Your creativity and craftsmanship is amazing Ken! I supervised craftspeople at Walt Disney World for 28 years and am now retired! But I would of been so blessed to have had you there! We had amazing people! But I can't blame you for never never wanting to leave your beautiful home state! Enjoying so much your journey in God's wonderful life He has blessed you with!
Consider a block or two in front of the greenhouse in case you have to jump on your brakes. That should prevent your polycarbonate doors from sliding forward into the front of the trail.
Good Morning Ken, great video Ken and Dan +🐕🐓🐔. There is no such luxury as Retirement if you are carpenter ,cabinet maker . Glad that thru RUclips more people have got to appreciate the Quality of your craftsmanship. Inspiring the next generación to look and learn. 😊👍
Ken’s reaction to Lyle crowing was like hearing his baby say his first words. 😂😂😂 Aw, poor Kyia was just trying to say she makes “sounds” also. Ken, I’m not sure but a trailer smaller than the one you used for your garage builds may come in handy for delivering small(er) projects like the green house. Any small(er) project that fits in an enclosed trailer. I love all of your videos but I laughed so much with this one.
Hi Ken! I just found your channel while looking up ideas to build an apartment-over-garage on our newly purchased land in the mountains, before we build our main cabin. I am SO INSPIRED and my husband and I will be taking your design to our architect later this month to get plans submitted for our owner-build (I’m a GC). I also cannot wait to watch your videos on chicken coops and greenhouses, since this will be a partial off-grid homestead. You are the kindest person and it’s so wonderful how you show your process and explain things so well yet easy to follow along. We’re absolutely thrilled to binge watch many more hours of your content over the coming weeks as we plan to turn our dream into a reality. Many blessings to you on these next phases of your journey. Can’t wait to share updates soon! 🙏🏼
Dan is right, the Biblical reference is to Peter denying Christ three times before the cock crows. The Bible even says that when he heard the rooster crow, he remembered the prediction from Jesus and was ashamed of his lack of courage.
Yes ken! Whom wvery bought this greenhouse is getting bargain/plus these small buildings movables is a market and the price of veggies and fruits has went up as well, 2 tomatoes for 2.37 at wally world, yikes its no brainer! Great video Ken.😊
Ken you are so funny and seeing you excited over the rooster crowing put a big smile on my face. What I would have given to have a boss like you when I was learning carpentry back in the early 90s. Lots of mean guys teaching hard lessons back then, made for long, miserable days. Which is why I quit framing and got into cabinetry :D
Did you notice how after he dropped the greenhouse down on the trailer, ol' Hoss briefly looked down to see if he still had all his thumbs and fingers?😅
You could of used your eye bolts to pull it on the trailer. To bad your trailer doesn't have a jack on the front end to hold the trailer tilted. good job on the rest of it. Thank you Dan.
Y'all need a winch on the front of that trailer. I noticed you had eye bolts on the bottom front skids of your greenhouse for moving it. On your trailer I would mount the winch on the front top and face the rope downward. Pop a hole in the front cowling just below the winch at deck level and add a sturdy pulley so the rope will come through the back and be held by the pulley at deck level. That front cowling may need a little reinforcement with some metal channel so the front doesn't bend in for heavy pulls. This will give you the ability to winch anything you build in the future straight up the ramp . If you film it, the work will provide more content for your channel as well. Glad to see you had Dan to help you out for this one. Stay safe.
I can just hear the people in town as you roll through .... "there goes that Krazy Kens Karpentry .... what the heck is he up to now?" So Lilly🐔is now Lyle🐓 .... who knew🤣 Well, you got the greenhouse from Pt. A to Pt. Z, so to sum up what you did wrong could best be described as .... nothing!🤣 although I thought I saw Kaiya🐕roll her eyes a few times. But that could be because "Lilly" was now crowing? Take care Ken & family, plus it was nice to see Dan in a cameo appearance ✏📐🔨🪚✌🏻👣
Nice adventure! I'm gonna miss the greenhouse, but you'll probably build something again next year. It turned out awesome. Was fun to watch from start to finish. Congratulations to the new owner.
❤ Good Morning 🌞🌅Ken👍 Awesome you sold Your Garden House 👌Ilove that Garden House! Wow so Awsome how both of you got that Hot House on the Trailer!👍👌🤞✌️ Really you need some wheel built in the Hot House with a Handle so you can pull around 👍👌🤞✌️🌅🌞🌻🌟🙏🙌🤩🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🌙🌠☕☕☕🇺🇲
Hen, you could really use a small electric winch on the front of that trailer to pull loads onto the bed and it could also hold onto those two eyebolts.
