The first gearless drives machines that he showed are nice looking machines and the sliding guard fence for easy access to the drive machines. As always awesome elevator videos.
Ah a ThyssenKrupp Aurora. I’ve seen a few of these in my travels. They’re pretty decent elevators if maintained properly. Keep up the good work Mike, I love your channel.
Nice update love the old Otis machines👍 surely the customers own the LCD logger not Thyssen, Kone do the same ? when we take jobs over the KNX board needs to be purchased by new customer. Wish I could keep my tool bag that tidy lol.😂
I tie up my leads when putting them in, makes it easier to get them in. But I also switched to he fluke 107 which also gives you more space in that side pocket.
You gotta try flukes flex leads there great . And try not folding your leads I did that a bunch of times and got a fulse reading on a close contact cause one of my lead wires broke on the inside from all the bending . ALSO AND ALWAYS BE SAFE
I have the flex leads I believe, well the ones that have the twist guard on them are the ones I use and I think they are flex. But I also tend to test my leads before using them. Of course not every time but a lot.
Hey apprentice here just wondering if you have recommendation for the best way to educate oneself on reading prints? Any suggestions would be appreciated love checking out your videos!
Just a reminder. PPE-proper clothing-do not wear shorts, tank tops or trousers with cuffs.Long sleeve shirts are recommended. When working around energized equipment, finger rings, large belt buckles and watches shall be removed.
In theory you are right. But I always personally wondered why not shorts or short sleeves for a maintenance worker? Less clothing to get pulled into a machine or something like that. Cause I know I’m the summer when it’s 105° in a tiny overhead it’s more like 120° and my 320lbs ass would die in pants and long sleeves lol.
I agree with shorts on the hot days, obviously as I’m wearing them in the video. Fortunately I don’t work for one of the big boys where I’m sure there’s no way you could wear them. Most days I go around and not even come in contact with people so I don’t see an issue.
Yea I also work for a smaller company for 20 years, but recently they have been bought out by a big conglomerate that owns 15 other companies. So they have been pushing that PPE on us a lot. And now having us do the “procedure” to access the car top and pit. Stuff like that. Stuff like that is one of the big reasons that I stayed at a “mom n pop” shop my whole career.

Thanks. If you can get some extras sets and take them home to go over that would be helpful. The new stuff has pretty tough prints.
