    Great comprehensive review. I own a 2023 and love it. Perfect size for around town and plenty of torque when you need it. Great value too.

    16:05 There is some leak in the middle of bike that was not there at the beginning of the video. Something was probably leaking when you turn on the engine.

    Your reviews are so thorough. So much information. The ONLY thing that would make it even better is if you took it for a spin and talked a bit about how it FEELS :). I keep going back between your channel and Zach's "daily rider" reviews from revzilla. I'm losing sleep over trying to decide which bike I want...

      @@PeterLoweOne Sure thing Pete! That was my point exactly, and its what makes you stand out so no need to change your format, but whatever you do even if you include it eventually I know you'll do a good job with your unique spin. As far as any other ideas, I liked when you did the comparison videos especially with the z650 vs the ninja 650 etc. Maybe what you could do is try more comparison videos especially in the class range. For example, the Hornet is rivaling the 8s currently but the Mt07 was and is still in the race. So perhaps for one video you can try that. Then another could be one of the last 4cylinders which is the cb650 and cb650r which are both nice but currently the display looks rather dull compare to the competition, then we can take another retro being the sv650 and maybe compare it to the 8s. If I have anymore ideas I'll let you know. Godspeed buddy 👍

    Hey Peter, Im struggling on picking up a MT-07 or a Ninja 650 for my first bike. Constantly watching videos on both it is a difficult decision. Which bike would you prefer that will last and not want to upgrade any time soon? Decent highway trips that are not more than an hour for commute if necessary. Wind protection - would just purchase a puig wind screen but not sure if that would be enough for 65-70mph speeds

    The fork is not really class competitive. Every other real competitor (Suzuki gsx-8s, Triumph trident, aprilia tuono 660, honda cb 650 r & 750 Hornet, ktm 790 duke and even the new cf-moto) have upside down forks.
    The only other bikes I can think of in this segment that have comparible forks are the kawasaki z650 (which is not really competing anymore at this point) and the suzuki sv650 (which has largely been replaced by the gsx 8s). There is no way this is still comparable, for a bike that got a refresh in 2021. (I love Yamaha, but they really gotta update this to stay relevant)
    (the updates were spelling errors I saw after posting)

    That key/ignition location wasn't thought out properly at all and seriously messes with my OCD...I hate it. I'm currently torn between this bike and the Trident 660 and something small like this might just put me off from buying this bike.

    • @PeterLoweOne
      @PeterLoweOne  Год назад +2

      Yeah, the MT lineup really has something for everyone. With that many bikes in the lineup, they really need to make good decisions on what equipment comes on which models. I think they did a good job with the price point, but that will leave some desirable features for the higher end bikes.