Winch to fully pull it up?? Or you need a small tractor with bucket and forks to lift and push some! But I'm just a sidewalk superintendent observing on a tiny screen! If you continue building your buildings remember the guys delivering sheds have really awesome mule machines to lift and move them! Way to crow rooster! Maybe you guys are something to crow about!
I thought at one time you had a winch on that trailer. Then you had eye bolts under/on the skids so you could winch stuff like that onto the trailer. Nice delivery. Looking forward to the next one. Maybe something panelized to be put on a permanent perimeter foundation or slab.
My husband said. Use the Jack to lift the back of the trailer The eye bolts I would have put a rope or chain in them and tied to the front of the trailer or a wench Then when unloading put the Jack under the front when you unlock the bed. And Jack it up so the greenhouse slides off
If you make another one, you might consider painting all the framing, before attaching the panels. That green is a nice neutral woodsie color. Congratulations on the sale. I was surprised you didn't take it for a weigh and showoff to the lady at the scale house. Free advertisement.
You had wood boards gentlemen to lever it onto the trailer once you were on it. Use the Force. Also could have winch from the bed of the truck. Happy Wednesday love the road trip.
Investment in a winch with a snatch block system so you can pull on the trailer and then use the snatch block to pull it off. The skids underneath need a hole in each end to attach a chain to pull from.
Someone already mentioned drilling the skids, so you have an attachment point for future moves but was thinking about securing to the trailer better for eventual travel / delivery. Some 3/8" eye-lags up high on the corner boards can give you a place to add rachet straps. If they are on front / back (not sides) you can crisscross straps to minimize shifting on washboard roads. Rigging for loads is something I did quite often in my last job.
1”-1.5” pvc pipe (perhaps 2-3) under the building, would have rolled on very easily- or even a steel clamp pipe without the clamps. Onto the rooster- some people on short videos are testing the sex of their chickens, by holding them by their feet, upside down, and if the chicken is a hen, it will not straighten out (lay back toward the ground) and rooster they say will straighten out…it would be a fun experiment with your knowing he is a rooster now. You can check all your birds to know for sure. I really love the chicken coop!
My thoughts are good job on loading the greenhouse but I thought Mr Dan might lose a hand or two once there for a minute. Coco doodle do is gunna need several more hens because now he will be relentless with his well um full grown rooster needs if you know what I mean. And they always seem to have a favorite hen and that’s hard on her. I think my son has 7 hens and one Roo and I think 20 would be better. 🤓
The addition of a small electric winch might make loading and unloading easier. As for your roster, you are out in the country. Why does a "Mocking bird Sing"? The same reason a roster crows. It is a territorial marking. They are announcing to all that can hear, this is my territory!
Good morning. What a great deal for someone to have that greenhouse. I still like the little red schoolhouse down there behind it. Have a wonderful day, it’s 113° here today in Arizona.
Concerning your last comment about the empty space. It is Summer, how about a Children's Playhouse or Outdoor Gym that can be built in segments? "Kyle" also sounds more manly than "Lyle" for the Rooster. Perhaps even a doghouse for your dog?
Ken...installing hooks on front and back runners would allow for a small winch set up on front of trailer. Leave hooked up while driving to hold it down. Then a pully centered on rear of trailer to run cable through and hook up under back to the front. This would help pull off trailer to unload.
we all need a good guy like DAN in our lives
Right
a portable electric winch that can be transferred between both trailers might be a cheaper option than an older tractor
True
It's always great to see Dan, and so it seems Lyle was, too.
Haha Lyle hasn’t crowed since Dan was here
So glad you have good friends willing to help you, Ken. You are blessed! However, now there is a "vacancy" on the Kenstead. Hmmm . . . 🤔
Thanks wait until Friday even more room
@@kenskarpentry Will the tiny house be leaving on Friday??
Thank heaven for Dan! That wasn't the safest method, but you got the job done! A winch at the front of that trailer will work next time! 🎉
Right
Your creativity and craftsmanship is amazing Ken!
Oh very nice. Thanks
That was a smooth move. The straps bolted down at the rear were a great idea. You always knew that Dan was a "handy kind of guy".
You bet
Consider a block or two in front of the greenhouse in case you have to jump on your brakes. That should prevent your polycarbonate doors from sliding forward into the front of the trail.
Good idea
That was a surprise, Ken. But a good one. Always good to see Dan too. ❤
Thanks
Glad you had Dan to help you load that! In between all the giggles and the rooster crowing you got the job done!!! 😂👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks 👍. Haha
Wonderful you were able to sell the greenhouse, looking forward to the next adventure😊🌻❣️🌷🇺🇸
Yes! Thank you!

