- I Played Cyberpunk 2077 in 2023, is it truly worth playing? Lets find out in this video. Cyberpunk 2077 has been released for quite a while, has the game improved? Is the game finally worth playing? #cyberpunk2077 #gaming
Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality.

Is cyberpunk 2077 anything like mad max for the Xbox one
In 2077 it will be a good game, I promise
It will be - in 2077
Already is funny guy
It’s already great
It won’t be a game in 2077
bruh im sick of playing the same ol shit and these wack ass games until remnant 2 comes out. I was really tryna find HOPE in cyberpunk and you really just broke my heart
The no traffic thing is seriously noticeable.. I absolutely hate that in CyberPunk. Also agree with the lifelessness of the city. I think GTA 5 has greatly spoiled me in what I expect from an open world game now...
On PC, high crowd density, it is really a lots of cars and NPCs. Now car drivers became mad if you shoot in the air and NPCs fight back. I assume on PS5 the performance mode lowers the crowd density and RT mode basically gives some RT and more pedestrians and cars, somebody should test it imo. And on console they really should add more options than 2.
Go play Watch Dogs 2 it has an amazing open world
@@thedopeson way to old everybody should been played it by now anyways

I'm playing it for the first time, after I bought it on release. It was so bad on the PS4 that I decided to just pick it up once I had the PS5. I'm loving it now. Very immersive. The world still feels empty at certain points and there are bugs around, but the game is very good now.
Very true
I just recently got it on PC, I can't stop playing it man it's becoming a problem. the only time I am not on it is when I am at work
I managed to complete a ps4 playthrough believe it or not
Same here I picked it up for sale and I’ve been enjoying it so much, the world that they created (even tho is empty in some places) is something that is underrated asf
Gameplay sucks though
Only a higher end PC can realize the full potential of the game. I haven’t experienced any of those problems you mentioned, and for me it’s a wonderful game.
Strange my friend had a hard time starting this especially with ray trace
That’s good to hear tbh. How does the game look on ultra settings?
I play the game with a 4080 using Frame Generation. In 4K with everything maxed out in DLSS Quality, it just looks stunning. The only graphical downside is that CDPR obviously used some low textures here and there for optimization, but there are texture mods for that. Better Surface Textures uprenders over thirty low res textures. Even better, the modder who first overhauled the textures of Witcher 3 (Halk Hogan) is releasing a similar mod for Cyberpunk on March 12th.
On PS5 no issues either
@@SKBKER how do you have 9000 subscribers with absolutely no content tho
I am new to this game, moving over from GTA O around 3k hours. Couple hours of play currently feels a little clunky I am sure I will fit into it BUT I was hoping for something a little different. I mainly got it to test a new GPU.
I just bought the game on PC and I'm loving it, although I have noticed quiet roads here and there. Driverless cars I haven't noticed but would give a pass too, as long as it's not **every** car. After all, they can be driven by AI of course, the best example being Delamaine or V's vehicles.
My computer is struggling to run it at times, but that's just because it's a bad computer. I'm really enjoying the story and world so far
I mean I see your points but I still love this game. To each their own I guess (not everyone's cup of tea). It has a ton of depth, especially if you take on the side quests which actually triumph over the main storyline considerably. To me it looks gorgeous and the city is very immersive. It's fine not everyone will like it and you make valid points, but overall I still love it.
I have a question? Been reading through game lore and some recent play throughs. It seems that 1. Yorinobu opposed his father's use of soul killer, 2. Yorinobu was supposed to be a vessel for Soboros psyche, 3. That the chips would only work on a body with compatible genetic code ie a relative, 4. Johnny spent time with the nomads as well as being from night city...so he could have had a kid 5. If the cip only works with compatible dna than V is probably related to Johnny. Thoughts
I don't think it actually matters either way tbh
*What are your thoughts on Cyberpunk?*

The anime repopulated the game damn

If i played it when it came out i wouldve been let down big time but given all the horrible reviews im actually pleasantly surprised instead lol. I freaking love cyberpunk, but still even from the launch day it is still the same game. Till the next update is when it will finally be worth playing according to people’s expectations. Played on xbox one then on pc and finally I played on xbox series x. Played from worst experience too best and I loved every minute of it.

