My 1996 Buick Roadmaster had the same trunk keyhole hidden under a Buick emblem that you rotated out of the way like this 1962 Buick Invicta Convertable. I love it when newer vehicles pay homage to their ancestors with small details like that.
in the 60's My Dad used to fix cars as a sideline in Massapequa NY.. we would have Jags and Porsches in our Driveway many times. I remember an XK 140 Exactly like that we had in the driveway for a weekend. Most Beautiful Thing I've Ever seen.
I very much enjoy watching Tom's Barn Find videos. His encyclopedic knowledge of old cars and sincere passion is inspiring. Keep on going!!! Greetings from Czech Republic. Bo
I remember, back in 1962, visiting my uncle and his wife who were living in the carriage house of an old estate belonging to an Admiral somewhere in the vicinity of New Hope, Bucks County, PA. On the estate there was a 2- or 3-level barn and on the 2nd level, there were 5+ cars parked in there, several of them brass-era. The only thing I remember for sure was there was a Stutz. I've always wondered what happened to them. I was only 13 and from California, so I don' remember much more than that.
Thanks, ND like the Barns too( being an old Noble County INDIANA FARM BOY).......what gems to,work,on......Always like it when Studebakers, Auburn’s, etc.trucks & Cars come up.....
Really dig this series tom hope you keep up the high quality content and I share your passion and admire your commitment and contribution to the automotive community
What an enjoyable series! Tom, like my local car guy Wayne Carini, is a great host. He doesn't make the show about him, it's about the cars. I was very pleased to hear there will be a Season 2!
Sam. It is so good to see how well you have done. I went to Brighton high and Brockport with you. We were in the same constitutional law class at Brockport. I always wondered what happened to you after you left Brockport and went to Harvard. The years have been kind to you. Nice cars! I drove a 1968 Caddy convertable for years when I lived in L.A. I had 1948 and 1963 caddys as well. I would love to hear from you. Steve Kozel
Wow, just discovered your videos, and I love the fact that the sellers have a love and passion for old classic cars and are not asking a fortune for them just a reasonable price
Back in mid 70s a friend and I pulled an abandoned 1954 Jaguar XK140M out of a lower floor in an old barn in Western PA for $1,000, no title. Covered in years of dirt, dust and chicken excrement. 🤮 Unzipped the tonneau and it had a new red interior and dash covered in show plaques. Had it running in 2 days!👍 Friend finally got complete history and a title after a period of time. I found a 57 MGA racecar prepped in 1958 in a basement in western PA. Sorted it and went to SCCA drivers school. Traded it for a rough XKE roadster.
A buddy of mine had a 57 Caballero when growing up, too far gone to safe, real shame as they are fantastic cars. The rear window comes down electrically if memory serves me right. Would love to have one.
wish they would come to central S.C. right off Interstate 20. Oh I can show you 200 to 300 classic barn and field finds. Q code Mustangs, Demons,Tri 5 and earlier Chevys. You would be amazed.
Dang ! I love the 195? Caballero and the 1954 Skylark. I prefer the 1953 Skylark because of the wheel's opening but, the 54 chrome is amazing. I'll stick to my 1970 Skylark custom and my 70 GS455 Stage 1 convertible for now.
Hi Tom you do an amazing classic car show i restore classics also and whatch a few epersodes every night one of my dream cars is a 56 Ford pickup but living in Germany the shipping cost kills it but keep up the good work love it.
Very nicely done. I liked the GTO and the Buicks for sure on Jim's Ranch. I also have an eye for the Volvo 262 C and it looked like a Triumph TR?. How does one get a hold of Jim? Thanks for your efforts.
I realize you probably have more knowledge on these cars than I, but I have to ask, the Buick Invicta, you said it was a 20.000 mile car, How do you know that ? Remember on the older cars the odometer rolls over at 100,000, and that certainly is a ton of rust on the rear wheel well, which would be in line with Michigan winters and all the rock salt they put down
I love your show Tom. I'm watching all your episodes on RUclips. I'm not an expert. Though I have watched a lot of old car videos. I do wonder why you say that 1962 Buick Convertible is in "good" shape? Well, given the 20k mileage and assuming it has no mechanical problems (a big if!), and given the spare parts that go with it, "good" might be a bit of a stretch in my opinion, with all that visible cancer (10:09) on it. There probably is a bit of invisible cancer as well. Also, it all but certainly will need a new top and definitely new paint. I normally would say to patina any ancientmobile with THEE original paint (in decent shape), but not if it only has 20k (I'd want it to look like 20k!) So, given the years of shoddy outdoor storage, that Invicta probably needs a full frame-off to do that righteously. I would think "fair" is closer. As for that 1964 T-bird convertible (12:16), that's what CIA agent Felix and his partner drove (a white one with a black top) in "Goldfinger". I had a 1965 T-bird hardtop in 1976 ('64's spelled out "Thunderbird" on the hood, whereas '65's had the T-bird emblem instead). The Ford product placement in that movie was very obvious. Do you remember the Falcon based Ranchero truck that hauled away the brand new Lincoln in the back, after it had been crushed into a cube (a crying shame)?
Hey Tom, is there an episode of The Barn Find Hunter, that tells the story of that beautiful Woody that you drive? I would love to learn the back story on that car!
Would love to have an old rust bucket 1950 - 1970 car that runs just to have fun in and enjoy the music of an old engine and not worry about dents or scratches.
parts cars is such a bteer sweet as they make less and less cars yet are vital to keep other cars on the road.i beleive we are entering a time where parts cars will be less needed with people opening shops making parts using metal 3d printers and having ways to create so many old car parts.
Hi Tom! Been following the series...(sorta) and I have a copy of "Detroit Barn Finds"...(signed). I would seriously like to get another copy...except it's out of print ! Any chance of a second run?? Living in Detroit, I know about half the people in that 📖 book, which tickles me no end. I get chills seein you drive the Woody around Detroit, knowin what I know. Don't do it!!! Rent an econo box so you blend in a little better. The last thing a white boy in Detroit wants to do is call attention to himself. Sorry for the reality check, but I care about you...✌😊
Great series! I do have one bone to pick though. Jim has some pretty rare and desirable cars, but he seems to be content to let them sit there and rust away. He obviously wants to restore them, but admits he doesn't have the time. Why not sell them and let somebody actually bring them back to life. The very rare Buick Skylark deserves a better fate. I just hate seeing these cars sitting, because some guy won't let go of them. Too bad.
Jaguar never said the XK 140 and XK 150 would go 140MPH and 150 MPH. The later E-Type could barely do 150. The XK series cars were in the 120-130 MPH range.
one of the best car shows anywhere right now.
You got that right.
My 1996 Buick Roadmaster had the same trunk keyhole hidden under a Buick emblem that you rotated out of the way like this 1962 Buick Invicta Convertable. I love it when newer vehicles pay homage to their ancestors with small details like that.

