Because of how the relationship ended a lotta shade is (rightfully) thrown at Luca, but there were a lot of circumstances in their dating where Zoey acted selfish, childish, and straight crazy. Dude's not mad about the job anymore, but about what he considers humiliating himself and is pettily trying to hurt her back. In his mind, he broke his usual 'Too Cool' facade and blew up her phone hoping to talk after what was just (again in his mind) a minor argument that got outta a control; going as far as to chase her all the way to the airport before getting ghosted for 3 months. So yeah, neither of them is mature enough for an adult relationship
