Lucy, it's so good to see you again!! I'm so relieved to see that you're alright. Congratulations on your engagement and on your newest achievements! I would love to see more videos from you! Thank you for coming back to this channel even though it may be challenging for you with all the new "stigma" around corsetry and with new eyes scrutinizing your life. I deeply appreciate your dedication to this channel through any anxiety you may be facing and I'm so excited to see more of you! :) Video idea: I'd love to see more on stealthing, like what kind of shapewear to wear over your corset to smooth out the boning channels. I think you once recommended a corset smoother from Contour Corsets but since Fran has moved out of the corset business, I'd love to hear any new recommendations!
Thank you for your sweet comment, and for understanding the situation! It was a lot of little things that built up, but I'm glad that things have mostly resolved (and what hasn't fully resolved, I'm barreling ahead anyway, haha). I love your idea about stealthing! Will try to put something together :)
I second the stealthing video! I wear my corset at work, but unfortunately can only wear waspies, and they make my body look so unnatural :( I cant hide it very well
Welcome back! Your videos have been so helpful! Oddly enough, while I did buy my first corset during this pandemic, it was only indirectly related. I am an "essential worker" so never went without income. I had been watching your videos, both old and new, for over a year after the thought occured that corsets might help my posture and back. I bought my first corset from Orchard and, after proper seasoning (thanks to your information on the process), wore it for the first time all day at work yesterday! It helped so much. My work is very physcially demanding and the corset did wonders for my posture. I am in less pain today because of it. It is a mesh waspie so that I can still have a lot of movement for work and Florida is a hot place. I am also more interested in stealthing (since I don't want to give the wrong impression as a medical professional- I, too, understand the stigma) than in wearing corsets externally. I am also really, really interested in stealthing overbust corsets for more well-endowed women for those days when I wear a dress or gown. My niece is also very interested in corsets and I shared your channel with her and explained that, if she can wear something you offer, she should buy through you (because I intend to for my next corsets). Until I am ready to buy from you, I won't be emailing you any questions. You're a professional and this is your work- why would you work for free when your videos and website are already chock-full of free information? I get asked all the time for advice or free work and I don't do it. But it's all just a part of your professional growth. Good job in standing up and saying that you can't invest time to reply to all these emails and not see purchases through your store. When I earlier came across a video where you mentioned that you have a small consulting fee, I applauded. I am sorry that not everyone respects your time- it is a constant battle. Since I haven't emailed you, I don't know, but perhaps an initial automated response might help; listing things you mentioned that you cannot respond to/help with (cannot help you with customer service pertaining to __________, free consultations only for what you carry, etc.). Then you wouldn't have to respond to those emails and focus on the ones that you can actually help and hopefully get commissions from. I get it, as a medical practioner I, too, WANT to help everyone- but it is also my income so I can't just go around helping everyone for free! That wouldn't be respecting myself as a professional. As far as Patreon goes, I would actually prefer to simply be able to make one-time donations through PayPal rather than via a Patreon subscription, even if it doesn't come with any perks. :) Thank you for the Solaced book, by the way. I read it while I waited for my corset to arrive and it was just so postive and full of hope for everyone.
Good to see you again Lucy! I've been very grateful to you for your support of threadmill desks, getting my own has been a lifesaver during quarentine. Best of luck with the wedding!
So glad you’re back! I just started corseting again after a 5 year break because of babies and divorce and just life 😆 Your videos are what first introduced me to corsetry years ago and now I’m back to relearn everything! Your content is amazing and I’m extremely grateful for your videos and your advice on sizing!
Sending you Blessings and Love. So happy to see you again. At my old age I was worried I would never see you again. You have always been so kind to me. Love from Niagara Falls, New York. My husband and I are praying to make it through this pandemic. Again good wishes to you and your family. 🦋❤️🦋
I just discovered your because of my renewed love of corsetry! I had two beautiful corsets made years ago by Isabella Costumier. Life happened and I put them away in a drawer and haven’t worn them in over 15 years. My niece follows you and sent me a link to your channel and you have ignited my love of corsetry once again! Thank you! You’re a sweet, beautiful woman with such knowledge on the subject. I enjoy your videos very much!
