Great review, you're one of the very few who discuss the very important subject for everyday driving which is HANDLING. Just about everyone else covers off the line pickup.
This is a really great car I really like the styling I had a look at the prerelease demo of the 2024 Kona looks like a completely different car. I would definitely rather get the last of the 2022 to 2023 range of kona's
Thanks for the detailed review, looking at this N-Line in Ultimate spec for my sister in Ontario. Unfortunatly the only 2 I found instock were $5,000 over MSRP. With the 24 coming in a 3-4 months, high interest rates, this might hurt their greed.
Whoa, that's nuts... We've got a markup on our in-stock units, but it's about $1850 and includes 4 accessories. No markup on factory orders. Unfortunately though, I'm in BC 🤷 Try some other dealers, maybe you'll find one a little better
Thank you for your review. Do you have other reviews of the instrument panel and key fob?. I've had 2 weeks of Happy🚗since my purchase! I like your calm explanation!
I really like your reviews! How do you feel about that transmission in traffic and do you know if the DCT friction parts are covered under the warranty? Those are my only concerns. I bought a Kona sun and leather for my daughter and we both love driving it on sinuous roads. Thanks for the review and test drive!
Thanks! This is a bit of a grey area though. So, from my understanding, if the technician determines that the clutch has worn abnormally, yet the vehicle hasn't been driven incorrectly, then generally Hyundai will just cover the replacement of the whole transmission (the core goes back and gets refurbished) However, if the tech determines that the vehicle has NOT been driven correctly (through historic data stored in the TCU) then it might not be covered. With a dual clutch, it's important that you don't creep up a hill very slowly in reverse or drive. Nor should you hold the vehicles position on a hill using the gas pedal like you could if it was a normal auto transmission, instead use the brake. A dual clutch should be driven like a manual.... Be cognisant of not "riding the clutch". Once you're off the brake, get on the gas and don't dilly dally.
I like the review of the hyundai kona N line I was wondering do you when all new design 2024 hyundai kona arrives in Canada and will the 2024 hyundai kona have the N performance will it have an option for front wheel drive or all wheel drive
We do not like Huyndai 2023 Kona N-line without having 280hp, we wish Huyndai representatives to continue making the 2023 Huyndai Kona N line which is equipped with valves in the muffler and has 280hp in Huyndai Kona N engine, you can vary the frontal on new 2023 Huyndai Kona N lines but keeping the same 280hp and NM produced by the new 2023 Huyndai Kona N automatic version made for this 2023 Huyndai Kona N lines. If new Huyndais Kona N lines does not produce the sound we are get used to hear from the Kona's muffler when car is speedying I will not be interested in buying any kind of Huyndai cars made. A modern Huyndai SUV like Kona N lines that has the 280hp should be made keeping all of this motorizacion, except the size of the interior of it, which must have a big interior to become into the Huyndai Kona N lines we are now expect to in 2023-2024. Thank you.
I got mine in April, and I absolutely love it. Such a fun car. A very pretty car.❤
Awesome!

Thx for the comment!!
I honestly like the look of this model more than the redesigned 2024 one
I think I might too. But I'll reserve judgement until I've seen the new one in person.
Thx for the comment!
I agree, I don't like the looks of the 2024, It may grow on me, but I don't think so.

I just bought the 2023 because I didn’t like the upcoming 2024. I love this car, great acceleration and fun to drive , I made a good decision.

Thanks for your comment,
Unfortunately I don't have anything specific to this vehicle's IC and fob. Sorry.

@@edsgarage001 Thanks for your honesty Perhaps, I'll wait for the 2024. They're supposedly going to come with 8 speed automatic. Regards
Black N line is the only reasonable choice
Alrighty
Yep that’s what I bought 4 days ago, black on black, so nice!
Its a nice design like many of the Hyundai models. Probably not going to win any 0-60 races but its not made for that.
Yeah... It's "quick" just not, fast.
Still quicker then most its class though.

Thanks the comment! But unfortunately I haven't received any additional info on the redesigned Kona yet.

I spoke with a manager yesterday & he was told they should be here in July of 23. fI asked his source, he said Hyundai Canada.
Nice colour 👍
It really is,
Thx for the comment!
Do they still burn oil?
The 1.6L doesn't have oil burning as a common issue.
All engines eventually get to the point that they burn oil though.

??? What on earth did I just read?
I don't think you understand how automotive design and audience targeting works....
@adamm7760 I couldn't agree more lol