Nice vid, tried to play this last year and hated it (but so wanna love it)😢 After watching this, I will give it another year 😅❤👍
On Consoles Cyberpunk is different in some points to the PC port. The spawning of Objects is less but still pretty noticeable as well traffic and over all the population seems different as well. But it still feels like you said lifeless. But overall from the released version to the current build it got better. I still hope that at least in near future the game gets better

I mean the Witcher 3 is one of the best games ever made. I was hyped for CDPR's next offering the second I heard about it. Their reputation has taken a hit though since they clearly rushed this one.
I think they forgot about the fact that when you're making an open world game, you're also inherently making a sandbox game regardless of what the game's main genre is. It doesn't matter how astonishingly beautiful your open world is if there's nothing to do.

The lack of npcs and cars driving around killed the experience for me. I felt alone the whole time and to me, that just doesn't work in an open world game played inside a city.
@@Spoonforkbowl That sounds like an excuse... I am an indie game dev and when I design "open world", you make sure to make it feel very lived in, with or without npcs all around you and Cyberpunk failed this. Have you watched Cyberpunk Edgerunners? I hope you will if you didn't watch it, it's a masterpiece..
No one noticed that there are ABSOLUTELY NO BIKES driven by NPC's!
that "bug" you mentioned of cars spawning/despawning behind is called memory allocation almost every single game does this to make room for new things that you can actually see
Problem with Cyberpunk is that this system is unnecessary aggressive.
I recently got Cyberpunk on PC for the first time on pc, and I've played it so much. it's really fun, and for a newcomer (like myself) I would absolutely recommend it. I've also not gotten any mods whatsoever.
I love Cyberpunk. Story is deep, at least for me, it's about what is important in life. Paradoxically by adding shit tons of technology to the game, they made it focus on the humans, just like in dune. It's about a choice everyone has from the start. Live long and quiet life without achievements, or achieve anything and die young, tho it's only one side of the coin. Because by living fast, focusing on money and getting famous you will lose loved ones, and by living quiet life you'll get them.
And besides, climate is great.
The underlying lore is absolutely amazing. It has a fleshed out world, tons of political intrigue, in-depth tech and societal structures. The story, well... barebones is the best descriptor. Extensive use of a MacGufffin called the relic, poor character development, a myriad of plot contrivances, etc. Its definitely living up to the "story in a game is like story in a [c]orn movie" motto. Good enough to get invested in at points. Like the video said, definitely not a game to play for the story. That being said, the characters are great.
See, no climate change in 2077.
@@webslinger325 oh, sory in poland we have "klimat" which is same word for climate and atmosphere, sorry.
I’m so glad I caved and finally got this game. A genuinely beautiful experience. The characters are memorable and the gameplay is addicting.
I don’t get how the gameplay is addicting. I’m really trying to get into it. I read everywhere that „game is way too easy on hard and very hard Blabla“ I don’t suck at video games but to shoot an enemy 100x in the haea just to get killed by 2 bullets after is fucking stupid. And the shooting just feels off. I want to be immersed in the world but I always put down the controller after 1 hour of playing.
@@philpfaff7999 the games just too horrible to enjoy really
I’ve never played it but it’s on sale so I’m thinking of getting it
If you did you're research, the 'Raytracing' option only adds more shadow fidelity. As you can clearly see in the footage the 60fps mode still has Ray Tracing out the wazoo. Also the graphics especially when just staring into the skyline of Night City is breathtaking.
Sure it's still a little buggy but so Is Skyrim and I dont hear anybody complaining.
This game shouldve gotten the same energy as Battlefield 2042
Now that it’s free on ps+ it’s gonna be otherwise.
Was looking at it given it's currently discounted on PSN but thanks for this, as I'll pass until a deep sale in a year or two and hopefully better performance on current gen consoles.

Don't worrry, there is a mod can give you a psycho traffic which makes you feel that you can ride a bike all day. And NPC will act to shoot you randomly when you installed Lives in Night City mode. But only it is available in PC.
I love cyberpunk 2077 ps4
As someone who has been stuck on this game for 2 weeks when I had all but given up on games? Yes. F*ck yes it is.
Free character customization and the the ps5 update really did it for me.
I really though this game would be a step up from Red Dead Redemption in terms of gameplay (completely mistaken). It literally feels like a beta version of a futuristic Witcher 3. Every time I download the game and run in the sunlight, I take a look at my character shadow, smile, and uninstall the game.
The gameplay just isn’t fluid at all. It’s a shitty shooter and sub-par role playing game. The actual story isn’t bad but there are plenty of other games that actual tell the player a story with a purpose (besides some meta level bs).
I’ve played a couple rounds of the entire game now and I loved it. I just wish the entire gaming community wasn’t as apathetic towards companies. That way we could get games released in their complete forms.
That’s all I want, games to be released polished and finished. Rarely happens these days
In all honesty the game is a solid 8/10 yes the NPC interactions are still bad but I’m mostly all about gameplay, story, and graphics. Playing this on the series X looks great, I did run into one bug during the whole play. The gameplay is mostly smooth except melee, The story is the best part of the game, the characters, plot points, and endings had a emotional impact on me. I love starting as a corpo rat then leaving with the nomads. Also because of Panam ;) Im waiting for 1.7 to release and phantom liberty to play again.

