      ESPN cares more about money than the many talented people they are letting go.

      I totally agree! Greeny is a girl. Because of him I cannot watch Get Up. Golic is head and shoulders above Greeny!

      Never understood why they broke up that team. It was a great show. It would be like if Dan and the Danettes were spun off and were put on at the same time on a different station on the same network.

    If the QB crosses the line of scrimmage he should lose protection, he can be protected behind the line because there he's a QB, across the line, he a RB, TE, or WR.

    It’s not tough on this one which was not a sideline play, he was sliding and essentially giving up. All you have to do is touch him at that point not hammer him.

  • @cjdlv8909

    It's an easy modification, move the ball 5 yards back at the start of the slide, not where the slide starts. There will be less slides.

    • @ElizabethBryant-d2u
      @ElizabethBryant-d2u 15 часов назад

      That won't work. The QB is trying to get a first down. 5 yards is a pretty arbitrary number and makes a slide more than meaningless.

    My opinion. If a QB crosses the LOS he is a running back and takes a hit. They are football players. If you don't want to get hit, throw the ball away.

    The NFL doesn't care what is unfair to the defense. Average fans want to see offense. Period. If more people are paying to see cheap offense that's all the league cares about. Unfortunately they are able to frame it as a safety issue, but who doesn't see what pan that steak is fried in?

  • @danoops

    he is coming off a little bit as a bitter former defensive lineman though

    You’d also need have to penalize QBs for starting the hypothetical signal and then stopping before completing it to try and do fake-outs…that could be a big mess.

  • @worship-ondemand

    Sorry Golic, that was a cheap shot... He was going down, and he hit him high. Agree if a QB fakes going out of bounds he is fair game.

    • @Rutired2

      That’s what he said, he specifically said he wasn’t talking about that hit.

  • @ramiroherrera-oe4fm

    If he didn't know that he was sliding, why did he put his elbow into it? He wouldn't have stuck his elbow out if he were hitting a QB running and not sliding.

  • @shaunt7301
    @shaunt7301 15 часов назад

    That hit could have been avoided and the suspension is fair but there needs to be review and severe penalty if a player fakes going out of bounce or fake a slide to gain extra yards. Thats BS.

    The QB needs to dive at the defenders ankles. The defender 98% of the time can't hit the QB hard

    The refs make so many bad calls and omit blatant penalties.In the off season they need to either hire some full time officials or hire more.The referees do not call some penalties against others that should not be called.The edge rushers are held way to often and are rarely called.The holding calls and pass interferences against defenses should be called consistently throughout the NFL.They need to every week answer questions ,be transparent to the NFL Coaches.The Qb should be protected however are those who sack the Qb do they need to learn how to tackle the Qb like a wrestler tackles their opponent to a side guard.Is that possible?Does that make sense?Is that the right terminalogy?lol.I guess the officials should teach the defense how to sack a QB by explaining to coaches how to do it.That sounds ridiculous😂but maybe necessary.I just hate seeing so much inconsistent with referee crews.It is anybodies team to go to the SuperBowl this year.❤

    Mahomes is the worse…he fakes going out and waits to go out as the defender hits him and he flops. Caleb is also a flopper
