Together is mostly about sex. 2. He doesn’t open up to you/text only/not much talking one
On one. 3. He doesn’t ask you out after the hunt phase. 4. He doesn’t protect you (emotionally). 5. You never meet his friends or family 6. I had an 82 year old man trying to spend time and money-still wearing his wedding band, wife had passed years ago. Trying to kiss me with still a wedding band. I finally spoke. Lol

Great information as usual, Wish I learned it when I was much much younger but At least it let me understand the “why everything went wrong.”
    Thank you.

Jonathan, question: I know you’re not religious but I’m curious what your perspective on this would be anyways… in a recent Stephan Speaks video he said that God didn’t create/speak about dating. It was about marriage.
I’m in a happy relationship dating for marriage but this statement has me thinking that the timeline we follow (years of dating, maybe living together, etc.) might be undermining marriage? I am not sure. I’m still in thought about this but I didn’t know if you’d have a perspective on this.

From what I understand, religious people think God created everything. Therefore, God did create dating since the yime the Bible was written. Keep in mind however, 2000+ years ago, the moment two people had sex, that was considered a marriage. Those are my rough thoughts on your query.

If you have been in a relationship and that relationship has ended, whether it be through divorce, someone walking out, or death; it takes at least 1 year for every 5 years together to heal before you can move into a new relationship without the triggers from the old relationship interfering in the new relationship. Otherwise, you will bring into that new relationship any unhealed and/or unresolved issues, which will in turn will create issues in the new relationship.
When I divorced after 25 years of marriage, I had heard of this, 1 year for every 5 years to heal, and it was exactly in the 5th years that I felt the shift and knew that my issues from that relationship had healed, or at least the majority of those issues. I felt that shift from within. So remember this when getting over a past relationship and hold off on even a sexual relationship until you have had time to heal. Namaste !!!

I was married 37 years to a narcissist. The last 3 years was not a marriage we were like roommates. He ran around on me come to find out our whole marriage. He died . Which was the best gift he gave me. After I got over his death I felt like I was reborn. It was such a uplifting experience. I waited 2 .5 months before I re-entered the dating world. I met the most giving man I've ever known. After 2 weeks I found myself falling in love with him. I told him everything I went through. He was so understanding and apologetic for what I gone through. I found myself falling in love with him in 2.5 weeks into our relationship and told him so. He told me he was feeling the same way. It is the kind of love I never knew of . I love him with my whole body and soul. We have been together for 2 years now it's been a long distance relationship. We love each other more every day.

      I’m so
Happy for you !! I can relate. I was a widow (twice)…first husband was abusive alcoholic and put me
Through hell (cheated, stole money from
Me, alcoholic abuse/violence). But the second was love of my life and wonderful to me and my heart was crushed when he died in an accident!! I’m
      So
So glad you have found this love and wish you many years of joy. You deserve it!!

It seems to me that it is what you do with time that creates the healing, not just the passage of time.
If it was time alone that healed, then eventually we would all be healed….

Thank you for another great video 😊 I love it when you share how men approach situations, especially when we (women) don’t see the obvious. For example when we’re invited to a man’s house and we think the guy just wants to chat, but he really wants something else… 😉😅