It's so upsetting that CDPR just gave up on CP2077. They had us hyped for nearly a decade before it's release, but worst off all, it has *so much* potential to be made incredible... To have it's full vision realized. Instead, they just said "screw it" when the playerbase dropped due to it's state on release, but they knew what state the game was in and I had to have known this would happen. It's amazing what modders are doing with the game, and I hope they keep it up. However, it's not their job to finish the game. CDPR was so confident in this game & Mike Pondsmith's Cyberpunk IP that they forked out the 💰 to have an anime made before it was even released. A great anime by a great studio, at that. So good, that it made players return because they were nostalgic for a game that was still in a bad state. The player base jumped massively because of that and the new copies it sold. People were reminded how great the vision for this game was and we started to hope that this new boost in popularity would incentivize them to continue the game... but nope. It was just another c*ck tease. They were only able to have the anime made because of the insane amount of preorders and projected sales...which they got. This was the most talked about and hyped game since they dropped the teaser trailer. Pretty much everyone bought it when the preorder released. What made the abandonment of this game hit so much harder was the fact that CP2077 wasn't just built up on hype alone. CDPR were actually highly praised for their consumer friendly practices at the time. They were very trusted and had the good-will of the gaming community, even when the game released in a bad state. Sure, people were disappointed, and a minority of people acted ridiculous, but most people believed that they would make it right. Instead, they strung us all along for a while doing the bare minimum, and teased us with a roadmap... Only to abandon it and all future dlc, except for one. That's really unacceptable business practice. Especially for CDPR. Instead of finishing the game, they put the revenue made from CP2077 into another project, then pulled all the devs off and threw together a W3 remaster, which was really made possible by the modding community. It is really a cool and innovative thing how they paid & credited these modders on a AAA release, but why couldn't they at least do something like that with CP2077?? It's not like the modding community is already out here trying to fix and even finish the vision of their game or anything...
Anyway, I apologize for the rant. This is the last bit I'll say, and I know people have said this so much now that people are forgetting the seriousness of it but...
*Fking No Man's Sky pulled it off and then some, and they're a small team of indie devs!* They're probably the only game that had as much hype as CP2077, and also failed on release... but much harder. Nobody thought it could be fixed and Hello Games lost *ALL* the trust & goodwill that was given to them. "No Man's Sky" became a verb for hyped games that don't deliver. Yet, they fixed their game, delivered what was promised, added even more, *and they're still at it* releasing massive dlcs years later... *For free.* They earned more trust than they ever had, made an incredible game, brought back a very loyal player base, and still sell new copies. Now "pulling a No Man's Sky" means the exact opposite. They, quite literally, came back from the dead, and they're an indie studio ffs. *There's truly no excuse for horrible practices like this in the gaming industry anymore.* Rant over. 😅
they're still developing and constantly putting out patches for the game
The thing about no npcs in some cars might be intentional, that they are self driving with this game being in the future and all

I love cyberpunk setting, it was always really intriguing to me, but I've heard horror stories of this game lunch, so I decided to stay away from it for a while. Also my PC wasn't really up to date back then (had gtx 1050ti). I started playing it 3-4 days ago and so far it's actually fun. Great looking game, immersive, great soundtrack, Keanu Reeves and I honestly didn't encounter any noticeable bug so far. There were only two visual glitches in exact same mission, 1) Jackie walked through some locker 2) one of the enemies had his head and arm stretched, like a lot. However, other then that, I didn't notice any bugs, visual glitches or game having broken dialogues or quest lines SO FAR. (couple of hours into the game). Also I am getting very stable 100fps and game runs very smooth.
Obviously, things might have been different on lunch and game in in much better shape now. Horror story of Cyberpunk 2077 lunch is one of the many reasons why I no longer buy games right away, because it became common practice to release games in half-finished state and continue finishing them... I mean, "patching" them over the next year or so. This is why I now prefer to wait couple of months or even a year for game to actually be playable and finished (if ever)

