If you are truly worried about the warranty you can go the Carbahn/ Dinan route but it is more expensive. You can also try a piggyback but some dealers don’t like those either. Just depends
Do you think the handling of the F90 is as good as the G80? I would think the only area a G80 might be better is in cornering / track day. For daily driving I think an F90 is way better. I'm a big guy as well. I'm about your size but around 6'1 and I was trying to decide between the M3 and the M5. I was wondering if you were comfortable in the M3 but I think you've sold me on the M5 due to the seats and the extra shoulder room.
Congratulations on the purchase. I'm contemplating on which one shall I purchase. I love the M5. I've had 2. The F10 & the F90. I've had the F80 M3. I've not owned the G80 M3. The F80 felt just right for the smaller roads. The M5 felt prestige in every way but bigger for the smaller roads. I keep my vehicles stock due to insurance. 🙂👍🏻
If you have smaller roads and do a lot of driving involving turns, then the G80 may be a better route for you. I will say stock for stock the F90 is a better car to me. The G80 feels bigger than the F80 tho
@@WhatsyourForte Yeah, lots of smaller roads, as most driving consists in the city, very little highway driving. Love the countryside roads. The F90 is an amazing drive. It's a very satisfying vehicle. I haven't placed an order as of yet. Still considering the G80 but prefer the F90. 🤷🏻♂️
@@WhatsyourForte stock to stock no doubt f90 is better. The better question is mod for mod, which ones comes out on top. For me personally it’s still going to be that 4.4l v8 over 3.0 i6 regardless if comparing stock to stock or mod to mod.
All the people who believe the m3 drive is better than m5 need to go drive both back to back themselves. M5 is significantly better engine, feel presence ect.
If you want power and a sportier handling ride, then the G80 is the one to have. The S63 is a dinosaur engine. you get more power out of a S58 with the same mods and more reliably. But the M5 has a prestige that the M3 doesn't. Not to say that the M3 isn't prestigious, but its not an M5. So better is a subjective thing. At least that's how I see it.
You actually don’t get more power out of the S58 with the same mods. The G80s are faster with the same mods because of the chassis and weight. A stage 2 pump 93 S58 makes about 620 wheel. A stage 2 pump 93 S63 is close to 700 wheel. Not to mention the big TQ difference.
@@WhatsyourForte Tune only M3s in Europe are making almost 700whp..with downpipes over 700whp out of a six cylinder. and you can't even put a lot of torque on the s63 without the very high possibility of a rod going. A problem that the s58 doesn't have so it makes more torque
@@wickedpistonracing the cars making 700wheel are on custom E40/E50 and full E85 tunes. Also a lot of those cars when pushed too hard are cracking manifolds. Tons of S58s are breaking. Also the rods in the S58 are the same rods from the S63. So the weak rods in the S63 are the same for the S58. Once you do rods on the S63 you can get 1000hp easy. There is only one S58 with 1000 crank and that is the Red Bull drift car. Which no one has been able to copy as of yet.
@@WhatsyourForte the g80 is not faster with equal mods. Stage 2 f90 on 93 is low 10s trapping 134-136mph, g80 is trapping less with same ET or slower. Once you get into E30-50 mix both run the same times at 9.7-9.9 with 140+ traps, but a lot of g80s need port injection to get that trap+ET while f90s don’t need that to get same results. Mod for mod, s63 v8 is more powerful and faster even with the extra 350lbs of weight (xdrive g80 to f90). Also once you do rods, g80s also need upgraded turbos to get 1000+Hp. What do you think the red bull g80 has? It’s not stock turbos. F90s once you have rods done on STOCK turbos with custom tune and e30 or e40 makes 1000hp to the crank (about 850whp) maxed out. On upgraded rods a g80 needs stage 3 (upgraded turbos) to match the power of only maxed out stock turbos, stage 2 f90s.
@@wickedpistonracing the s58 uses the same factory rods as the s63. Go look up the part numbers they are exactly the same, s58 needs the same 1000nm torque limit as the f90 on stock rods when modded otherwise they will bend. Mod for mod on equal fuel f90s and g80s have to be at the same limited torque for safety of crappy stock rods, while the v8 s63 makes way more power and is overall the better/faster car with equal reliability when both are tuned correctly with proper torque limitations in place for the stock engines (which many stupid tuners DONT do especially on the s63s because of how much MORE and EASIER they make torque down low vs the s58s, NOT the s63s fault at all). Go to a good tuner who knows the s63 platform well and knows what he’s doing and you will be fine, equally reliable, and faster in the f90 s63, over the g80 s58.
So far s63s with equal mods are showing themselves to be faster and are holding up, g80s however still breaking with a lot of the weak points fixed and are not any faster.
the presence a m5 has on the road because of the size is unmatched, it makes u feel like a boss driving it.

I'm a big guy as well. I'm about your size but around 6'1 and I was trying to decide between the M3 and the M5. I was wondering if you were comfortable in the M3 but I think you've sold me on the M5 due to the seats and the extra shoulder room.
The B pillar in the M3 got on my nerves on long drives. The extra room in the M5 is nice
@@WhatsyourForte ok. Yeah I can see that. It’s definitely in your line of site due to having to move the seat back further.
Have both, I prefer the g80.
Care to share why
The seats are the reason I prefer the M5.
Welcome to the club

I had a F90 before then an i8 and 2 months ago I bough a 2022 G 80. I kinda miss my M5 for the confort the dimention and power, not sure what to do !
Yeah sounds like you need to get another M5 😂
Great video brrotha
Appreciate it
All the people who believe the m3 drive is better than m5 need to go drive both back to back themselves. M5 is significantly better engine, feel presence ect.
M3 just handles better due to weight and size
Cool video 👍🏿
Thanks bro
should i get the xdrive version of m3/
If you can get it for MSRP yes
There are reasons why m5 costs more than m3
Yep
Anyone who thinks an M5 is a downgrade from an M3 is a kid.
😂 facts
🍿 🍿😄
😂
As someone who owns both… no the f90 is not better. Period
@@sauryvalerio4894 depends on what you want or need in a car
f90 over g80 any day

G80 awd is the way to go
He took that into account, conclusion is still that f90 is an upgrade over it overall.
I did not want to wait or pay the crazy markups
buy a g11 and tune it
G11?
HK in m3 vs m5 HK LOL
M5 is better as they did not reduce the system wattage until the G bodies
@@WhatsyourForte i have g31, HK is great.
i have listened HK in 3 series, that is weak system
G80 better. S58 will prove it in time
Depends on what you look for in a car. The S58 is no slouch. Just got to fix the weak points like every BMW engine
@@WhatsyourForte G80 M3 & E92 M3 best handling and steering in BMW history
So far s63s with equal mods are showing themselves to be faster and are holding up, g80s however still breaking with a lot of the weak points fixed and are not any faster.
@@av8743 yep
@Alejandro How do you feel about the G80x in comparison to the RS7? I have an RS7 and looking at getting a G80x. Please let me know.