I literally just looked up your channel on monday [Australian] to see what was happening in the world of Lucy, only to find out that you hadn't posted in long while, I was deeply saddened and concerned, but just the next day you post this and I only just find it. I am so, so, SO glad I rewatched a couple of your videos so that the algorithm showed me this video, you are my go to person when it comes to corsets, and your websites help me a lot, and Just wanted to say, thank god you're okay, I was worried as all hell. We all love your content; and hope you thrive in future endeavours.
Congratulations on your engagement! Sorry you're not able to be together though. I'm really happy to hear that you're well otherwise, and I'm happy to see more videos from you.
thank you endlessly for all that you do for newbies and veterans alike. you are amazing and i thank you for your kindness and grace despite all that has been going on. power to you!
missed you welcome back. you are where I started for corsetrey before I made the dive and my starting point for research and understanding them. thank you :)
I just recently began watching you and started wearing a corset to help with my shoulder problems from bra straps! Foot idea: use a press on nail to cover it up 😊 my sister lost hers when we were younger so I understand the struggle of waiting for it to grow back.
Karina Griffin thank you!! For both your comment about the need for bust support without bra straps and for the toenail suggestion (I specifically make overbust review videos with viewers like you in mind because people ought to have more options than just bras, and a comfortable place to learn about alternatives!) And I will also check out the options for stick-on toenails! Thank you 😊
Well I definitely appreciate your reviews and all the information you provide! Aside from bras, there really aren't many options for someone with a small frame and a large chest. Thanks so much!
so glad to see youre (sorta) back and doing alright!! good luck with everything, it sounds like youve got a very full plate! congrats on the engagement!!
Welcome back! I get your newsletter so I had a good idea of what was going on, and certainly did watch loads of your videos at the beginning of the year because I was corset shopping. Good to see you :)
So glad you're back! Congrats on your engagement, and sorry to hear you are physically apart, that must be very difficult. I love watching your stuff, I always learn something :)
SO glad to have you back. CONGRATULATIONSS AHH! Also I got my first corset from you this winter and you were so wonderful and kind. thank you for how lovely and caring you are. One of the worlds most precious humans
So good to hear from you! Your videos really helped me find a good corset. I actually ordered my first corset from Orchard Corset and then two from Mystic City Corsets. I love them so much. They've really helped my back. I can't wait to see more videos from you
I recently started looking into corsets and have now watched many of your videos and see you as my go to when it comes to corsets!! I have just purchased my first corsets and they will be arriving soon, I'm super excited!!! Your information has really helped me to get caught up to speed on corsets and all the do's and dont's and tips and tricks. So glad you are posting videos again I hope to see more!!! Congratulations on your engagement!!! I hope you and your fiance will reunite soon!!
I found you through Orchard Corset!!! I had some questions about tummy flubb hanging under and they showed me your video with your Auntie's trick. I like your videos. Congrats on your engagement. I would love videos on large busted gals with smaller rib ages (though you may have already done them). Thanks I am glad you are well!
So good to see you! I found your videos about a month ago and became a subscriber, so the algorithm must have thrown me a bone! Can't wait for new vids ♥️
I missed your videos! I'm so glad you're back. Congrats on your engagement! Best wishes for your future. ❤ I know how tough long distance relationships are. My hubby is currently 800 miles away for military service. We've been long distance for nearly 2 years and it'll be about a year before we're able to live together again. I know it's intimidating when you start out, there's a lot to be said for taking things one day at a time. You'll get through this and Regarding modeling shoes with your toenail injury, maybe wrap a bandage or some athletic tape around that toe? You could even get some colorful tape and cut it into the shape of a toenail and stick it on, then paint your real toenails to match. 😂
Well, I appreciate you sharing. Because we all have been going through so much and hearing someone else's story is so humanizing and relatable...it really helps me by making me feel like I am not alone also. I am happy you got engaged that is so exciting. You are so wise with your decisions, and I love how you articulate your situation and your feelings in regards to it, also... in relation to your business. You have every right to want to be paid for your time.
Hi Lucy , So glad you are a-ok !! Super Congrats , on your engagement , I wish you both all the best . Thank you for the update , looking forward to many more videos. I am glad your extended family understands individual needs and desires , so glad for you , and helping to end all stigmas. Take care, stay safe , and thanks again for the update , Dreamer
Hi Lucy! I just discovered you and all of your incredibly informative videos, and I am so happy to know you are still here. THANK YOU for sharing your vast expertise and experience! You definitely have a new fan :-)
