    Feynlab has surfactants which technically makes it like a soap. N914 also has some surfactants but probably less. I'm guessing that's the reason why you can't use Feynlab as a detailer: because when mixed at higher concentrations, it will leave a slight soap residue in the form of streaks which makes it harder to remove without rinsing.

      Yup that all tallies with what I've found. The only Rinseless Wash I've used that produced a nice QD was ONR (it does feel like all the others are trying to copy it and missing the mark, apart from Feynlab who are doing something different), but even then...as a QD, none get close to a good one like Garage Therapy.

    Much appreciated, glad I heard about your experience with the Uber - sounds like a dealbreaker to me too especially for the price. Thanks for all the reviews of these

    I'd be interested to hear your opinion on P&S Absolute - I've been using it recently and it seems impressive

      I have got so much left over from last year's exploits that it'll be a long time before I need to buy another Rinseless product. From what I've read, it's comparable to ONR. Which I guess a lot of them are, apart from Feynlab.

    Thank you so much for this series! Hope you can get your hands on the new P&S Absolute to add it to the comparison.

      Thank you. If P&S saw this and sent me some, sure, but I'm not going out and buying more as, for me, I've answered my initial questions I had. Can you wash safely with Rinseless? Yes. Does pre-washing with a pressure washer make much difference? Yes. If I can't get hold of ONR, is there something as good? Feynlab. Is Feynlab actually better than ONR? Yes, as a cleaner, by a long way. If I can't get hold of ONR or Feynlab, is there an alternative that's okay? Yes, McKee's.

    I like the DIY Detail rinseless best. It's very similar to N914 but improved a bit. The thing I like about it and N914 over ONR is that ONR does not release the dirt from wash media nearly as easily. I feel like both clean better than ONR, I tested them on dirty wheels in the winter. ONR is maybe better than N914 for clean surfaces and interiors / glass, but I think the DIY is improved enough that I no longer use ONR.

    • @SuperchargedLlama
      @SuperchargedLlama  9 месяцев назад +1

      That's good to know! The Wolfgang's was terrible at releasing dirt, but I have to say that, so far, Feynlab Pure Rinseless is by the best cleaning Rinseless wash I've used. It's a long way ahead too, not just a little bit.

    • @chrisbradley3224

      @@SuperchargedLlama I have not tried Feynlab but I’m not surprised it cleans well because it’s the most extreme example of a surfactant based rinseless. The DIY will be one step below in terms of cleaning but less foamy / soapy and maybe a bit more slick.

    I generally agree with your takes. Just used FL and was very impressed. Mckee's Sio2 rinseless is also very impressive. Will eventually try the graphine version. Never cared for onr as it was lacking in cleaning power

    • @SuperchargedLlama

      That's an interesting one regarding the products with LSP in them, I feel like I've got a mental block on them and how they'd interfere with the cleaning. And that's not based on any form of educated opinion, just complete nonsense. So I should try it I guess.

    FEYNLAB is without a doubt the best rinseless wash currently on the market. I have about 20 rinseless washes (I know, I have an obsession!), but of the 20 I have, FEYNLAB is the best. FEYNLAB also has a fantastic regular bucket wash product called FEYNLAB Pure Wash. Essentially a similar product to this but a foaming regular bucket wash. The reason? CLEANING ABILITY and it leaves nothing behind so you aren't contaminating your protection with something that MIGHT be in a rinseless "wash and wax" type product that may affect the performance of your sealant or coating. While contamination is not usually an issue with all of the ones I have tested so far, several of them do in fact leave residues on the paint which I don't like. I just love the simplicity of FEYNLAB and it's incredible cleaning ability. It's also a good value for money.

    Great video! Had been waiting for this one. Would like for you to try American Detail Garage Fuzion. Now that’s also a great Rinseless/waterless wash. I agree with you on Wolfgang. Nothing special about it.

      If they sent me some to try I'd certainly give it a go, but for now (with everything I've got to use) I won't be buying another one. I've also reached thr conclusion that I needed to; if I can't get ONR,nwhat should I get? Feynlab. Is there anything better than ONR? Feynlab. Of I can't get ONR or Feynlab, is there something else to get? Yes, McKee's.
      Do those fancy sponges really make a difference? Holy crap, yesm(and I am genuinely surprised!)

    On my nanolex coating, Feynlab does Amazing job, better than carpro reset.
    And on another car Feynlab kill waterspot so easy.
    Juste one thing, i have to dry directly to avoid streaks.
    And i use QD After, loving it

      I tell ya what, me neither in a way. I felt like it was worth looking at the different options out there because it's such a hot topic at the moment (and I've genuinely learnt stuff), but it's all very samey from a content point of view. It's definitely why I did it like a vlog rather than my usual stuff.

    Interesting one to listen to 👍🏻
    I’ve only used the Bouncers waterless wash, once, as a waterless wash although it does have multiple uses and I enjoyed using it, it did a great job. As a concept tho these types products just don’t do it for me

    • @SuperchargedLlama
      @SuperchargedLlama  Год назад +1

      It really is a struggle conceptually isn't it? I used Feynlab on a minging vehicle today as everything was freezing and I could work a panel at a time. It was incredibly effective, but I think it I were dipping my toe in to try it, I'd go with ONR. Especially as they do an 8oz bottle, so you don't have to buy a lot of product to try it out.

  • @elevatedshine
    @elevatedshine 2 года назад +1

    Feynlab is unmatched in cleaning ability. Less is more with that product, I find .3oz per gallon enough but still is a little sudsy. Wash media easily glides using FPR. My only knock is it dries quit on surface so you need to have drying towel ready. If you’re looking for pure cleaner Feynlab without a doubt. If you’re looking for something more versatile, more user friendly ONR.

    • @SuperchargedLlama
      @SuperchargedLlama  2 года назад

      I agree with that sentiment entirely (although I do just use it at 1:250, it doesn't dry as quick then but it's certainly not as forgiving as ONR in that sense).

    Did you manage to have a go at the new rinseless releases from Infinity Wax & Bouncers (while you can get it sadly anyway)? Would be good to see some feedback on those, especially as two British brands and how they relate to the competition? If as good as ONR, or better, then it should be no problem getting hold of them and can support our local brands at the same time, unlike ONR!

    • @SuperchargedLlama
      @SuperchargedLlama  2 года назад +1

      I didn't/haven't; infinity wax only launched there's recently and I already everything I was going to test (as I wasn't going to test McKee's until in2detailing sent it). If they send me some then I'd definitely review it, or I'll get some once I've used up some of this stuff (I'm swimming it as you can see!). I agree with you, it would be nice to support a British brand for sure, they're just late to the party.

      @@SuperchargedLlama Yeah thats fair, both were released only a month or so ago I think, I imagine to cater for the hosepipe bans that had just come in and are still in place. Perhaps if these very dry summers become more the norm for us we might start seeing more coming out. Good way to avoid all the import taxes and shipping on the end price too.
      Just on the infinity wax website now, seems to use similar polymer tech as ONR so could be a good one! I'm tempted to give it a go as my first rinseless. Doesn't seem like I'll be able to use a hosepipe any time soon...
