Today I will be making a cursed Minecraft mod in this video. The mod is called The Diffy Experience (also known as the greg mod or greg.jar) and involves escaping a scary and annoying mob called Greg. The creature will hunt you down and will progress through different stages, getting harder and harder. Can you defeat Greg?
some of you might say that this idea is plagiarized from the cave dweller video, and to that i say: no proof + L

This is not Skywars, or Hypixel or combat, trapping, racing, manhunt or related to other Minecraft skills in general. This is not me making Breaking Bad-related stuff like Heisenberg, Walter White, and neither will I be playing with the Weather mod. This is me making a cursed minecraft mod, which is a unique idea.

Just make a mod that keeps auto-jump on permanently, that there would be every annoying for a lot of people.

I love seeing newer people realize that coding is a strange and confusing beast that breaks for reasons beyond your comprehension and the fixes itself for the same unknowable reasons.
Always reminds me when java was telling me "boolean" doesnt work despite it working the day before (with literally no changes in between)
I coded a RUclips console-like downloader in Python, the code was not changed, yet it could just not work for a reason "cannot do thing to a nontype object" although the link, the libraries amd the code were fine. At least web services of RUclips download worked in such times.
I love that coding is the closest equivalent to dark magic we have in real life

I found a bug: If you leave when you are about to be teleported, sound stops and game basically soft locks. I basically won but because of this bug I have to start over. This is the diffiest experience ever. I will release a video how to complete this.

You can tell the fake PNGs from the real ones because the fake ones show that transparency pattern before you click on the preview image, the real ones generate the transparency pattern after you click them.
there is an option to filter non-transparent images

In it you can click "color", then "transparent".

I fucking died laughing looking at how it drags you to the surface.
When you said "they're gonna get forcefully pulled up to the surface" I thought it would just teleport them instantly, but the slow ascension through the blocks with the sound effects had me rolling.
I feel like one way to prevent people from uninstalling a mod would be to have it replace a whole load of items and blocks with identical ones from the mod before activating, so if you uninstall it half of your inventory and also the world just unloads

Preventing deletion of the mod without interfering with anything other than the intended and presented usage of the mod would probably be classified as grayware, because while it has some aspects of a rootkit, it doesn't do anything inherently malicious. Though, whether it _legally_ qualifies as malware is an entirely different topic, and it's outside the scope of my knowledge.

In MCreator you can't easily change the spawn egg name. It's always "name of entity" Spawn Egg. The only way I think it could be done is if you manually removed the spawn egg and manually created a new spawn egg item and recoded all the spawn egg functionality and named that spawn egg "Spawn Gregg"@@omegadragons321

A mod that disables a feature... much quality. Much wow.
I’m going into graphic design and have to deal with these constantly, so here’s a word of advice: The ‘fake’ transparent backgrounds are because you have to pay whoever owns the photo to download the actual transparent image. It’s insufferable, but you can tell if one is fake or not by the thumbnail. The preview image will have the checkerboard pattern already before it’s loaded in, while an actual transparent background won’t until it’s fully loaded.
Now make a modpack based on Greg and add some tech mods to it, you could name it GregTech

This reminds me of the time I played on a modded SMP with these knights that spawned literally everywhere that two-shotted you with iron armor and were very hard to kill with melee. They moved really slowly to make up for this.
Doing what any person with a brain would do, I used projectiles to kill them when I saw them. Well, it turns out that the knight captain just teleports behind you if you shoot it with any projectile and is strong enough to one shot you. Oh, amd they also teleport behind you if you hit them from any height higher than 1.5 blocks above them.
The items they drop are only slightly better than iron. I have no idea what the mod author was thinking. Greg is maybe slightly more annoying than those knights were.
What kind of mod is this? ☠️
@@Respear I think it might have been am earlier version of undead expansion. It sounds like in later versions they made them spawn either more rarely or in dungeon structures, but I'm not sure

Would be actually interesting to have a "Who survives Greg the longest" challenge
I thought he meant the Greg's forcefully spawn on the surface if you'd underground so they wait for you until you go up, but I was so happily wrong when I saw the player just...ascending to the surface.
If I had a nickel for every time a sadist learned how to code specifically to create an experience the player would have as little fun as possible in and made the main antagonist a giant spider creature with a person head named “Greg”, I’d have two nickels. That’s not a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice.
Secret: the reason it is called Greg is because of the mod Greg tech made by Gregorius T made that inflicts frustration and insanity by its 500 hour time of completion

the fact that you went "oh well i cant make it undeletable because it'd be malware, so i'll just have it slowly ramp up until its unplayable instead" is actually the most evil thing i can imagine in a mod without it _actually_ being malware

