Man I'm 68 years old, Kennedy was killed 2 days before my 6th birthday. They were supposed to release his files in 50 years, it's been 61 years, and they still have not released ALL of the files. Trump said that he would release the files and then he looked at them and said, "I can't release all of these files it would cause too much trouble." He released a few more pages and that's it.

The news that they read to you has been written by Journalist who submit it to an editor. Journalists don't need to know the details (what info should withheld). Whatever they write gets reviewed by people who do know what is not allowed to be told. These editors are the ones who are gatekeeping the news. They determine what story will be told, and how it will be told.
