    The 09' championship must of been the most important to Bryant. Believe it or not, but Kobe felt that he had to prove he could win 1 without Shaq and it took him a few years to prove the doubters wrong. 10' must of been sweet getting revenge against the big 3 Celtics but that 09' must of been a massive relief and huge brick wall to get over.

      daniel button Kobe🕊 definitely said with the team makeup and rivalry combined, the 5th one was the toughest and sweetest one. Magic was solid team ‘09 but he said that by losing to Celtics in ‘08 that if he didn’t win in 2010 he might have ever played them again in Finals(which was the case)
      - Pierce and Garnett would’ve rubbed it in forever that they got him and he didn’t get them(petty greats lbs)
      - He said he want to win one without Shaq(‘09) and have more than Shaq(‘10 made it one more)

    I was never a fan of kobe , Shaq, or the lakers. However I accepted them once he was added to the equation. He's a master at understanding the game , the individual players, and the team. He's a close as you get to a sure bet without rigging the game.

      The reason why Phil is the greatest is because he went to a different franchise and did almost the same. Pop is a legend as well, however, I would have loved for him to challenge himself to do it again with another franchise. 5 Rings is no easy task, but adding a few with another team would have been great!

      Technically they have the same amount of rings if you add up rings won as player and coach. Phil won 11 as coach and 2 as a player, Bill won 2 as a coach and 11 as a player. For his last 2 rings as a player he was also officially the coach as well.

      Ummm, Phil "RING KING" Jackson has 2 champhionship rings as a player with the Knicks in 1970 and 1973 with a total combined of 13 rings.

      99 and 04 Lakers were superteams and they underachieved....Phil just got lucky with the stars given to him

      @@redtiger4352 the 98 season was even more stacked and got swept in second round and that team lost 4 more games in 50 games than phil did in 82.
      And in 04 he got karl malone in year 18 after his stats had fallen horribly at Utah
      Gary (the glove) payton also was in year 13 and skills the year before had fallen off the map
      Horace grant only played 5 games the previous year and had his worst year to date the year prior to that 8 points and 6 boards.
      It was the oldest team in the league with 3 starters whose previous season was their worst of their careers