In the late '70s I rented a room above a double garage on a 2ac estate in Pasadena,Ca. The owner drove a BRG XK140 Jaguar. Never forget it.
At least that first guy with the 3k for the caddy is honest. I hate it people these days ask big money for rust buckets just because it's a classic
LOVE these videos...just wish they would come more than once a month :(
Jeeper kinda like roadkill
Yes, same!

Good for you finding two of your favorite Jags. They are inspired and beautiful automobiles.
Wow, just discovered your videos, and I love the fact that the sellers have a love and passion for old classic cars and are not asking a fortune for them just a reasonable price
Every episode its like sun in the bad day. Thanks guys.
My grand mother had a Jaquar XK15o fixed head coupe in BR green wire wheels nice car, i traveled in it a few times, it was RH drive, beautiful car!

A Jabro? Wow, for someone who's "that friend that knows all cars" that was a new one to me. Love learning something new.
wish they would come to central S.C. right off Interstate 20. Oh I can show you 200 to 300 classic barn and field finds. Q code Mustangs, Demons,Tri 5 and earlier Chevys. You would be amazed.
I live in Lexington and need a project like I need a hole in the head but your post is intriguing. Hope the show finds you!
Where at in S.C?
Daniel Scott a lot of old cars in the 803 and the 843
Man I like this Barn Find series! Great job! Always cool to see what you find
Brilliant, I'm in England, but this makes me want to head down to the rural parts of the south of france to look for some old citroens (: yum
Wow,you are really lucky to have a 'woody' at age 61 !! Very well presented video, the pastor was very fair on his pricing.
My Mother has that same 1959 PINK CADILLAC!
God Bless This REV, MY MOTHER & FATHER!
Charleston West Virginia is basically my hometown, I love hearing or seeing things from my neck of the woods
Love your show!!! Keep up the good work

Those pillars are called a B post the wind shield is the A post Mr. Hagerty . Love your show.
I never get tired of watching these!

