Why is it at a 45 though looks like you’ll only be able to go left! I just bought a trailer and tried using it today for my boys but it sits at a 45 like this so I figured that was wrong and ordered the other coupler that is at a 45. Is it supposed to be this way?
That wheel that pins into the trailer tongue for the stroller works good as a trailer jack stand so you don't have to drop the hitch coupler on the ground.
I bought the same trailer and you know how those print instruction manuals can be. I came looking for a video, and here yours was. Thank you for making it. It made hooking up the trailer a breeze.
yes i installed the trailer at a 90degree angle there is a hard rubber rod? in the silver spring the allows the trailer to "bend" to follow straight. no issues pulling even with weight in the trailer
Very helpful. Thank you for posting. "Per the customer" and per the printed instructions it looks like the coupler plate should be vertical though it seem from a force perspective that horizontal would be better. Anyone have better results one way or the other?
Hi timothy,i thought this too as it seems a safer idea to me to have the pin pointing down, but im thinking the instructions say it goes on vertical maybe to keep the trailer arm align? Otherwise the arm would end up on a slant causin the trailer to lean back abit? But thats just my thinking and im just a woman..thats probably going to get laughed at for my comment! Haha 😏 x
Thankyou for sharing..i now know what part i need to attach my pre owned trailer to my bike as this part was missing and ive been struggling all morning to figure out how it was supposed to fasten on! Such a simple and easy little bracket that im off to buy and hopefully fit myself if i can remove the bolt from the wheel! ☺ thankyou very much x
Great video I was wondering if this particular cart can get folded in order to store away if it does how can I get instructions on how to do it. Thanks
Hi guys can you help me, I lost lock washer for my schwinn trailer, is there anythig else I can use to attach this trailer on my bike? Thanks for this video
+Zvonimir Tokic I have not found a place to purchase just the special washer. you can buy the whole unit on line for reasonable . thanks for the comment
No sir. I have a nashbar bike, the trailer I bought was from craigslist and didn't come with a hitch , I didnt want to modify a hitch so I ordered a hitch from nashbar to fit my bike . And it didn't come with a washer, thanks for the reply

Yes right hand turns are very possible. Maybe not a sharp at left hand but still very doable. Thanks for your comment.
How did you solve the angled?
@@maxwellslifejourneySo I can't go straight?
Hate the noise at the begining, its stupid

yes these have any functions. if all the parts are there then its works well. if missing parts then it gets interesting

how important is the "lock washer"? I have the coupler and the pin mechanism but i am missing that washer
Very helpful step by step. Thank you very much..!
Hey Max! Great Video. Do you remember where you purchased the missing piece from and what it is called?
So if I saw it correctly, the washers will help the coupler clear the screw/bolt for the rear rack?
Thanks! That was very easy to understand and fast.
Thanks for the video. Do you know the name of the springy part between the coupler and trailer arm? I misplaced mine.
Thanks so much
No problem
I cant unscrew the bike axle nut.so that I can put trailer on...any suggestions on tool to use?
Thank you for the very PERFECT video..... MUCH APPRECIATED 👍
I am glad the video helped.
But how do you go if it is angled? That is not correct!
yes i installed the trailer at a 90degree angle there is a hard rubber rod? in the silver spring the allows the trailer to "bend" to follow straight. no issues pulling even with weight in the trailer
Thanks for the information I have a very similar Schwinn stroller as you.

will that coupler work for a 3 wheel bicycle to hookup a trailer?
all depends on your bicycle set up. the 3wheeled one of my dads was a different setup.
Great Video. Where did you find the coupler? My trailer is missing the same piece.
Bought mine's used, and it's missing the coupler also.
Where did you find it and for how much?
Hi Maxwell. I bought my stroller used, and it's also missing the coupler. Where did you find it and for how much? Thank you.
You can buy it on Ebay or Amazon for less than 10$.
nice video . .why don't you add a link as where to buy or name of the part on description of video
Plz add where I can buy the missing part , mine also missing the same part.

is the hitch supposed to move any when tightened down
no it should remain stationary . do you still have the washer with the holes in it?
No sir. I have a nashbar bike, the trailer I bought was from craigslist and didn't come with a hitch , I didnt want to modify a hitch so I ordered a hitch from nashbar to fit my bike . And it didn't come with a washer, thanks for the reply
Informative. Thank you!
thanks for the comment
The lock washer needs to go against the nut to lock it.
Thank you!
I didn't use my washer because I didn't have room I'll let you guys know how it goes lol
I would imagine as long as the bolt is tight it should not move . let me know how it works out for you
I'm trying to attach a plastic tote that fold up from Rite Aide or 7 eleven to a bike but how ?
