So many people have said that "Girlfriends" is the black version of "Sex and the City." That is just laughable. I do wish that the L.A episode of "Sex and the City" was a crossover special with "Girlfriends" as it would have been awesome to see Tracee Ellis Ross, Golden Brooks, Persia White, Jill Marie Jones, Reggie Hayes, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, and Chris Noth interacting with one another.
It was but towards The end the story line was all over the place , the character development wasn’t consistent. Truly had the potential to be better because when Toni left, I felt it. Before she left I didn’t like how they left that story line.
This was a fantastic episode, and not just because they were really well incorporated into the storyline. Thank you for doing this reunion. I hope these ladies pop up again

If there was a series finale and if William wasn't with monica and when joan gets married to aaron and when she says her I dos and she says no, I would love to see her and William fall in love to me that'll be a good ass ending and I would love maya to say aw HELL NAWWW

There likely wouldn't be a reboot (with all 4 at least) because that is product of Mara Brock (though she likely signed off for this occasion), and Tracee is with Kenya Barris and ABC now. She wouldn't have time for 3 different shows. They could still do a movie however-either made for tv, Netflix, or a summer flick like GirlsTrip. But I think the best bet would probably be just to add them into Blackish. It's the easiest way to satisfy everyone in one package and will only boost ratings for the show as a whole because you will have fans of Blackish/fans who don't watch Blackish, but fans of Girlfriends/fans of both shows tuning on on Tuesday nights. Bow could use some drink buddies every now and then anyways. Dre has his boys at the office, so they can be her meetup chicks after work for her to vent to about her everyday stress with work/Ruby/Dre etc. It just makes perfect sense.