This is a great show. Love every episode. Thank you.
as always wonderful video. makes me want to go work on my 77 XJS lol
How can i get ahold of jim
I wanted to see more of that International terra pick up
The bass in the beginning of the video reminds me of Roadhouse blues from the doors
I LOVE Caballero wagons ! One of my top Favorites
Another enjoyable episode
Great series!

Also strange how he rated it in good condition. With all that rust, it looks like a parts car as a resto would cost north of 75k.

I don't think Tom likes Cadillacs that much as he doesn't show them regularly. However I love his shows!!
Hey Tom, is there an episode of The Barn Find Hunter, that tells the story of that beautiful Woody that you drive? I would love to learn the back story on that car!
Did I already see this one? Yes, but I'm watching it again cause I love this series
I love these videos, regards from Spain.!!
Great work Tom. thx
Nicely done. Great video.
i thought season 1 had ended...glad there are a few more episodes until season 2 starts
Did Tom get a look at that Sunbeam Alpine to the left of the Invicta? Looked like a series III in fair condition.
Yes, I saw it. There is a Tiger in the other room, too.
Was this after Pasteiner's cars and coffee? Because I met this dude.
Yes
I was that one kid with a camera
Oh I wish I could follow Tom around to purchase the cars he looks at
Tom = the rain man of all things automobile.
You should of shown the pink 59.
That cavalero is very cool
jajajaja ´´ cavalero ¨ jajajaja
Would love to have an old rust bucket 1950 - 1970 car that runs just to have fun in and enjoy the music of an old engine and not worry about dents or scratches.
The 120/140 series were some of the most beautiful cars that Jaguar ever produced.
Just my opinion
some really nice stuff there, plus tell the guy good luck restoring that wagon
Woo, that's a pretty sweet little collection
And a pretty cool guy too
Nice finds,
thanks.
Love this show but he should've spent some time on that pink 59 caddy
These videos are very interesting, should be twice as long, as soon as you get into them they're over.
Great ep!
OMG! I worked around the block from that guy/the rev. once! Still, don't let looks fool you BAD neighborhood!
great show, great music
When I was a deputy on patrol I found a barn full of about 20 of the 1956 Ford Skyliner Crown Vics.
I LOVED those GTOs! I wish I could buy them :/

The first man in a suit has interesting cars, the history of the American automotive industry.
What about the 1959 Pink Cadillac beside the jag?
First class pro camerawork thks
i live in detroit and would like to talk to the rev about that Cadillac!
joe g same here
TOM WHY DIDN'T YOU GO FURTHER IN DEPTH ON THE JAGUARS!!! Is the full 30+ minute episode somewhere else?
Was the Crosley who made the motor for the Jabro the same company that made TV's and Radios?
that 262 Bertone though :O
I think you disturbed the local residents @11:27.
Hi Tom love your videos and the background music, can i ask who plays the music. Thanks
The Rev takes in all the 4 door cars that no one else wants.
I want them. Especially that $3,000 Cadillac. Can go with my 4 door 1972 Electra...
Hi Tom! Been following the series...(sorta) and I have a copy of "Detroit Barn Finds"...(signed).

15 minutes is way too short for these videos. Gotta be 45mins minimum. Great finds :D
Is the 51 Chevy still for sale or can you still get ahold of the guy
Correction: at 3:33 you can see the Chevy's grille, and that grille makes it a 1952, not a 51
Why didn't you speak about the volvo 262 coupe ???
The Jack Nicklaus Delray Beach, FL dealership emblem should add some value to the ragtop goat. At least to a golf enthusiast.
Is that a redblock volvo I see? love myself some quality sweedish bricks
Nope, it's a 262C bertone so it has an early version of the V6 PRV that is not very desirable.
pichurri I thought it looked like a 200 series but I definitely noticed it wasn't in the 240 family
Sorry on the Comet what year.engine, doors etc.?
Always wanted to know what's the story with the Mustang at 0.40, the Fastback.
That mansion probably cost 60 grand. Detroit is the spot, minus the water issues.
Jaguar never said the XK 140 and XK 150 would go 140MPH and 150 MPH. The later E-Type could barely do 150. The XK series cars were in the 120-130 MPH range.
0.46secs '62 Dodge Polara. My life is complete...
Where does the guy with the GTO's live, I'm super interested!
yeah, special to the old timers. new gen kids will want their own generation cars.
ZD- Motion ~ ain't it the truth ... Generational Loyalty makes false classics out of familiar Crap
There’s a ‘59 Caddy!!
Are the GTO's still for sale, I live in Detroit area
I want that Caddy! How do I get a hold of this guy?
