otto don't miss their home too much in case both are still alive 🙌
Thanks Maureno for this wonderful explomo episode.. the house is so amazing I also love flowers and decoration ... So unique home.. many curtains hang up everywhere and the dolls is so plenty.. what a beautiful home Mrs. Annie I think she is love nature and the garden flowers she also loves pictures with the flowers on the background.. thank you Maureno for this Wonderful brandnew episode more power to your channel..❤️
Another great video. Thanks for doing it. I can't imagine the amount of money that spent on the decoration that house. I could never let my parents stay in such a place because one spark would set the whole place up in smoke in minutes. I would like to see the antiques preserved and I did enjoy looking at such a unique home.
I wish there was a way that they can fix it back up and somebody live in it because it's still a beautiful place a beautiful home It just needs love and care I wish I can afford to buy it
If I could live there and just look after the place and if an urbexer wanted to film it they could do it and not get in trouble. Charge admission and put that money towards taxes and maintaining the property at least the riff raff wouldn't be able to just come in and trash the ace which is what that mess in the small kitchenette was a trashed mess. That was not accidental.
for sure she made all the drapes it is beautiful ,just the thought of all the work they put into their home him outside making furniture non stop and even someone painting the furniture how great was that may they rip together. ty guys for showing us.
Considering the downstairs was so much pink I'd say the upstairs was the male version. Lots of blue and very little feminity. Love listening to you narrate. You have such a soothing voice. And considering I've worked in the plant industry for 28 years I'd have to say the garden is my favorite spot too.
So beautiful thank you for letting me go on this Wonderful Journey with you. I really appreciate you for your passion for the beauty of seeing how years has taken over and how people lived. You truly have an original engagement to an introduction to each item and room we enter together. Love your videos and passion.
Thank you for the hike in! It looks like whoever either inherited or bought this estate is actively using the land around the house. I thought it was great that one lone little planted rose bush was still putting out some reddish roses. All those fetishy homemade drapes to cover all the walls and ruffles around the ceiling -- I wonder how often she actually took them down and washed them. They probably have been decaying for a very long time due to never being taken down. It would simply be too much work. I think she had to go into care elsewhere before him, and as he lived on there let her garden go with her because it was too much maintenance, like her. He probably lost all interest in keeping the house up and just let it go. Being a very spoiled wife, when she was young, I bet she stamped her foot and slung her curls, pouted, or slung a little girl fit if he didn't let her have her way. Everything in the house is all about her. You showed no evidence that this couple ever had children, which would explain her creating a child's fantasy for herself, as a comfort. He never got rid of her clothes, and it was certainly the easiest to live in the house as she had left it. If she was a lot younger than he was, she could still be live living in care somewhere. A good explore. Thank you for reading the German letter.
Milá Kaja, Haha, som rada, že si si všimla tú prevažujúcu ružovú farbu! Určite to robí z miesta niečo jedinečné.

1:10:16 Its an ironing machine, she used it probably for the sheets and drapes. I also think that she made all these drapes by herself. She was very creative.
Beautiful house and gardens it’s decaying so quickly because who ever was left there couldn’t manage the house because of there age so much to keep clean just so sad that the house isn’t enjoyed anymore great find thank you 🥰🥰
The round machine next to the sewing machine is called a mangle. It is very small and is heated up and used for ironing sheets, table clothes and sleeves on shirts, etc. They use huge ones in hospitals where I have worked to iron sheets for the hospital beds. They are also used to sterilize the bedding as they are heated up very hot.

It's like the whole place is a little girl's bedroom fantasy. He let her live her dreams, which she painstakingly created. Such a sweet place.

