Nice scooter! Ive got a 500w I decked out for music festivals. I added lights, a stereo, flag, and ape hangers. The agm batteries went bad and the replacements i ordered are terrible, lithium is a great idea

The Lithium Battery has been awesome. I need to wire in some speakers and lights like you have done. It's such a conversation starter!!

Thanks for this video! I have a garage filled with these things. I have 3, 300 watt, 2, 500 watt. and 2, 1000 watt. (I think) Its been years since they have worked. First went the tires and tubes, then the batteries. I was just looking online for replacement parts and upgrades to get them back on the road to use for marking and promotional purposes. Sweet, wishing I would have went ahead with a 1000W 40V motor now. Run it on a 60v battery. I've been riding this thing around every chance I get. Good luck, I did have to replace the tubes since this video. Working on going to a bigger wheel and tire currently.

@@cvsahara My coolers have been stored in my garage for over 7 years now. I forgot all about them until a few days ago. I think I will work on the 1000 watt ones first. I just need to get tubes and tires, a battery, and upgraded controller. These things are a blast. Where I live there are about 6 bars spread out within about a 6 mile radius. My friends and I would get on the scooters and make the "rounds" on them. So much fun. The best part is the reactions from the public when they see them. I have met so many good people when riding these. Its almost like therapy. Having a bad day? Jump on one of these and ride around town. People will honk their horns, yell, laugh, ask you questions, etc.
The best is when someone yells, "Hey you got any beer in there?" lol The look on their face when a ice cold beverage gets handed to them. I have the trailer that goes to the scooter. Used to take my friends Dalmatian for a ride in it. Had the cops pull me over telling me that I was impeding traffic. So many people were stopping in the middle of the street to take pictures and ask me questions it was crazy!
Not once but 2 different times my friend Big Ern (rip) was riding with me and we both had full loads of ice and beer. I road them so much I was comfortable jumping off the sidewalk curb onto the street. Big Ern would follow behind me. This happened 2 different times. Riding down the sidewalk at night, jumped off curb into street. Big Ern eats it on the street. Cooler flips on its side, beer and ice everywhere. Next thing you know sheriff deputies light us up blocking oncoming traffic. They were laughing so hard that they could not talk for a minute. They started asking questions while helping us pick up the beer. They had never seen anything like that before and had no clue about the laws. They took some pics of each other on them and told us to be careful. About a month later at the same intersection, Big Ern eats it again! This time the Police were there. Same reaction. lol
Sorry this is so long. I have not thought about this stuff in years. I really forgot how fun these are to ride. Not only for the rider but for anyone that sees you riding down the street. I own a small custom printing business. Do you have a logo? If so feel free to contact me if you would like some decals. I will hook you up for free. In fact if you want I will make you some larger sized decals of your logo (or whatever design you want) that you can put on the sides of the cooler. My business is 707 Decals. You can find me on Insta or facebook. Just message me if you are interested. Take a look at my social medial to see the work I do and the people I work with. That way you can verify that I am not a scammer. Thanks again for this video!

@kientzdan that's hilarious. I am building a cooler trailer for mine as we speak. Reactions to these little things are certainly priceless. You would think in the age of electric everything that it wouldn't be such a novelty but people love them. Switching to a lithium battery was the best thing I did with mine. 2 40 volt 6AH weedeater batteries will last all day at a fraction of the weight.
Thanks for the offer, I'll hit you up. I do need a decent decal for mine. Only other thing I will be adding after the trailer is nice little marine cushion for the seat! Good luck with the restorations on yours!

Haha, don't let her fool you, she rides it around more than me....

@@cvsahara I literally meant that she sounds like my ex. I would have her holding the camera asking her to film me riding my cooler to make promo videos. (used to do event promotions with them) I have a video somewhere around here. Me riding by her in the hot sun. Her saying "idiot" as I rode by. Not because she was filming. It was because it was her turn to ride it. lol
