This didn't work for me; yes I tried all the other things mentioned BUT I eventually solved the problem by setting up the scales via using the app on my mobile phone. Basically clear the scales off your Withings account AND all the Bluetooth settings i.e. computer/laptop, phone etc as if you were in the position of having just bought them new BUT do not delete your previous weight records in your Withings account as this is not necessary. Then rather than using the approach on the Withings site with their downloadable app on the computer/laptop, use these instructions on your mobile phone to set-up the new scales [ruclips.net/video/vYwfp72Uk4o/видео.html]. Once you have re-linked your scales with your phone/account via Bluetooth, you can then 'direct' the account to the wifi link by just saying "yes" to the statement "Use WIFI address on phone?" You can also follow this procedure for when you change your internet supplier.
