Today we have Javi and one awesome interview. Wow, such cool story behind this beautiful Civic Si. The car was purchased from the dealer The Ugly Duckling and the story with the salesperson is wild. I am glad that he has kept this car all these years even though the car has been stolen a couple of times. Many people get discouraged but Javi has not. 8:58 I spent 2 years searching for my 2000 Civic EJ6, 5spd with d16y8. I wanted it in red, wouldnt budge on that color whatsoever, also had to have a sunroof. I finally got it, I upgraded the radiator, alternator, LED headlights, sound system, coilovers, and I havnt put any performance parts yet. Ive owned it for 4 years now. Its been sitting for 1yr now just aint got the money for it but ill never get rid of it!

100% lucked out or was it? It was fate, timing and a good email. I put it out there and have been looking, and always looking for clean tailgate hatches, and especially the very elusive VX.
I was sleeping in a Tee Pee (serious) I woke up around 4:30 a.m. I checked craigslist for some unknow reason and punched in Honda and there she was, blue, cleanish, runs, needs back brakes, $800.
I checked the time on the post. It posted at 10pm. I sent an email, went back to sleep, woke up later and sent one more email. I got a text a couple hours later, but there's a small problem. I'm a hundred miles away and this guy wants it gone. I convinced them and thanked them for holding her till the following weekend. Five long days went by and when I drove her, she treated me just fine.
Never stop looking and never pay crazy prices. Be patient and you will SCORE!

These days if you own a clean Honda it’s just better to stay away from car meets. All they do is bring unwanted attention.

I don't think it would hurt these guys with the
EG's to upgrade to a 17" rim at least, lol.
Its the 2020's, cars now come from the factory with 22" rims.
It makes the cars look like little toy Scions or somethin.
And those weird styling rims, (even if its Spoon)
upgrade to a more modern rim.
Not everybody cares about being period correct.