Idk. Having it on a PC that the settings optimized it for ray tracing and not experiencing frame drops in the 4 days I've been playing it it looks much different than that. The city does feel alive, cars and pedestrians constantly. The only time traffic becomes light is on the outskirts of the city. Ai is pretty dumb but that's all I can say so far. But in the city traffic is plenty as well as pedestrians. Maybe that's just my PC who knows
I think what people tend to forget is that this game is very much a WIP, it was released way too soon thus the problems at release… with updates coming now and then, the Phantom Liberty dlc/or update around the corner I’m very much hopeful for this game.
I personally like the game as the story is great and I love the versatility in terms of the various character builds you can make, however there’s still bugs and bad fps to consider… I would still recommend the game as I personally enjoy it and know a bunch of people who probably would too.
It’s definitely not the best game on the market, but with all the goodies that’s coming and all the fixes that’s already been done I must say it’s a decent enough game.
See y’all I’m out✌️😎
I was thinking of buying this game. I've got an xbox series x and it's £24.99 at the minute. I'm not sure if it's worth it or not after watching this. You definitely highlighted all the negatives. But literally everyone else says it keeps getting better and all this talk. Compared to the release date I'm sure it has improved. But I'm completely torn. 3 years on and I'm still not sure it's worth it. I don't like buying games that aren't finished. Especially when they've been out this long. If it comes to game pass I'll play it but at the minute I'll stick to Hogwarts. At least that game is good, on launch too. I got the early access to Hogwarts and so far I've encountered 2 bugs. And that was just durring cut scenes not gameplay.
I get why people are mad in the comments but I respect the honesty. You're completely allowed to have your opinion. Free fucking world bro.
I bought this game at the same price recently for my Series S. the game has bugs for sure but gameplay, characters, night city & story are the reasons to play this game. There are issues with the game if you go into the minor details but if you can ignore it, game is awesome.
Hogwarts is mid compared to cyberpunk bro I was playing cyberpunk got hogwarts I was excited too cause I'm a big Harry Potter fan and it turned out disappointing I couldn't stop playing cyberpunk
You can get it for 15$ on g2a
Hogwarts Legacy is a better purchase and a way more polished game even now.
if only it had better reviews
@@jasonprendergast7493 Are we looking at the same video?
@@shawcobra yea it’s a pretty big disaster of a tittle
@@mojojoji5493 it sold 20 million copies its far from that
@@kinga.t.242 lol so did halo infinite but you don’t see gamers approving that crap.
you can’t really say that when everyone agrees on what happened to this game
This is a bad take. He must be playing it on an old console
Old? It’s the console for came out for lmao
I still have it in its wrapping, im not opening it until the game is good.
Welp, I just brought this game today and I haven't played it yet. This video just put off it now.😂
We need to face the fact that we will never ever get to the point of experience that we were expecting from the trailers and showcases. The community for this game is extremely dead and because of that CDPR is just going to put in a lack lustre effort in trying to live this game up to what they promised. And it’s so sad, because I really was excited.
I'm still waiting for a great developer to pick up this genre and do justice with it. I'm waiting patiently
Is the Cyberpunk community really that dead? I only browse the subreddit, but it seemed fairly active to me. Once CDPR reclasses this expansion, they're gonna start work on the sequel. Wonder how that'll turn out.
Why would they make a sequel to a game that's so fucked up and broken?
@@Drewthemagnificentyou answered your own question
I literally destroyed the game on ps4 slim and never had a annoying bug or glitch after the recent patch. So yeah this game in really good but if you just Rush the story its boring but if you do sidemissions its the best game
Finally someone who also has a PS4 Slim.
Thanks for you comment m8.
I was not sure to buy it or not.
@@FlyingBeast009 its worth it man the sidemissions are really good and creative
Good main story and sides.
Lol that’s a lie
@@yurikofefe6196 how would you know that bruh keep hating on cyberpunk
Hard to believe this was developed by the same studio that made TW3, a game that came out nearly a decade ago.
I loved it on ps4. Thought the story was good and looked past the cosmetic issues.
No traffic was annoying though. Got the Platium Trophy and haven't looked at it since. Now I have a next gen console I'm considering getting it again 🤣🤣🙈🙈
Wait i think i figured it out , Cyberpunk 2077 means it will be fully complete in 2077
Ur right