I'm so glad that you survived this last year! Thank you for coming back. Congratulations on your engagement! I just found your site, and you have been the most supportive and informed person to guide me through beginning corsetry. Thanks you. Keep up the good work.
Oh it’s so great to see you again! And you seem so light and happy! I’d love to see reviews on Mystic City corsets... I know they didn’t have anything that suited you but maybe that’s changed? Anyway stay well and look after yourself xx
Yey! Lucy is back!! I would love to have your review and the measurments of the various corset patterns as well! So many of us are looking into sewing our own corsets but the info on the patterns are much less available than for ready made ones. It can be quite confusing to choose one, and I would love to see you study/review them.
Vivianne that’s a great idea! I don’t do so much sewing anymore but I would be able to probably whip up a single-layer corset of certain popular patterns and discuss what body types they would best suit, and some pros and cons based on individual preferences 💕 it might be a little more labor intensive than other types of videos but I may be up for the challenge once I’ve caught up on my backlog. 😊
Lucy's Corsetry Yey!!!!! 🥳🥳 That would be so helpful to watch!! I was curious about Redthreaded, Atelier Sylphe corsets, Aranea black, etc... 🤩(I wonder if it could be an interesting option to have a “pattern” section in your gorgeous corset database with their ratios and length? ) 🧐 Downloadable patterns have a higher profit long term for the creators I think?
Yay Lucy you’re back! Hope to see more of your videos :) I think the sticker idea is cute. When I was in high school my fingernail fell off due to a brick falling on it. It was homecoming week so when I did my nails the day before the dance I just got a false nail painted it and glued it to my finger it was pretty convincing!
I was just rewatching a bunch of your videos to prep for my first corset coming in (I wanted to start waist training a year ago but never got around to it, so I wanted to refresh my memory) when I saw you posted. Congrats on the engagement, and I’m glad to see you’re safe and well.
Welcome back, Lucy! I was just wondering where you were. Congratulations on the engagement! Recently, many of my cousins are also getting engaged and married.
This is what I was going to suggest. When I was in school and playing basketball, both of my second toenails fell off and both big toenails split in half horizontally and the ends fell off *twice*. [Explanation: I would run *really* fast and then stop by basically sliding into the end of my shoe, and I was also going through puberty and growing really quickly so the shoes didn't fit by the end of basketball season.]
its been so nice to watch another video of you! take your time coming back, ill always be waiting! I've loved corsetry since I was born, and finally I've decided to take the plunge and make one. you have been invaluable!!!!
So happy you're back!! Yes, SESTA/ FOSTA is awful and EARN IT is poised to be bad too but I'm so glad you're doing well despite it. I've been watching you for years and I'm so happy to report I finally started waist training while you were gone. Anyway. We're happy you're back!!!
I'm sooo glad you're back and that you have all these wonderful life updates!! I've been binging you're vids and actually purchased my 1st corset from your shop. Take care Lucy 🌹
It's so good to see your face again. I love watching your content as a way to wind down, normally while doing my nighttime skin routine. So long as you still enjoy making videos, you'll always have plenty of us to cheer you on. 😁
You could set up a paid chat for callers using premium.chat or rumbletalk as an option when responding to corset advice. It might be an option that could work well for you Lucy since you have invested years of time into the topic in hundreds of ways that help so many people. I wish you the best Lucy.
I lost a toenail after slamming me for in the garage door and had to have it permanently removed. When I need to wear open toed shoes for a special occasion, I have the nail technician put an acrylic nail on the nail bed and match it to the rest of my pedicure.
Hey Lucy! I recently got into corsets, and my friend recommended your channel/site because of your knowledge and scope. I do have to hide it from my friends and family because of how they view it, including them thinking it's against feminism or something. Thank you for being here.
I’m new to your channel I’ve been watching your corset videos since I’m new to corsets. When you dropped the F-bomb I was like YES I’m gonna love it here 😂😂😅.
Hey long time no see! Congratulations on your engagement! I am very sorry about your current situation though. It seems that the pandemic has royally fucked up a lot of people's lives. Hopefully, you and your fiance will be reunited and planning a fabulous wedding in the very near future.
Lucy, it's so good to see you again!! I'm so relieved to see that you're alright. Congratulations on your engagement and on your newest achievements! I would love to see more videos from you! OMG I can't keep watching the video but congrats on the engagement. That is seriously life changing and beautiful.
Oh my goodness! That story with the shady apartment was a big yikes.
I am glad you were able to get away.
Me too! Thank you so much

