Yeah, not many groups like this were around in the 90s now that I think about it. I suppose some had this expectation for black musicians to rap as hip-hop artists to be taken more seriously by this time, but it seems as if Boyz II Men never feel into the pressure of that expectation. They were an R&B boy band through and through, and proud of it.
Boys to men was huge. But I’m a jodeci type of guy 💪🏾. Never sign to an artist who are struggling & fighting their label for money. But sometimes things work out. Like this story