i played this mod before watching the vid. Quit in less than 30 min after opening the game. Because of happiness out of finally getting a true friend coming to help me make a house in a beautiful game such as minecraft. :DDDD

in the actually most annoying minecraft mod, Greg wouldn't kill you. he would have 1hp, and he would just attack you. But he would still delete random items in your inventory. And most importantly, he would be really small and hard to hit.
Further improvements:
greg inflicts The Greggle for 30 seconds and enables auto-jump when he hits you. don't lock it to permanently on, because that's less annoying than having to constantly disable it every 15 seconds.
The Greggle causes nausea and prevents convenient inventory actions like shift+clicking, and enables auto-jump when the effect ends.
tameable gregs, except all he does is randomly add corrupted items to your inventory instead of replacing them.
make greg fly and go through walls. so basically make him a vex. but he still replaces blocks in his path with corrupted ones.
greg armor made of greg souls and it looks like it's better than diamond, but it's actually as bad as leather
make nether portals send you to the Greg dimension
after attacking you, greg has a 25% chance to delete himself. because nothing is more annoying than a mob that killed itself rather than giving you the satisfaction.
finally, when you kill a greg, he spawns 1-4 gregmites. they are like vex gregs, except silverfish. killing a gregmite spawns 1-4 groguus, who do nothing but take up space and have 50 hp and are just baby yoda except hyperrealistic.
^^ this is good because everyone hates slimes, and everyone hates when mods add hyperrealism to the minecraft aesthetic. also they prevent you from building on that block until you kill them which takes annoyingly long especially if its in your base and there are gregs constantly.
The gregs in the caves at stage 0 is actually something really cool, like, they are just preparing their plans to annoy you

In the greg realm if even 1 greg hits you your whole inventory is instantly corrupted
Tame gregs by feeding them greg souls
Killing over 100 gregs in the greg realm and building the alter of greg destruction summons Final Greg to greg you
Defeating final greg summons Greg-God-Ry in the overworld to be like herobrine and send and army of greg's after you every 5 minutes, While stalking you and scaring the sh*t out of you.
Every enderman in the end is greg, The Dragon is Final Greg 2.0 and Greg-God-Ry becomes *_DIFFY_* Tells you the secret of existence and gregs all over you, And will greg your world if they kill you.

A concept for the diffy experience in the next update:
_Bob:_ Bob is Greg, But covered white. Bob will shoot some white liquids at you if you hit him, And he is invincible, But slower then Greg. Bob however, Can teleport near you, And will summon a white explosive block to spawn above you, And will trap you in a white liquid puddle to slow you down. Bob only comes if you kill more then 1 greg, And there is only 1 Bob. Bob is twice the size of greg. Bob also slows you down on hit, And revives gregs as the gregging dead. Bob is gregs best friend.
The Gregging Dead: Gregs but half covered in white stuff, And are slightly slower, But can shoot white stuff at you that spawns cob webs.

You forgot unpredictable teleporting, teleporting enemies are annoying to fight.
Theres also having an unreasonably large amount of health.
Summoning minions is also annoying cause it can never just be a one on one fight can it?

How long can someone survive in the greg dimension? Like, temporarily disable greg quickly, build a wall to build height so gregs cant get in or spawn in if you keep in small enough, and then leave the roof open so you wont get dragged up, then you can make tree farms and cobblestone generators and stuff and see how long you can self-sustain yourself while being confined and unable to leave.

The fake pngs aren't fake, you just have to go to the website they're from and download them with the site's own link. They do this so they can get you on their site to collect revenue from ads on the same page since they can't do that on google images :)

I think the better way to handle the wanting to quite is having it call you baby when Uninstalling it somehow
When I heard “annoying mod” and saw all the silverfish, I thought you were gonna include a thing where silverfish duplicate when killed (so whenever you squish one two more spawn)
Should still add that as a secret feature I think
Maybe have it so they don’t duplicate if you kill them a certain way, like shooting them with a bow or entity cramming
I have an idea updating this fellow, if you die to it. It steals your items legitly, if you killed it, it drops the stolen items.

0:21 Very strange that RUclips recommended me this video immedietly after my father got made at me because I was outside. He wanted to know if I wanted to ride on the golf cart we have but barely use. I was a little upset since I was clearly in the middle of something else (I was swinging on my swingset), but I said I wanted to go on a ride. But I didn’t get to because he was so appalled by me being a little upset that he put the golf cart away and threatened to lock me in the shed (yes, no joke, he literally almost locked me in the shed on purpose because I got a little upset).