I play on ps5. Its mid. Its still very...stiff. the npcs still spawn in 5 ft in front of you when driving. Alot of other glaring spawn and ai problems that really take you out of the moment. Its a B- at its very best. And at its worse its still a janky mess D+.
I'm playing on ps5 also and havent had any NPC spawning in front of me like that. I've definitely had some technical hiccups here n there, but theres just so much I love about the game. 10/10 for me.
@@stevenewsom3269 maybe theyve updated it? I stopped playing a few months ago. Havent heard of any updates, but traffic and crowds of NPC feel very.....well npc energy.
Huh? I’m on PS5 and I’ve never seen anything close to what you’re saying.
@@RayTheomo game is very buggy
I think I’ll just wait till 2077 to play it
I was waiting for this game since the first trailer dropped in 2013. Finally played it last year. Played for about 2 hours and got bored. Haven't picked it up since. One day I might reinstall it and just mod the poop out of it, to see if I can actually make it enjoyable.
Go play the story, its amazing
i loved the story
Yes the mods will likely fix a lot of the issues
Couldn’t get immersed with all the bugs going on storys cool tho
It's a great game
PC - 780 hours, 4th playthrough - It's up there with Skyrim and Fallout 4 as one of my favorite games.
New Vegas >
I'd like to watch this on the PC version of cyber punk
Those issues with the bugs are mostly console only. On PC it is a great game to play and the experience definitely worth the time.
Idk based on others opinions it's apparently amazing on ps4 as well lol Its most certainly not.
Why not talk about how well written the story and characters feel, this game has one of the best written main / side quests in gaming industries on par with the witcher and has a decent RPG elements and you can approach the game with different types of builds, you literally reviewed the game based on its physics and bugs and left the whole game aside lmao garbage take and this game isnt like gta it never was intended to be its like the Witcher but in a futuristic city .
He's a circlejerking retard.
All I got from this guy is "bEtTeR tO pLaY iT oN pC"
I did say it’s just my opinion and the story for me is quite bad in comparison with other games these days and does not do enough to capture the player. If you think it’s anywhere near as good as Witcher 3, I’m shocked
@@L321 I have to agree with you on that bro. I've played over a 120 games and this game literally has boring and predictable story... How can someone say that it's the "best in the gaming industry"?? Father Gascoigne from Bloodborne has a better story than the whole of Cyberpunk 2077. The best thing from the game is its Score that was composed, 10/10 for that. I literally predicted the ending from the game just from the trailers alone🤦♂️. If someone thinks this is the best out there, then they are surely noobs to the gaming industry.
Are u one of those “I PLAYED THE GAME FOR ALMOST 1000000 HOURS AND I LOVE EVERY SINGLE OF IT” cult…😂😂😂😂
Thank you guys for watching!
Considering how gta has done it well for years can’t believe they still fail to make the cities feel more alive.
My cousin game shared it with me because he said it was such a game I’m a few hours into and it’s really fun so much to do shame what’s gonna happen to it
What does he look like?
If this is satire, the joke is too subtle to land.
This just feels like a genuine crappy review.
ray tracing is literally a gimmick my guy. Play it in performance mode the 60 fps and increased world density make the game immensely more enjoyable. Shadows and reflections are not worth sacrificing FPS , this obsession people have with raytracing is fucking mind-blowing lol
This game is awesome s one of my favorite open world games I really hope they expand more
Cyberpunk is an example of doing a lot of things, but nothing till its finish.
An unpolished polish game 😂
Most of the developers are homosexual.
This game is garbage even without the bugs
Fact
ok let me break something down quick for the bug side of things
1. No npcs in cars is only really noticeable if you look for it
2. pop-ins aren't that bad its just the game loading in new things while deloading other things to handle the console
3. yeah the ragdolls arent that good im gonna agree
4. no traffic=GO FAST
Also performance mode for console players sacrifices a lot of of stuff for them so for pc players with a pc that beats the recommended by a lot so like RTX 3050+ will do and a good list of components and if you run it at max mode it will have very little visual bugs because the main bugs he was talking about were all visual and it might not be a bug it could just be a graphic limit on pc though it works really good and has great gameplay the game really wasn't intended for console but they had to make it for them so it isn't as good on those consoles they just didn't put as much work into them
Damn i heard people around me saying it got better than before so i was kinda thinking about playing it but hell nah it's still bad lol
Thanks L321 for the video i might play this game probably like 20 years later
dont listen to this doucebag the game is way better this isn't even a proper review your missing out fr