I think you should build a couple of them before winter sets end, so people can use them before planting season. 😊
I may build some this winter
Goooooooooooood morning Ken! Your youthful attitude is infectious. Retirement seems to suit you well!
Good morning! Thanks I’m enjoying it
Dan's a BIG boy!!!
Sure is

WoW that’s exciting. Definitely keep me updated!
Dan is right, the Biblical reference is to Peter denying Christ three times before the cock crows. The Bible even says that when he heard the rooster crow, he remembered the prediction from Jesus and was ashamed of his lack of courage.

Tolles Video und Hallo Dan schön dich mal wieder zu sehen 👋👋👋👋☺☺☺☺😁😁😁😁😁👍👍
Thanks it was good having his help
Would’ve been awfully tempted to put Dan in an armchair inside for the trip just to watch the heads turn…😂
Oh. Good idea
Hi Ken & Dan. That waas a good sale Ken & good help from Dan.
Take care.
Thanks 👍
Watching you guys working together is better than cable. 😁
Haha thanks

Thanks definitely going to build one or more next year
It would have been nice to keep but now you have some funds for another project! Good to see Dan. Great video. Blessings
You got that right! Thanks
Tilting is the way to go but then use a big ratchet strap to pull it the rest of the way up
Good afternoon. Good idea
Good morning. Wheel sounds good
You guys are awesome!
Thanks
Ken,
I love the video.
I think an Adirondack swing for the empty space would be a nice project.
Yes or a hammock
Always good to see Dan but where's that other guy Chad? I like the old architecture and the small town atmosphere.
Thanks. Chad is super busy working
Hen, you could really use a small electric winch on the front of that trailer to pull loads onto the bed and it could also hold onto those two eyebolts.
Right
I think you should give Sasquash a call.
I agree
Hi Ken
More room available now for another adventure projects, your like a comedy duo Brilliant
Haha
Your Wild Prince is Communicating with you 😉👍🤩🇺🇸
Haha
Congratulations on your selling of the greenhouse Ken and Kaiya 👍😮😊❤

Very pretty town. Congratulations on selling that marvellous little greenhouse
Thank you!
I thought at one time you had a winch on that trailer. Then you had eye bolts under/on the skids so you could winch stuff like that onto the trailer. Nice delivery. Looking forward to the next one. Maybe something panelized to be put on a permanent perimeter foundation or slab.
The winch is kind of light duty
Enjoyed the video and it is god to see Dan.
Thanks
My husband said. Use the Jack to lift the back of the trailer

Good training for the BIG delivery, good job Dan, thanks.
You bet
Looked like Moe and Larry. Just missing Curly.
He was on another job site
If you make another one, you might consider painting all the framing, before attaching the panels. That green is a nice neutral woodsie color.

