Is there a way to customize the apps without having to go to/through the shortcuts app every time you click on your new app covers? Seems too clunky for me right now.

No problem! Unfortunately you can’t get the badge notifications on the custom icons, BUT there is actually a way to get rid of that top notification that shows every time you open a shortcut! It’s too long to outline in the comments here, but I might do a video on it soon.
it'd be nice if youprovided a detailed icon list on your site, so we know what we're getting before buying - it says over 120 icons but your pictures only show 54 ... therefore ... no purchase

Hey bro had this issue as well, just make the widget with the app and name it and hold the shortcut down and push edit and you'll see the box with the arrow coming up out of it and push add to home screen and it'll let you rename and add your custom app picture.

Realy like the style of it, but the function is not there.. every time i open the customed app i jump in to an other noe. Some guidelines to fix this had been nice :)

Hi I’ve got a question! After setting up the new shortcut, every time I open the app via this new shortcut a banner drops from the top of the screen saying “_______ | New Shortcut” with a check mark at the bottom, it’s annoying that it keeps popping up literally every time I open the app. Is there a way to get rid of this?
It works with color black, however I tried doing it with a different colored background, there seems to be a thin line just above the flex widget when I place it on the homescreen.
I tried something like this, but it isn’t for me. I don’t like the names onder the widget and the opening of the widgets when you tap on them. I sure do that by accident. Also, the widgets look weird when scrolling between multiple app pages (I only have one page, so no problem for me) and it is very apparent that the blank spaces are widgets if you watch the animation when opening the phone. But it looks cool when static.
It doesn't since iOS 14.3, now it just says on the top that used a shortcut not even as annoying as it used to before. Try a random shortcut and you will see what I mean.

No, as the dash essentially acts as the name of the app and thus widget. In the current IOS update, there is no way to remove names of widgets.

Go to screen time in settings .. and choose shortcuts and disable that option

I can’t get a blank screen shot of my backround when I swipe right I just get the apps by catagory. How do you creat a blank page with no apps?
hold down your screen or an app as if you were moving an app, then swipe right.
Please make a video showing how to undo all this if we ever get tired of it and want to revert back to the original look.
