Dad Strength needs a little help to make that job a little less aggravating. Find a 4X4 post and fix to go onto the forks. The wood has a little flex as you roll the tracks on. And the wood post lets the track slide across it a little easier. I'm 63 and I have learned from my experiences and men much wiser than me. "Work smart not hard" I know you've heard that before. I always use the excavator to do everything. I put a bumper block in front of the undercarriage offset and pick up and cat on it. Then push grease out and use the side of my bucket to push track off why slowly turning track. A 1/4 inch chain to remove and install internals, then a chain on the outer track to the bucket and pull it on why casting it like a bicycle chain. But I never had a helper either.

My old John Deere 350 made 1978 was like that except it had a button type zirk fitting on it be careful if it's out too far it'll break the outside part off and then it's broke okay take care man

The bore was junk in this one it was really pitted the last time....I honed it and re sealed and it lasted for alittle bit
