coming back to rewatch this match after the news broke about Nick being offered a contract by AEW. Joey kept his word, Nick is going to be a huge star. i know it will be a few years, but I cant wait for Nick to show up on TV.

Nick Wayne v.s. Hook in AEW is gonna be great. IMO, Hook vs Wayne should be a lifelong feud. Make it exactly like what Hunter tried with Gargano/Ciampa.

Greg, just the other day, after watching a match featuring HOOK, I was asked just who I thought would be a great match-up for him. My answer immediately was Nick. It should be a dandy. I hadn't thought about a lifelong feud between these two, but it sounds like a great idea.

I had the absolute pleasure of seeing this live, and I will say the camera microphones do not do the crowd justice at the pop of the finish. It was one of the loudest reactions I've ever heard. Needless to say this is the greatest match I've ever seen in person.

Came here after the Nick Wayne news and he is as advertised, very much a young Will Ospreay, but can we get some love for Joey Janela?! He is so versatile, can work as face or heel, one of the best sellers in wrestling (one of the few, ha).

Awesome match between Nick and Joey.
Janela looks good he's been listening and learning and with GCW I think hes definitely one of the pioneers of modern wrestling. It's good that corny doesn't like today's style but combined with the pacing and tricks of traditional rasslin it's really good looks smooth
Maybe I'll be the one to pull the trigger on a feather weight division and book it like new Japan does with it's smaller guys.
