Dead rising vet here. Theres a few things that aren't 1 to 1. They definitely changed a couple of things. But all in all im just so happy one of my favorite zombie games of all time is getting a revival. The first game is such a blast.
Need a new dead rising game
all depend if it sell good because DR4 had Death the franchise a good time.
Dr4 remember me what happened to Dino crisis franquise with Dino crisis 3.
Create a game using an exagerared concept AND Letting back which originally did the game attractive.
It Is similar with Dead space remake AND crash bandicoot remakes , one sold good AND we got crash bandicoot 4 AND other sold ok but for EA it wasn't enought even considering that it sold better than Original Dead space so the idea about Dead space 2 remake or new game look like something Isnot coming soon .
Another game which Is taking this kind of test Is silent Hill franquise with Silent Hill 2 remake AND actually Marvel vs Capcom franquise with fighting collection Marvel vs Capcom after Marvel vs Capcom infinite had Death the franquise a good Time.
Knowing Capcom the release of this game is also a way for them to see if there's still enough interest in the franchise for a sequel. If this does well enough, then a new game would be likely.
If this sells really well, you’ll get more DR.
This is it.. this is a new game.. just a remake of the best one, 18 years later- this is what we really want

I almost hate to say it but you're right. I think a new entry would be doomed to flop. This is the right move to get people back into the franchise
The physical version of Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is releasing in November, so if you're willing to wait after the initial release to get the game, then getting the physical 2 months after the digital would be helpful

I think you make a great point about this being a great way for people to try out the original game’s core feel with some modernized touches, and I’m excited for the series to finally get some new fans! Also, I see your point regarding the release date, but the events of the first game take place starting on September 19th, so I imagine that’s why they chose the date. Either way, I’m incredibly excited for this!

I tried DR3. The problem I had was the framerate. If I can get a lock 60 fps here I will give it another shot.

you can unlock the framerate to 60fps pretty easily. i forgot how to do it tho lol, maybe a google search will help

Harry Potter Quidditch Champions, Astro Bot, Stalker 2, Space Marines 2, lollipop Chainsaw remaster, epic mickey remaster and I'm sure I'm forgetting 1 or 2 others lol
Would be cool if they added animals from the wii version since in the wii version they had the infected poodle and parrots
The reason why it was so great. It wasn't like Resident Evil, Silent Hill, house of dead. Or any survival horror or Gothic rail shooter with zombie type in it, they may zombie outbreak more slapstick than terrifying. They show us that zombie apocalypse is not game over for humans but beatable while also making it funny putting bucket on a zombie head while they try to find you 😂
Seriously, the only thing that you're going stressed about in dead rising is the time limit, and the Psychopaths zombies in dead rising are just inconvenience For Frank, and you can see in the trailers cuz my Boi doesn't give a fuck he came for the Scoop 😂

it's such a shame everything else was perfect but frank and isabela have been slightly downgraded
Love dr2 never played the first I knew tbh so this gives me an excuse
they need to remove loading screens for doors it doesn't make sense to have them in this remake it's ok in the pipes more doors I don't think it would be cool
The loading screens had alot of world building and story telling tho.. I hope they utilize them somewhere
To be honest, i like the loading screens. I think it's because, after the transition, they show you how much time do you have left before the helicopter arrives, giving the player a sense of desperation.
I agree the original loading screens are terrible but I don’t think they will be there unless they wanna troll the whole dead rising community lmfao😂😅🤣