I was wondering the same thing, where are the bathrooms
He usually films the bathrooms... even the semi disgusting ones. Either there weren't any indoors or he couldn't find one behind all those drapes. 🤷
No, I couldn't stand to have curtains on all the walls. Kinda creepy.
Wow, this place is awesome. It's so huge. love the fog too. thank-you for showing us !
What a magical home. You did a great job honoring the folks who lived here. You always show such respect. Thank you so much.
I saw both her dresses in the photos on the chairs, the pink one and the blue one too~
Cata frumusete si mistere poate ascunde trecutul ...!!
Felicitari, exploratorilor ...!!!❤❤❤
What a mysterious home. Don’t understand the decor but to each his own. Great explore Maureno!!!! 🥰🥰🥰
I was very happy to see that the attic had no curtains.😁
l,m glad..Very beautiful, pretty, Pink home.
Garden, flowers, toys, animals, babys with curtains.
Thank you very much Maureno and Remon.
l love yours
🏆🏆🤗🤗💝💐👏👏🍀👍
Many homes have one or two rooms devoted to a collection..or passion. That they had it all over the place..was amazing!
So cobwebs can be anywhere clean or dirty 😚
It's so sad that there's no family to enjoy life in this quaint but lovely home.
All those drapes! It would be very claustrophobic to me. Can’t imagine having to live there - but to each his own.
I would think depressing to have to just look at drapes.
Great regards from France ♥️
❤ beautiful!
Thank you for sharing this amazing time capsule.
I reconized a mirror in the last (blue) bedroom, I do own the same.😊
I pray this house will be love and restored again.
God bless you and keep you safe on all your explorations.
I am with you it’s like stepping into fairyland I can never seen so much material. Oh my goodness she sure had imagination to decorate every little corner, nook and cranny does it says her art thank you for sharing. You guys are great. God bless you.
I'm so in love with this exploration ❤️❤️❤️❤️ thanks 💖💖💖💖💖
Just to let you know people that are in there 80’s or older did not have colored photographs at there wedding they where still only black and white . So that photo at the beginning was probably one of there children’s wedding or another family member. Love you documentaries! Love from Chicago Il !
This place is such a good vibes i felt soo connectet and relaxed ....
Thank you, Maureno, for another great explore! I never saw so many curtains in one house before!
I'm from Germany and that style we would call *kitschig* over here.
The horns was the post office signs back in the days.
I hope Anni and Otto don't miss their home too much in case both are still alive 🙌

You're welcome. Sorry I unfortunately don't understand the rest of your comment
A lot of work went into this presentation. GREAT JOB. You should feel very satisfied for a well done presentation.❤
Maureno seus videos são fantásticos, parabéns.🇧🇷
What a great explore 👍🏻drapes all over the house that was weird ? but I really liked all the stuff to look at 👏🏻
The amount of dedication to detail this house has is insane!
for sure she made all the drapes it is beautiful ,just the thought of all the work they put into their home him outside making furniture non stop and even someone painting the furniture how great was that may they rip together. ty guys for showing us.
Considering the downstairs was so much pink I'd say the upstairs was the male version. Lots of blue and very little feminity. Love listening to you narrate. You have such a soothing voice. And considering I've worked in the plant industry for 28 years I'd have to say the garden is my favorite spot too.
In the sewing room, I believe the one machine is a trouser press. You may be right that it also presses drapes. What a beautiful fantasy created home.
So beautiful thank you for letting me go on this Wonderful Journey with you. I really appreciate you for your passion for the beauty of seeing how years has taken over and how people lived. You truly have an original engagement to an introduction to each item and room we enter together. Love your videos and passion.
So beautiful. Great explore
What a beautiful home, so nice!!
Explomo guys are back with a new exploration, that 's amazing.
Wow i loved this vid x some of the carved furniture and cherubs i loved xx
I wonder who looked after and maintained that big garden! Wow, so beautiful.
Wow what an magical place 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Lugar único! A Sra.
Ouu ružová ružová a všade ružová 🙈 Strašný gýč 😅 veľmi zaprataný dom , pani mala čo robiť keď utierala prach 😃
Milá Kaja,
Haha, som rada, že si si všimla tú prevažujúcu ružovú farbu! Určite to robí z miesta niečo jedinečné. 😄
S pozdravom, Maureno
It’s adorable. So sad the owners have past away and left everything 😢😢😢😢😢. I love pink and dolls. ❤

That is so spooky to enter an abandoned home and hear a clock still ticking wow, that clock was beautiful.
❤Beautiful place and the furniture is gorgeous, such a shame it's been left so sad
1:10:16 Its an ironing machine, she used it probably for the sheets and drapes. I also think that she made all these drapes by herself. She was very creative.
Hello Maureno watching from you from Green Bay, Wisconsin. You are a very talented young man please don't give up your dream of becoming a Doctor.
Saludos
i love this story telling format...beautifull
Beautiful house and gardens it’s decaying so quickly because who ever was left there couldn’t manage the house because of there age so much to keep clean just so sad that the house isn’t enjoyed anymore great find thank you 🥰🥰
Good Job as always Maureno!
