I tried making my own Minecraft mod that added Narwhal's to Minecraft however that failed, so now I'm going to replace the dolphin texture with a custom narwhal texture I have left over from my Minecraft mod!!!
Funny enough, entity model features didn't release until a week or 2 after I posted this video last year xD but it uses the same optifine folder as well so the steps are still the same :)
I did these steps but when I used the recourse pack, It showed the regular chicken model with the new textures but without the new model. Are you not supposed to move the body because I did.
You can move the body however you want! Just make sure you're using optifine and there might be a setting in the optifine video settings to disable custom entity models.

how do i open the "animation editor" code box?? mines not open and i cant find the tab to open it
instead of cem, I reccomend entity texture features and entity model features as it is more user-friendly and is up to date

I copied the head. Made it smaller. And moved it's texture to use just zombie skin.