We always watch you and keep up with you any way we can!
So good to see you! I found your videos about a month ago and became a subscriber, so the algorithm must have thrown me a bone! Can't wait for new vids ♥️
Congratulations on being engaged!!
Wooohooo! Congratulations on your engagement and your new home!
And it is lovely to see you back again on here! Xx
You'll get through this and

Glad you're back! The void is here to hear you.
Yay you're back!!! Congrats on the engagement!!!
It is so nice to see your face and hear your voice again! Congrats on your engagement and coming back to RUclips

HEEEEEEY!! There you are! you were missed and I look forward to more content from you.
I've actually missed seeing new videos from you.
I knew you were engaged before you said it. Your smile gave it away!
I agree! Lucy definitely looks happy & is glowing!
Tee hee!! 💖 I didn't think it'd be that obvious
I'm so glad that you survived this last year! Thank you for coming back. Congratulations on your engagement! I just found your site, and you have been the most supportive and informed person to guide me through beginning corsetry. Thanks you. Keep up the good work.

Would it help if I flooded in the comments???
Congrads on the engagement! How exciting!

So happy to see you post a new video! Yay!
Welcome back and congrats on the positives in your life.
I'm still here and it's glad to see you back!
Thank you for your ongoing support, Melisa!
I was just rewatching a bunch of your videos to prep for my first corset coming in (I wanted to start waist training a year ago but never got around to it, so I wanted to refresh my memory) when I saw you posted. Congrats on the engagement, and I’m glad to see you’re safe and well.
Yay! I'm so glad you're back!!
Welcome back, Lucy!
I was just wondering where you were.
Congratulations on the engagement! Recently, many of my cousins are also getting engaged and married.
My wife had both big toenails removed. She just paints the skin. Unless you're very close, you can't really tell.

Glad to see your back!

Still here, glad to hear you!
Welcome back! We’ve missed you.
I'm sooo glad you're back and that you have all these wonderful life updates!! I've been binging you're vids and actually purchased my 1st corset from your shop. Take care Lucy 🌹
Thank you so much!! 💕
Thank you Lisa, and thank your friend for sending you my way! 💕
Congratulations on your engagement

Hey long time no see! Congratulations on your engagement!
I am very sorry about your current situation though. It seems that the pandemic has royally fucked up a lot of people's lives. Hopefully, you and your fiance will be reunited and planning a fabulous wedding in the very near future.
