The secret is...... A 2 click flare has 3 tones in the forward motion and 3 in the backwards motion. Total 6. When u r scratching over a beat that has 4 beats like 4/8 it wont fit without a gap if u wanna start the pattern on 1 again.......the second startpoint of the pattern has to start on the third beat to bridge the gap

wow, after you double time your flares do you then triple time them or are you placing the scratch in a offset way?? how do you achieve triple speed
