You can get most of these items in your local arts and crafts store. For the eraser, you could get them from Ebay or Etsy by searching the keywords "eraser carving blocks". Alternately, you could also use regular erasers to carve.
SAFETY
Watch your fingers while carving, it's better to move/ rotate your eraser rather than turning your blade. Please pace yourself and carve slowly, the carving process in this video is twice the speed to shorten the length of the video.

Yayyyyyyy thnxs for thr idea😉😉
Wahh this really is professional :O Amazing!
thanks!!
Love! I want to try this! Puffy I used to work alot with clay and have tons and tons of clays in various colours and supplies, I know you live near Australia, if you are interested please let me know, eventhough I know you like to use cold porcelain. Or maybe you know someone locally who would be interested? I have been mostly just drawing with coloured pencils lately and so all my supplies are just sitting there :-(
Cool!
If u bake u could also use these on cookies if their really well cleaned ^^
Soooo cute ! ;-)
awesome
I made eraser stamps back in high school for my art class. mine came out funny looking lol
One more tip they should mention is to make sure your image is inverted before you trace. You can easily do that by flipping it horizontal in photoshop. That way, your image will come out in the right direction.
its cool idea
Can u plz do more felt tutorials?
i guess you can say.. That duck went under the knife! **badum tshh**
Cute! :)
thanks!
hi! mind making a tutorial on making molds?i'm so sad bc finding clay supplies, molds, and clays are hard in my country
So much!
What brand of rubber block do you use? Is the texture soft or hard?
Looks soft to me😞
Apparently it's a paper eraser? I don't think hard or soft matters as long as you can cut it easily
So perfect!! You are an amazing crafter!!! Where did u get the ink pads, there so cute?
So awesome ! If I tried that I would so lose a fingertip ! (>~
Great tutorial! XD although I would recommend going slower on this to make sure your lines are fine and straight.
Its 2x Fast Forward :)
I like this video so much.If you don't mind,I would like to ask your permission to share this video to the other website.Thank you very much.
Joanna commented on this?! I subscribe!

Love this - please tell me what a 2B pencil is?
Hi shellyqt It is a type of pencil that has a certain lead type.
Staples ***** ***** Amazon.com eBay
Another quick question-what is Blu-tack and where is it available?
Thank you again for a great tutorial.
Hi shellyqt! It is available in many craft stores and home development departments. If all else fails it is online!
It's like a sticky clay thing that doesn't dry...it has lots of names but just look in a stationary shop and
You could also use a clay eraser
I think it's called a *kneaded eraser* in English (kneedgum in Dutch).
It's a soft eraser you can kneed and/or use little pieces of etc. and you don't have to rub over what you want to erase, you can roll over it or dab it, and it will stick to it. Very useful on delicate paper or when you want to use waterpaint over that spot, because normal erasers alter that spot, it affects the tooth of the paper.
Where do you buy the eraser block at?? Thanks!
Hi! where I can find the tack to clean of the pencil mark? How it's called?
can u wash the ink off the rubber stamps if you wanted to change ink colour?
i try to use reguler eraser, but it become soo dusty
Can you do this with a normal eraser?
Where do you buy your eraser?
ใช้เปนมีดเกะสลัดได้ไหมค่ะ
who's gonna do all that work! carving an unbroken egg would easier for me 😂 anyways, well done!
can you give the link from where you got the eraser block?
what kind of eraser block is that? Ive been looking for something similar?
May I ask where did you find the pictures?
Where can I buy eraser blocks? And how much are they?
This is great ...however don't think i have that kind of patients or steady hand
Can I Use Cutter?
Where did u get your eraser block from? I know u can buy it from etsy etc. but I'm just wondering where u got yours from.
I saw some in a Japanese store called daiso you should check online shopping it's only 1.50 almost every thing there is
where can I get a blade like yours?
you get those on Amazon
Im Tong it's called an xacto knife... you can find it at art stores, Wal-Mart, Amazon...also in wood carving sets
Oh my! You should check out mizutamahanco on instagram. She does beautiful eraser stamps.
Where can I get those rubber stamps ?
ILoveJustinBieber ThereforeImaBelieber The rubber to make the stamps? You can get those at your local Michael's store or local art store. Or look on amazon.
Does it have to be a 2B pencil? Does 3B work?
Rachel Wong yes
What's the music for this video? :D
can we use wax paper instead of tracing paper thx please reply to me i rlly want to make this but i do not now where to buy tracing paper so anyone please reply to me thx :)
yes you can ~ I use parchment paper which is really close to wax paper. You could also use a thin sheet of computer printing paper. c:
I don't get it... 😓
Good vid, but anyone else get motion sickness watching the carving speed up?! A fixed camera would have helped.
this tutorial is so good! you make me want to do eraser craving >.<
I am planning to buy eraser blocks on etsy now because of this tutorial LOL
is it necessary to also buy rubber stamp carving tools or a hobby knife will do everything? thanks for making this tut btw :)
I suggest to use hobby knife, it's more flexible when it comes to fine details. But it takes twice the time as a carving tool, because you need to use 2 steps to carve out the 'v' rather than the single move by the caving tool.
You can buy this from daiso:)
what is blu-tack
reusable adhesive. usually to hold something lightweight like poster, cart, mahjong paper (the big white sheet usually use for presentation)etc...this stuff is just like a chewing gum but u can't eat it though :D
