back in the day, i got so rich doing this with bottles of ink, deldrimore steel, improved fur and improved linen. there's an artisan just outside the asuran underground portal cave thingo too
The problem with this is that as you buy the input mats their prices will rise and as you sell the d steel its price will drop. I did this in the past and it ends up being very tedious with not great profit. If just one person is doing it they can make a little bit of money. If lots of people are doing it nobody will make any money. Ive found for d steel its best to just make it when you already have the inputs so you actually make a good profit and it doesnt take a thousand clicks. If the bots make it back and iron+dust drop in price this is a more profitable. Until then its kinda a waste of time.
Nice! I farm quite a bit, so, had plenty of iron, dust, and even charcoal.Loaded up and headed out to buy the ingots. Sold em at 1K each. As soon as the price dropped to 900 I stopped. Made +20K and still have a bunch of ingots in storage now. Great trick.
wow thats so dumb .... smart people go to kamadan and sell theyr ingots to the player 100 gold cheaper then sell value ... making 2x more then you did lol fail

lol, no that's not how it's pronounced, it's Ing-guhts, had a great time watching this, I had to drink every time you said ig-knots :D Seriously though, thanks for the videos and you covered my suggestion at the end, see what the rare mat trader is paying the most for, then farm the materials needed to craft it (instead of buying them, then it's almost all profit, minus what the artisan charged), then sell to rare mat trader. An auto mouse clicker comes in handy here if you have stacks of things to sell, there's lots of freeware ones you can get now.
Yeah, this is an old trick. Honestly, the easier way to make money was from direct gold drops. Solo outside ToA in either hard mode or normal mode. The shadow creatures used to solely drop gold in amounts from 37-60 per pile in normal mode. It doesn’t sound like a lot per pile, but that area is full of them. You can walk away with 2-4 plat after 15 minutes. Rinse and repeat for a full hour.
