Hearing all those movie releases, makes me wanna not bother. Every movie with the travel, food, drink is £20-£30. Twenty movies is a cheap holiday. I'd rather see another country instead of funding the studios. The desire to get to the cinema is less and less over the years.
Candyman was the first movie I remember seeing in a theater. Scarred me for life!!! Tony Todd still scares me to this day. I still can't sit through the movie at 35yrs of age.
Right now, I'm in Japan for the first time. I just spent four days in Tokyo, Roppongi, and am currently in Kyoto for a few days after riding a Shinkansen (bullet train). Then, I'm heading to Osaka tomorrow for a few more days before returning to Tokyo, Shinjuku for several days, and back to SF.
Also with all the negative lead up, I was pleasantly surprised and kind of loved that Mickey 17 trailer. That song choice was a low key MVP for setting the tone and making me get into its absurdity. Pattinson is incredible and hope this movie hits
Yeah, but two hours of Pattison using that silly voice? Kinda reminds of the criticism Nicholas Cage faced back in ‘86 for the voice he used in the film Peggy Sue Got Married. Some feel the nerdy voice he used made the film a tough watch.
I find it really hard to believe that the Mr Beast contestants didn’t have a clue what they were agreeing to. You know they had to sign a million waivers.
While I don't personally feel that Agatha All Along is my cup of tea, spooky season is such a vibe. It definitely has the potential to attract an audience and serve as a fun show to watch during this time
I think there is 2 ways to Ted's comments. 1) Netflix is a great place to stream movies that normaly you don't go to see in theaters anymore like rom-coms & some lower budget movies like Rebel Ridge. 2). Most of their big budget movies are not that great and should have been theatrically released like Rebel Moon PG-13 cut.
Was it a good idea for Pattinson to use that silly comedy voice for Mickey 17? If the movie underperforms, can that accent be blamed? Also: it get the sense that the trailer is the entire movie.
Idk how you give the follow up movie to the director of Parasite, best picture winner and best director winner at the freakin academy awards a January release date. It’s mind boggling
Ted Sarandos is full of shit. If Netflix was really doing as well as he's saying, then he wouldn't keep jacking up the prices. Plus, putting at least some of their movies in theaters with wide releases would actually bring in more revenue quicker than simply relying on subscriptions and ads. It would also do them a solid to cut back on some of the stuff they make that they barely promote and nobody ever sees, which would save them money in the process. But I guess that's too logical for them. As for Agatha, I'm glad to hear you and Sadie are digging it so far. I can imagine watching it with her helps a lot with that. As for The Sims movie, I'm very curious how that'll turn out, especially as a live-action one. It sounds like it might be better off as a movie than a TV series from what that article was saying. And that Mickey 17 trailer was hilarious lol. I've known about that movie for a while and the premise sounded interesting, but I had no idea it was a comedy. That's definitely something to look forward to in January. I'm not worried about that release date either. Considering all the stuff it would have to compete against if it were to be released later in the year, I think putting it January is a smart move.
Steph Japan is amazing. And you will not want to leave! I got to visit and stay with a local family for two weeks as a teenager best experience of my life. One of the friends I made there has a restaurant now and we keep up through instagram
Has having movies squeezed together only bring low profit for companies looking to make a profit. Will the movies been seen not going to reach there potential. Another bad year or a good one for some.
Yup HBO Exec doubled down on the fact that the recent season had no negative reaction. Casey then proceeded to throw shade at George… idk why they think this is good idea, especially since we still have two years before season 3
@@Aussie27Legend Yes that is true but the wait is already an issue for a lot of people more so than the quality having this online spat to the author of the story does affect the casuals. Respectfully you should look more deeply into the allegations around Mr Beast before going so soft on him. Sounds like you may not be fully aware of the crimes and conduct he's been accused of with pretty compelling supporting evidence. HIs philanthropy is 1. a business that he makes a profit on and 2. a cover for his actual behavior. The dude literally put a man thru solitary confinement torture that is banned by the geneva convention, aka a war crime. The Mr Beast games is just a continuation of the lack of professionalism and safety in his company and a continuation of in particular his misogynistic treatment of women on his sets.
@@peteparker22 Nah he's just the first to film himself doing it. Rich people has always given away a lot of money, most of them to look like nicer people than they really are. I don't see how Mr. Beast is any different🤷♂️

Don’t feel bad, Steph. I don’t think you’re aware that it has basically been one guy sending in like 35 questions! 😂
Yeah I saw that and I was like dude chill with the amount of questions 😂
Deadpool and Wolverine debuts on Disney Plus on October 1? Wow!

Have fun, figuring out which direction those buses were going was a pain in my ass in kyoto ha.

I’ve spent decades thinking I’m beautiful but when I look at Steph here today I feel like Anne Ramsey from Throw Mamma From The Train!
Steph is frikkin' gorgeous

"Were not Quitters" probably best response I've heard on this channel
Agatha looks pretty good to me. Although, I don’t think it will do well. It should have come out shortly after WandaVision
While I don't personally feel that Agatha All Along is my cup of tea, spooky season is such a vibe. It definitely has the potential to attract an audience and serve as a fun show to watch during this time
The richest company and richest RUclipsr in the world couldn't even pay people properly? We live in a dystopia.
All the broadcast shows don't return until mid October this sucks 😢
I know John campea is your friend and all but you are reasonable then he is. I find his show insufferable
😂😂😂
This was the year I decided to stop watching his show. I just couldn’t continue to do it any longer.
The Campea show is just… too much Campea, especially now without Rob.
Even with the wonderful Kris Carr, John’s show is still a very tough watch.
I watched John from the AMC movie talk days till this year when I decided to bail.. I just couldn't do it anymore lol

We aren’t quitters quote of the day
Movie to be never re made, back to the future
Universal execs are just waiting for that guy to die and it'll be greenlit the next day.

I’m excited for Mickey 17. Quirky movies like that interest me. I don’t understand the complaints the naysayers have about the movie.
The Sims live action sounds a bad idea to me. Plus you already have The Sims live action it's called Reality TV.

So, is Mickey 17 a mashup of the Sam Rockwell Sci Fi drama Moon and the Michael Keaton comedy Multiplicity?
seems so, and i imagine with an undercurrent of the expectation of throwing our lives away for companies who don't care about us
We’re not quitters 😂
❤❤❤Steph! Netflix: 🐴 💩- they full of it.

Love the show
Kristian I would have thrown a few in if you had the show up early. Slept through it :(
Not excited for Mickey 17 as just not a Bong Joon-ho fan had seen 3 of his films and didn't love any of them.
I never liked Mr Beast. Not surprised to hear some shady stuff has gone on around him.