Good idea. Thanks
I love to watch your videos. You keep them very interesting.
Glad you like them!
I can see a little village there, maybe a ride on train running thru town?
Haha right
Hi Ken next time a couple PC of pipe under the house make it easy to move on the trailer
Cool thanks
Investment in a winch with a snatch block system so you can pull on the trailer and then use the snatch block to pull it off.
The skids underneath need a hole in each end to attach a chain to pull from.
I agree. Thanks
❤ BUCKLE UP SONG‼️
Oh the memories 😊
Hahahaha
IF the Trailer had a Power Winch on it you could just winch the Greenhouse up on it !
The winch I have is to small
Fun to watch. Now I want to move to Woodstock VT. What a nice looking town. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks. Pretty little town
I think you need that motorized trailer moving gizmo & trailer that picks up the trailer like a dumpster.
That would be nice
Someone already mentioned drilling the skids, so you have an attachment point for future moves but was thinking about securing to the trailer better for eventual travel / delivery. Rigging for loads is something I did quite often in my last job.
Yes, I had already drilled three-quarter inch holes front and back on the skids and had 5/8 eyebolts through there for chains to hook to
would consider running a set of duplex nails along the bottom to help hold it down? Great show as always.
Great idea thanks
Enjoyed this video. Lovely greenhouse. Sure brings memories back watching Kaya (sp). Sure miss my Corgi…..just don’t miss the horrific shedding! haha
Glad you enjoyed it. She does shed
Oh boy who don't like road trip, good video Ken.
Thanks. Right

Good morning to you
Glad it traveled well
Thanks me too
Do you need Dan to load it? He’ll probably be a big help unloading it. Just a thought God bless.
The owners brought in muscle on site
Every time you build something you need to put it on skids 😂
Haha absolutely
You could have utilized the eyes to pull the greenhouse onto the trailer as a suggestion.
True
The addition of a small electric winch might make loading and unloading easier. As for your roster, you are out in the country. Why does a "Mocking bird Sing"? The same reason a roster crows. It is a territorial marking. They are announcing to all that can hear, this is my territory!

I thought the green house was for your own plants. You need to put a winch on the front of the trailer to make your life easier when loading items.
Winch would be nice
No problem. This ain't your first rodeo. After one, comes another. Good work Men.
Thanks 👍
Good day to all, peace and have fun. Nice move.
Good morning. Thanks
@@kenskarpentry Yep
Great how’s Dan’ boy doing
Very well
There’s a market for all those things you built. Really surprised the play house hasn’t sold. Would have used two ratchet straps also.
True. I just sold the playhouse
This gave me so much anxiety 😂
Haha sorry
Nicely done my friend..🌴🐊😎
Thanks
Show the world you care by the clothes you wear, buckle up for safety, everybody, buckle up.
Hahahaha that’s it!
🤩😍😍👍👍👍
Cockerels usually start crowing about 12 weeks of age.
Then he was right on
Good morning.
What a great deal for someone to have that greenhouse. I still like the little red schoolhouse down there behind it. Have a wonderful day, it’s 113° here today in Arizona.
Good morning. WoW 113 degrees
But its a dry heat..... Ha Ha!!
A four inch angle iron four feet long with a hook on it and have a winch and pull it on
Cool thanks

A doghouse would be a REALLY tiny house.

Great Job.
Thanks
Lyle said he wont be giving you any eggs 🐓🤫.
Haha
Hi Dan!!!!!!!!!
Great job
Thanks
After a few more crows and early morning hours you’ll wish he would stop.
Probably. He hasn’t crowed since Dan was here
Don’t forget the rain barrels.
Yup gone
Where's Sasquatch when you need him?
Right
If you an find an older farm tractor with forks on the front, it would make loading about anything you build easier to load/unload
It sure would
ken, you forgot to take the water barrels
They were in the truck
@ 16:02 I think a simple ratchet strap would solve all you problems / the large semi trailer loading type
Cool thanks
Should have had a winch on front of trailer.
Right
Sign me up for a greenhouse next year!
Cool I’ll put out a notice in January or so and we can do it. Thanks
The roof looks like lifting a little
Oh I didn’t see that
stand up on trailor
Right
🇨🇦👍
Bosses. They're all the same. They never stop being boss. My wife tells me all the time.
Haha
