Damn, i fell off of NXT before Swerve was there. The match was great. Hes smooth and charismatic. That promo at the end was gold. I love it. Hes on my radar for sure now.
Same he just signed with aew so I figured I'd watch some of his matches and man what a talent

Vince doesn’t hold onto wrestlers with the potential to get themselves over. Swerve is a one man army that’s about to rise to the top of AEW while simultaneously taking back the crown as the king of the indies. I an stoked for what’s coming.
If Vince can't get credit creating the character then he doesn't want them. He's been trying created another Undertaker for over 25 years, but everything he creates falls flat to the fans.

Its crazy that Swerve said hes gonna be waiting for him, and Nick was his first opponent out of the gate on Dynamite.
This Swerve is a top heel in any promotion in the world. His presence is phenomenal and he lets every moment breathe because he knows he has the audience in his palm. I see a man who is a freak athlete but with a sadistic mean streak. He seems to have been betrayed by the industry who would rather laud a literal boy than give him his due for a career of carrying a wrestling region on his back. And now he will make you suffer slowly and Savor the look on your family's face as he separates every last brain cell.
I think both of these men will be at the very top of the world within 5 years and will be excited to see how they both evolve from here.

Dam good match! but .I am really impressed with the 16 year old he is very good at early age. Also I am surprised how swerve can maneuver his body with flips and kicks and he is older. That's impressive!

As someone who hasn't seen much from Swerve on NXT (or the Indies), I can now understand why people are excited for his AEW debut. I'm excited too now.
Also as a relatively young Wrestling Fan at 26 I'm sure it's bound to happen more often as time goes on, but throughout the match I kept thinking "Damn, that Nick wayne kid is 10 years Younger than me and already so good and successful."

A massive huge knockout DEFEAT for Nick Wayne. The way Nick Wayne is lying on his back out cold on the canvas is his clear Surrender to Sverve.
.. But Nick Wayne is a true Hero for having the guts to get into this match in the first place.
.. Nick Wayne now needs to move forward after this huge defeat - but with confidence. He can feel proud of himself.

He's one of the best in ring wrestlers i have seen in the last 5 years. AEW did good. WWE messed this up big time. how can anybody let that man go? man has it all. charisma, presene, mic skills, and skill in the ring. his ring awareness was excellent too

Like watching a man who just got out of prison try to reclaim his place again. So sad that all these WWE marks who think this is a step back in his career, have never seen Shane Strickland, the guy who was probably the best wrestlers in the world, before WWE turned him into just another WWE gimmick for their realty TV promotion. There are epic matches right around the corner with Danielson, Punk, Mox, Lee, PAC, Andrade, you name it. Whose house?? :)

Nick Wayne was clearly TIRED in the last five minutes of this breathtaking "edge of the chair" match. FATIGUE had set in his body - and this fatigue was clearly seen by everyone when Sweve picked him up and easily pinned the young 16 year guy like a rag doll.
.. That massive knockout DEFEAT is clearly seen on Nick's face whilst he lies Knocked out cold on his back. The expression on his face (and on his whole body) is one of outright unconditional SURRENDER.
.. BUT what an amazing Wrestler is Nick Wayne. He lost the match but he won the crowds hearts ... and mine.
